    Always great service from CJ Bass. Their technicians are courteous and professional and get the job done fast and well. This was an after-hours call for a leaky toilet supply line and they arrived within 2 hours and had it fixed in 15 minutes. Saved the weekend for our guest!

    Easy to speak with them, quick to book the appointment. Everyone was very polite, on time, and friendly. Great follow up message system. They were very detail-oriented and spotted things to be fixed and that I wasn’t aware of. I’ll hire them again in the future and have recommended them to my neighbor.

    This is our second time with CJ Bass. They scheduled our appointment quickly. TJ and Rick did an excellent job of installing our comfort height American Standard toilet in our master bath. They were friendly and thoroughly explained limited use in first 24 hours. Their company is very considerate of military families. Highly recommend! Thanks guys! 😊

    Arrived home from three months away up north and found a blown valve when I turned the water on. A call to CJ Bass and they were here within 2 hours and had my problem under control in about 30 minutes. Still work to do in the future, but we have much needed water after many hours on the road.     Mike, our service technician, did an awesome job. He was on-time, knowledgeable, efficient, cleaned up after himself and shared a few helpful tips and tricks along the way. Mike removed a 40 year old shower/tub valve from behind a tiled shower wall that was physically broken. Water had to be turned off to the entire house until a replacement valve could be installed, a major inconvenience. Mike came to the house the next morning and replaced the broken valve with a new one and also installed a new Moen shower/tub trim kit. Thanks to Mike at CJ Bass for the great job. You have earned a new customer.

    We had a pipe bust at the base of our kitchen sink. What a HUGE mess! My son called CJBP 30min before they were scheduled to open to leave a message, Jennifer answered the phone! She was polite and understanding and took the extra time to fully understand the situation I was in and the stress of it all. Emergency services are typically available same day, but that was not necessary. Expecting a waitlist 3, 4, or 7 days later, Jennifer was able to schedule an appointment for first thing next day. Michael arrived before 8:30am (despite the downpour weather) in a vehicle of tools and parts ready for any situation (no need to wait for a part). He was thorough and kind, in and out in 90min -- the total cost was fair and reasonable. Thank you CJ Bass Plumbing -- Fretting done! Mother happy!

    We called CJ Bass because the plumber we hired to install new toilets, under-sink plumbing, facets, etc after kithcen and bath remodels work was awful - leaks, loose toilets and facets, kitchen trap blew out. He came back multiple times and wanted to charge to fix his own work - UGH! CJ Bass - Rick and Langdon, came and quickly and efficiently repaired all isses. Great guys - very knowledgeable and professional. Their pricing was very fair - less than half of the first company we called for this work. I HIGHLY receommend CJ Bass!

    I am pleased to write that after writing the following review Mark, from CJ Bass, contacted me immediately and did everything possible to make this right. Workers were here today and did just that. Thank you Mark for going the extra mile! Happy 2024.I am saddened to write an unsatisfactory review. A month ago my husband called CJ Bass to come and snake out our gray water lines as they had done the previous year. Elvis came to do that. Upon me asking him if he was going to go outside to the gray water tank and snake that out as well he commented that he already knew that the roots had ruined the tank. When I began asking him how he could tell that from inside he mumbled something that lead me to believe he would be checking the outside tank to verify it was indeed in need of replacing. The following day I happened to look outside to see if any digging had taken place and it had not.I’ve called the company 3 times now for this matter and on the 3rd call was told that Elvis stands by his decision although with no call to me to explain.-I was told that snaking out the gray water line wasn’t on the work order. So why was he snaking out the shower when I walked in?- I was told that there was nothing else they “would” do for this situation.-I was told that the gray water tank needed replacing without ever checking it.-I spoke with 3 other men in the industry and they all felt that snaking out the tank was a viable option.All I wanted was for someone to explain their decision to me so I could make sense of it and move on. This did not happen. The front desk people did their jobs very well and I don’t envy them their need to interface between the customers and technicians.Previous experience with CJ Bass had always been reliable and satisfactory and I hear from so many that CJ himself stands by his work and is an excellent plumber.I am not sure where the breakdown happened but I’m left distrusting and frustrated with this company.A little communication would have gone a long way in this instance. I hope this is helpful.

The serviceman didn’t find the leak.After the gentleman left, my son put his held in the hole and found the leak in 2 seconds. Which he did.Had my son not found the leak, the consequences would have been bad. It was an active leak. They made a special service call to diagnose the problem which turned out to be a bad check valve, resulting from debris in the line after the valve replacement.     I had a bad experience with another plumbing individual who actually was a handyman and made several mistakes. CJ Bass came today to clean up the mess from the other person which was from a poor installation of a faucet. They also installed a dishwasher today. The dishwasher was new but apparently defective as we had issues shortly after the visit. Rick came back immediately and very carefully evaluated the situation and was able to determine that we have a defective dishwasher. Hands down, best plumbing service in or around Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach.
