Working with Rich Diamond, owner of Up top Exteriors, has been an extremely comforting experience during a very stressful time. Our home was destroyed by hail in July 2024. Rich and his crew did an amazing job replacing the roof and the damaged siding on our home and shed. Rich is very professional and conscientious when dealing with insurance claim situations. He and his staff are very hard working and skilled in their craft. He is also quick to respond to calls and texts. And he has a gift in giving attention to the details.

Rich has first-rate attention to detail, is persistent, and manages all phases of the projects. He is also easy to talk with.They did three simultaneous projects: removal and installation of an upper deck, replacing half of a paneled floor and installing a cap on a wood stove flue.He is able to solve unexpected problems with clever solutions -e.g. adapting the wrong-sized flue cap I purchased, and integrating new with old siding.Work likely took a day longer than expected, but this was due to the difficulty of R&R of the cantilever support beams, and delay of siding availability.Final results were excellent, and the price was very reasonable.

He is punctual, professional, and his attention to detail is unmatched. Rich is very easy to communicate with and he kept me updated on everything they were doing! Rich was fast to make time to check on a leak concern, and discovered several other concerns upon inspection. He gave us a quote for the repair, but also gave an honest, sincere recommendation supported by pictures of what he discovered on the roof. He quoted a full repair that clearly addressed several concerns that went back to the previous re-roof (which had several shortcuts that caused mold and other issues), and even estimated the age of the roof which I confirmed with my records (it was much older than I had thought). Other contractors for other projects reaffirmed his assessments, so I knew I was working with someone I could trust. He had well thought-out, and researched, answers to address all of our concerns, and accommodated all of our requests with a fair price. He kept us informed as he discovered other issues, and accommodated addressing them to ensure a quality job. We feel like we finally have peace of mind about our roof for the first time since owning the house! We highly recommend Up Top Exteriors!

Rich and his team at Up Top Exteriors took on the big job of a total roof replacement of our 113 year old home (with a VERY tall and steep pitch) as well as our detached 3 car garage. Richs attention to detail, solution-centered approach, make sure the job is done right and well. Rich is also very approachable, easy to talk to and he places a high priority on the professionalism of his team. This is not the first job that Up Top Exteriors did for us. The first time we chose Rich and his team, they fixed a leak in our roof around our exterior wood burning stove pipe. They worked in the cold February weather to replace a good part of the roof structure and facia boards, installed a new stack and reroofed the entire section of that part of the house. Rich took care to make sure the shingles we used during that job, are the same ones that we just used to reroof the rest of our home and garage. You cant go wrong with Up Top Exteriors, highly recommend!
