    Thelen Cabinets did an amazing job on our 3 year old daughter’s closet! The closet is high quality and you can tell they take pride in everything they do. The best part is that the closet has the possibility to grow with her as her needs change! The crew showed up and completed the closet so quickly and left everything so clean! The crew was so nice and took great care in leaving our home better than when they entered!

    This was our second project working with Chad at Thelen Cabinets. Both times Chad has exceeded our expectations.For this project Chad designed, built and installed all new cabinets in our kitchen, including a new center island. During the design Chad showed us a lot of different designs, options and features. Many of which we would have never considered of even know were possible. We ended up with some excellent features and a very functional kitchen.Chad and has team are passionate and take great pride in their work. This is evident in the finished product. The entire process, from initial contact to installation went smoothly and Chad made sure we were happy and comfortable the entire time. We will definitely be contacting Thelen Cabinets for the rest of our cabinet projects.

    The craftsmanship of Thelen Cabinet Co. is superb! We moved recently and the home we purchased needed four cabinet projects to make it our own. Getting right down to business, Chad Thelen listened to our needs and ideas. With his knowledge of cabinet construction, Chad talked us through how best to construct each unique project, presenting us some ideas and solutions we had not thought of. Our projects included: the addition of a kitchen pantry cabinet and a deeper cabinet above the refrigerator; a ten-foot two-person desk with storage/file drawers, special drawers in the middle for our printer and scanner, and above mounted wall cabinets; a bathroom vanity and mirror; and a cover for an opening above the fireplace mantle that holds electronics. The four projects had three different stains.Our projects also required some general construction and Thelen Cabinet Co. put us in touch with Veteran Design Build Inc. These two companies coordinated beautifully and provided the highest quality work.Every aspect of our project was excellently executed. Not only was the quality superb, but the projects were completed in the time frame promised and every person that was involved, from those in the shop to those who worked in our home, was a true professional. We feel very grateful we found such a wonderful team to work with!

    Chad and the team at Thelen Cabinets did an amazing job on our basement cabinetry. Chad built the bar cabinets, media cabinets, mantel and floating shelves. He was able to come over the same day I called because he was in the area already. Using his iPad he was able to get measurements quickly and I had a quote and detailed plan without delay. The cabinets were installed within a month. Chad had great ideas that we included in the project. His shop is really impressive with top of the line equipment including a machine that makes a shaker cabinet door out of a solid piece of wood so there are no seams. The cabinets are extremely high quality including the hinges, hardware, etc. The installing team was also very professional and capable. The pricing was fair and what I would expect for custom cabinetry. I highly recommend Thelen Cabinets. Thank you Chad!

    Thelen cabinets built our original cabinets when we built our new home in 1996. A hinge on one of the doors broke last week and Kevin was able to replace it in minutes.     Our master bath is a 3 qtr bath and had storage only in a vanity. No place for towels, meds, makeup, hair dryers, etc..... any of the usual things that you need to store in a bathroom. Chad set us up with cabinets and a new vanity that dont have a big footprint, but gave us so much storage, and the craftmanship was awesome. The grain on the drawers even match across the cabinets. I am so happy! Added two cabinets and a new vanity in the bath, and a new storage cabinet with huge drawers and a place to fold clothes in the laundry room. I love it!Still waiting for tops, but they are coming soon!

    I had Chad and his team redo an old built in entertainment center for a movie room. Chad was great to work with, he was able to do all the architectural drawing for the new built in, including coming up with some clever solutions to deal with some challenging constraints of how to get a large built in into an enclosed basement. The quality of my new built is top notch. They use high grade wood and the craftsmanship is everything I could ask for. I would gladly use Thelen Cabinets again (Hopefully for a future kitchen project), and am very comfortable recommending them to anyone looking for high quality cabinetry / wood work.

