We consider ourselves so fortunate having Cedar Lake Electric doing our electrical work for our kitchen remodel. We called Jay Valentine to help us with this undertaking and that same day he was at our house assessing the project! We wanted to put in can lights, but the pitch of our roof wouldnt allow it. Jay went back, did research, and found lights that would work. Electricians Greg and Bryce put the lights in. Called Cedar Electric to install a transfer switch to have electric in case of outage. Bonnie was very friendly and I was set up in a couple days. Two men came out - Louie Wilder and Nate Sevcik (Nate now owns the business). They asked what I wanted, assessed the situation and advised on the best route. They were professional and communicated very well. Nate left and Louie worked his magic. When he was done, he walked me through everything and we started the generator to make sure it all worked, which it did perfectly. When he drove away, he stopped at the safety light by the barn. (In rural areas most everyone has an outdoor light on a tall pole). He was there for a while and seemed he was talking to someone on the phone, then he left. Next day, the power company came out and replaced our pole! Cant say enough good about Cedar Electric and the people who work there. Weve called them a few times and will call again because they are THE BEST.

Just really cant say enough praises to these professionals. From the warm and friendly voice with Bonnie answering the phone and her ability to quickly find an open appointment to the professionalism of the electricians that come out and to repair your electrical issue. Ive had them out several times over the years and they clean up after themselves and are so courteous. Louie is one electrician thats been out and he has been great to communicate whats wrong and what he is doing to repair the issue.
