A wonderful group of electricians! They are courteous, professional, explain everything and make sure all work meets local codes. You cant be too careful with electric so we stay with Fielack. We have used them for the past 30 years and are very satisfied. Recently, we had to do a new panel and an upgrade to 200 amp service. They did a fantastic job and the independent 3rd party inspector approved the job a week later. I highly recommend them.

Needed to have my attic fan replaced. I called Fielack Electric for advice. They were very courteous, friendly and very helpful. They sent over a gentleman (James Stahl) who was very friendly explained everything he was doing. very professional in every way. they assured me they only use top of the line quality parts and materials. We re-wired almost the whole house over the last few years: Redressed switches and outlets, diagnosed overloaded circuits, and added new wiring. Moved and upgraded breaker box with power surge protection, installed lights, fans, new outlets, new ethernet cable, and multiple gfci outlets to handle all of our appliances. Every job that was done was tested and just worked! Our lights no longer flicker at random and work areas were always left clean. Jim lead his crew Matt, Virgil, and Fermine with respect and efficiency throughout each appointment. Everyone we dealt with starting with Adam took great care to educate us about our projects and completed them timely from start to finish. We were spoken to with respect and had a blast joking around about all of the tight spots Matt had to squeeze into and not to over order lunch or he wont fit!! The whole crew is a pleasure to deal with and we highly recommend them to handle any electrical project you have! Adam and Jim handled our endless To Do list with patience and did a great job scheduling the extra work that we asked of them. Thank you for that, and most importantly for making our home safe!! If we move, were taking Fielack Electric with us!

I found Fielack Electric on accident, while following one of their trucks in traffic through town. I happened to be in the process of bidding an outdoor lighting project and thought I would give them a call for an extra bid. Little did I know, Adam and his crew would turn out to be one of the best electrical contractors I have dealt with on Long Island. We were very happy with the result of the project. Fielack went above and beyond by coming back to replace some fixtures that went out shortly after install, due to a manufacturer defect, at no additional charge. We are looking forward to having them back for our next project and would certainly recommend Fielack Electric to anyone in need of electrical repair/contracting services.

Im very satisfied with the work Fielack performed for some major electrical upgrades on our home. The team was very professional and courteous, led by Dave, and including Mike for the major work, and Chris, initially. I appreciated that Dave explained all of the work he was doing in detail and the codes involved, and answered all questions with patience. I feel safe in my home with the upgrades and am very pleased with the work. The team worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. I needed an electrician but had no referrals. I found Fielack from a local add and did as much research as I could. From my initial call to the finished product, I am very satisfied with their services. Theres a couple of more upgrades to be done and well definitely be using Fielack for them.

Edited to add:Just had Steve and Fermin here to fix some wiring and add a generator switch panel. They were very professional and thorough. They also went through the process of showing US how to set up the generator so it’s done correctly. The team from Fielack electric, led by David, helped us out greatly after we discovered multiple code violations in the house we had bought. They explained all the issues to us in a very clear and understandable way, and gave us a good understanding of which issues needed to be fixed immediately (because they were potential fire hazards), and which could wait a little longer, since our finances were kind of tight after buying the house. They were also very honest in explaining that even though some things could be done in a cheaper way, they would still be in violation of codes, and could still cause problems in the long run. Compared to the other electricians I had worked with in the past, I felt that even when Fielack wasnt the cheapest option (although more often than not, they were), they were the most detail-oriented, and the most invested in not just getting the job done, but getting it done in the best possible way. Over the following several months, David and the other electricians did all the rewiring that was necessary, and even though their new wiring went all over the house, they were able to route everything so invisibly, as to only need one small wall area in front of the bathroom where a square in the wall had to be cut out (and replaced). All other access points were done in places covered by cabinets, stove, etc. They worked efficiently, made sure that everything was cleaned up after the job was done, and even kept an eye on our two kittens, making sure to keep doors closed when needed to prevent the kittens from sneaking into the houses crawlspaces and getting themselves into trouble. Today, David and Mike came by again to install an outlet under our kitchen sink. Very impressively, even though he hadnt been to our house in months now, David still remembered where all the access points were and even called ahead to let us know which areas of the kitchen and cabinets should be cleared off so that they could access them more efficiently. As they were working, even though the price had already been agreed upon, David realized that the job could be done more efficiently by using some of the existing unused wiring, and proposed to me that they can do that instead of their original plan, decreasing the final price that we had to pay. Overall, dealing with Fielack Electric, and particularly with David, Mike, and the rest of their team has been an excellent experience, and Id definitely ask them to return for other electrical work I may need done in the future.

The team was extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Its sometimes difficult to find reliable and honest contractors but Fielack is great and I highly recommend the company for electric work.

Found Fielack from Home Advisor. From the minute I called I felt very comfortable with them. I don’t remember the guy who answered the phone but he was extremely helpful, walked me through what could possibly be the issues and didn’t make me feel stupid for not knowing.I set an appointment and they called the day prior to tell me my time frame and then 30 mins before arriving( at the beginning of the time frame!!)Mike and Dave where the guys who came to do the work. Friendly, professional, and honest. They walked me through the whole process of what was wrong, what they had to do to fix it, and updated me during the time to let me know the progress!They cleaned up after themselves and respected my home - and answered all my questions even the ones that I didn’t call for!!I will absolutely use them again and hopefully get Dave and Mike back because I know they know what they are doing!Thanks guys!Greg L.

We have had a couple of complex electrical problems (relating to steam humidifiers and some necessary rewiring work) which no other electrician has been able to solve over the past 3 years. With 3 visits from 3 different crews, Fielack Electric identified and solved each of these discrete issues in a professional manner. I should also mention that I compounded the work that they needed to do by providing some misinformation which necessitated the 3rd visit. Despite that, management (Lou and Adam) and the 3 different crews worked through each service need and didnt charge for the 3rd visit when they had every reason to do so. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My tenant that rents a commercial unit from me complained that the lights were out in half his shop. I spoke to a gentleman at Fielack (I believe his name is Jim) who told me to check with PSEG and with the tenants neighbors as it may have been an external issue. It turns out that it was. The lights came back on a few hours later. I appreciated his honesty rather than having to spend $$$$ on a repair that didnt need to be done. I recommend Fielack Electric for electrical repairs and will use them in the future!!!

Fialeck has helped upgrade our electical system over several years after previous companies incorrectly wired our home. Fialeck eventally placed twin 240 volt circuits into the house to handle all problems. Recently when handling a short that had suddenly appeared, they noticed that certain fixtures having halogen bulbs were overheating. On checking the wiring it was found that several of the fixtures had their insulation burnt off the wires into the fixtures with extension into the ceiling. If left unrepaired it would be a major source for a spontaneous fire developing. Fortunately they were able to remove and rewire all sites needing immediate repair.

Hi this is Regina Ellsworth and I recently had Fielack back for additional work and could not be more pleased. It is always difficult to find good companies that you can trust, but not in the case of Fielack. Their workers are respectful, trustworthy and a pleasure to have in my home.