    Thelen Cabinet Company made the cabinets for my basement finish job 8 years ago for cheaper than the big box stores and much higher quality, came to the house, measured and pointed out things I had not noticed with my original plan. The cabinets are still gorgeous cherry and look better than the day I got them, I needed another pantry like cabinet to match and they did an awesome job, delivered it and put it right where I wanted it, matches perfectly, I would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality workmanship and great customer service!!

Our latest custom cabinet was for a bathroom remodel, and we were under a tight timeline to have the cabinet made before the rest of the work could be completed. We sat down with Chad on short notice and verbally shared with him what we had in mind, and he had it drawn to specification within minutes. We knew Thelen Cabinets was our go-to place, and they did not disappoint. In fact, the day we picked up the cabinet, we neglected to load up an accessory piece that went with the cabinet, and within two hours, it was personally delivered to our house, a half hour away from the shop. We had damage in our house, and were without a kitchen.     This post is long over due!!We had a kitchen upgrade years ago and I went back for some new drawer pulls that I needed for another project to match our existing hardware. Chad was more than welcoming and willing to help me with such a small request (you dont see that often in this world anymore). He also took the time to show me what had changed in the shop since I saw it last and I can tell he is investing in the future and is excited about it!! I saw some crazy cool equipment he has purchased to make the custom cabinets and it is become more automated that even before.We renovated our second floor bathrooms in 2020 and I let the general contractors cabinet maker build some cabinets, BIG MISTAKE!!!! on my part. I will never let that happen again and I will have Thelen build all of my cabinets for here on out and will never allow anyone to persuade me differently.Im thinking of having Chad fix these cabinets for me because Im still not happy with them.You need any cabinets, Go see Chad at Thelen!!

    Chad Thelen knows & understands the meaning of Customer Service! To say their customer service is superior would be a gross understatement! I simply needed a cabinet drawer repaired & certainly not a complicated fix either. After calling countless cabinet companies, absolutely NO ONE would help me! They all told me that unless they built our cabinets, they would not fix the drawer. I heard about Thelen Cabinet Co. from a friend, called him, brought my drawer to him, he said; no problem and the very next day he called to tell me my drawer was ready for pick up! Although I did not purchase cabinets from Chad, he was more than willing to take care of me.     I love my cabinets! Chad and Thelen Cabinets did a terrific job. The quality is wonderful. All the doors and drawers close smoothly and the finish is gorgeous. Chad took my rough sketches and created a plan that captured what I wanted. I had lots of Pinterest ideas, and he steered me to ones that made sense and met my needs but did not break the budget. He showed me a couple of features that I ultimately added that I hadnt found. He listened to what I was wanting and made it happen. I only had to meet with him once to work out the details.He came out to the house when the contractors were determining what was in the soffits. When a couple of obstacles arose, he had a plan to maximize the cabinet space and deal with the stuff in the soffit.Everything stayed on schedule and Chad worked really well with the general contractor. He always returned my calls or sent an email or text to keep me up to date on plans or questions.As friends stop by to see our new kitchen, the cabinets are the feature they all ooh and ahh over. They like all the features like a pull out utensil cabinet and a charging station for the phones as well as the overall look.Thank you again, Chad and your team, for making our kitchen look great!

    Our entire home has Thelen cabinets. The cabinets were built by Thelen when we had our home built over 30 years ago. When we wanted cabinets for our entertainment center, we went back to Thelen. Next it was a cabinet for our laundry room, then as we finished our lower level, we went back for cabinets for our LL bathroom and wet bar.     I have a home with 30+ year old Thelen custom cabinets. They are solid and in great condition, just 30+ years out of my preferred style. I contacted Chad looking for a way to update them without breaking the bank. He was extremely helpful in explaining the quality I would be losing by switching out doors to a cheaper Home Depot option and suggested maybe just updating the color and hardware. He was able to get me the exact hardware I wanted at an unbelievable price as well as extremely helpful in offering tips and suggestions for how to paint the cabinets best.
