I highly recommend Decked Out MN! Communication with Matt was great throughout the project. He came out multiple times to make sure we planned well and that everything was going well during the project. He’s really knowledgeable and made suggestions we hadn’t thought of. We added lights last minute and he wasn’t thrown at all and made it seamless. The crew was professional and our deck turned out even better than we’d hoped.

The entire experience with Matt and his crew was first rate from end-to-end. After several struggles trying to get other builders lined up, Matt responded very quickly to our inquiry and promptly set up our first appointment. Matt provided great suggestions and options that resulted in a beautiful end product. Matt also had expert advice and solutions to address issues from the original construction. Communication was consistent, clear, concise and timely throughout the entire project. The crew was professional, courteous and the quality of workmanship was amazing. We had a great feeling about how the deck would turn out from our first conversation with Matt… but honestly, it turned out even better than we could have imagined. Our house had the original deck and was slowly deteriorating. Matt was so helpful he helped us figure out size, color, material and railings. He was knowledgeable with our cities rules and regulations and monitored the progress throughout. We threw a loop into the plans and added a gazebo. Matt, Keven and crew took it in stride and did a fabulous job we absolutely love how everything turned out. Matt and his team were amazing. We were not sure what size we wanted or how to create a new porch, Matt was patient while we decided and came out to measure and bring samples a couple times. Once we had the plan in place they wasted no time and got our new porch and deck done within the timeframe they told us. The whole experience was great and we would definitely recommend them to anyone we know. Ive included our before photos since I love a good before/after story. All I can say is WOW! I just wanted a simple replacement deck from the one originally built in 1980 but now I have a showpiece. I am immensely impressed. Matt and his crews work on my project was outstanding. Open and effective communication was constant throughout the process. Everything from the initial consult and planning, layout & design, and the construction itself. (Even the building inspector was amazed that he couldnt find anything to criticize.) You cannot go wrong with Decked Out MN on your next project. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We were very pleased with the deck Matt and his workers built for us. Because of the rainy summer, the job started a few weeks later than originally planned, but once the crew was here, they worked from 7:30 AM until sundown every day, including Saturday and Sunday, until the job was done. Matt promptly answered my questions and came out to our home several times to make sure the job was done correctly. We did have to pay more than the estimate since there were rotted boards underneath, which were not part of the estimate. But Matt told me the extra expense up front, and when I received the final bill, the amount was exactly what he said. I would highly recommend Decked Out MN for any deck work. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

I absolutely love my new Trex deck! We hired Decked Out MN to replace our old cedar deck. Matt and his team went out of their way to ensure that my husband and I were happy with our new deck.They even built a retaining wall to ensure that the landing was level and looked nice! If you live in the MN metro area, these guys are amazing deck builders. I cannot recommend them enough.

I had originally planned on taking bids to have a new composite deck installed, but from my very first phone call with Matt, I went with my instinct and chose him and his team to install my deck. I certainly was not wrong in trusting my instincts. Matt spent several hours designing and planning my new deck with me. He came in quickly with a bid and once I accepted the bid, his crew started almost immediately. His crew worked in a lot of inclement weather. Not to mention, they faced a lot of challenges with the structure of our old deck. They were timely and cleaned up after working every day. They always informed me of the timeline and any changes needing to be made. The quality and workmanship that went into this project is second to none. Not to mention, I really enjoyed their company! A fun group of guys to have around every day! Matt and his team were so much more than I had hoped for. They even built me a planter to boot! Highly recommended!

I am so pleased with my new deck. Matt offered great suggestions to assist me in choosing the size as well as a color combination that complimented the color off my home. He also suggested ambient lighting which looks amazing at night. My deck was done in the time frame he said and he kept me in the loop on the progress of the deck. His crew was efficient, courteous and didnt leave a mess behind when they were done. I would strongly suggest using this company to build or replace your deck.
