    ***update 2(4ā­)*** Parker and his team came and fixed the issues from the original installation. He found several other issues from the original guy and fixed those. Thank you for righting the mistakes of the original crew.***update(3ā­)*** a corner was not done properly and started ripping and leaking once again. I called them and they sent a guy out who confirmed that they will need to come out and re pour the concrete. After that, I didnt hear back from them for a week on when they were coming to fix it. In order to keep the process moving I called them to poke them after a week of no contact We are trying to finish our basement and this just keeps delaying us. For 30k, I expected more. TBH, Im now more mixed on if Id recommend them over other companies. The first installation also forgot to give us the dehumidifier which was in the contract. When we brought it up, Innovative Basement did bring one out to us.***They are coming to fix the mistakes but its very frustrating from the home owner end. I am thankful that they are righting there wrong***Original review(5ā­):I was recommended this company by a coworker and I see why. They all were very nice, knowledgeable and did great work. They also got us in quick and had great communication on what was happening with the construction. They were also great with my pets. My dog loved the guys who were doing work.     Innovative turned one extremely bowing wall and one wonky corner into effective cornerstones for my 100+ year old home. Jon, Yusuf, and the rest of the team were absolute professionals, polite, on-time, and went above and beyond for my home. Having beams, anchors, and piers installed can be expensive, but I felt I was in the right hands.

    These guys did an AMAZING job on my basement. I seriously had the best crew. Brandon Cottey, Ethan, and Elijah were so much fun to work with and incredibly nice guys. I would have them do work for me over and over again. My basement looks so good and they got it done quickly! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Innovative out of Fargo! Included a before and after pic of one of the walls. This was right before they laid the drain tile. I am so happy with how it turned out.

    We had two projects done.Both projects were completed with excellent results.Chad and Josh were awesome to work with!     If youā€™re on the fence about who to hire, this is your sign- these are the pros!My partner and I had our crawlspace encapsulated and our foundation corrected. The crew sent out to us were above amazing! Casey Bratholt gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He was friendly and so very helpful with answering all our questions and getting back to us when we called.The team of three that came out were awesome! They went above and beyond with our service. (They even helped us level out our deck steps with some of the 2x4 we had from our crawlspace!)Leonard Starks, Anthony Heryla, and Michael Dean were amicable, informative, and hard working! They made sure the job got done right! The encapsulation looks clean, and it is easier to move around in! We already notice a difference with our floors and heating throughout the house. These men were so great to have, and we really appreciate all they have done!! If we could give a sixth star for Leonard, Anthony, and Mikeā€™s service, we would!Give these men a raise for their hard work and dedication!

    I was very impressed with the end product. Chad and Josh did a great job and were quite thorough, even with the minor finishing touches like chaulking and clean up. The actual project day was a full Five Stars, as was the quality of the end product. We were surprised by how well the repairs turned out which far exceeded our expectations. The scheduling and communication were not the greatest and we werent impressed with the short time period for the quick decision discount. We felt rushed and dont like pushy sales tactics like the short discount window. So, rough start to the project, but excellent ending. We recommend this service.

    Abraham Mukulwa came to our house to give us information and an estimate on concrete lifting. Our sidewalk has sunken so far in the ground that it was dangerous. Abraham did a wonderful job explaining how it worked, what would happen in great detail, and did all the measurements very careful to get them correct. He worked up an estimate we accepted and set an appointment. They commucated with us, so we knew exactly what to expect every step. We were very impressed with the entire experience, and the work they did was absolutely amazing. We will definitely recommend them.

    Derick and his crew did an outstanding job on my basement remodel. Professional, knowledgeable, respectful and very through. They installed 2 egress windows, vapor barrier, triple sump pump system, gutted and removed my entire basement floor 5 gallon buckets at a time and replaced it with rock 4 inches deep before the concrete was poured. They worked their tails off, barely took breaks and stayed till 7 almost every night. They always took time to answer my questions and I felt that they took care of my basement like their own.     Chad and Josh were the 2 that did the concrete lifting at our house. I was very impressed with the whole experience. They were on time, everything was explained to me. They did a great job on the project keeping any mess to a minimum and cleaning up after very well.     Ty Z met with us to formulate a plan of action for our crawl space and he was very complete. A 3 man crew with Cedric as the foreman worked hard and did an awesome job of enscapulating the crawl space and putting a new sump pump in. Prior to the encapsulation we had high humidity upstairs in our house with lots of condensation and ice build up on our windows in the winter. Thus far this winter windows are dry and humidity levels way down. Very happy with that.

He noticed a severe crack in my wall and recommended bracing it. He was very knowlegable and walked me through the whole process, I felt very comfortable and confident with him.When it came time to brace my wall in the basement, Josh H.     They came Mon night 5pm introduced themselves-unloaded supplies/wrapped & covered our items for next day jobsā€¦ got settled so quick they did about 45% of the sledge hammering around basement outer walls. DONE! They came 7:45-8:00 am worked til 6pm! Cleaned each & every time they left. So clean & nice. Today came 8am and completely DONE at 11:00! All clean even tested drains-put water on floors to wash dirt & dust to make basement clean we are very satisfied with their job & attention to our home.

    Kaz was the lead contractor for my large basement project. The project took several days longer than anticipated, and Kaz was very nice about the situation. He got a crew to come help on a weekend, and then two crews to double up on the work the following week to make up the time. He was very good with communications, educating me, and showing me where things were at in the project. He told me when we had problems and they worked well with the other contractors who were necessary to remedy the problems. As far as I can tell, the work is high quality. It also looks nice. I appreciate their attention to detail as well. On the last day, one of the workers noticed a new beam didnt look tightened properly and immediately fixed it. Then, he walked around the basement and tightened all the new beams just to be certain.Having to fix your basement, foundation, or stability of your home is stressful and very expensive. I appreciated the team, including Joe (sales), trying to make it less stressful for me. I felt that everyone came together and helped me through a major event. Thank you.

    We had Riley, Julius, and Emanuel come do our basement about two months ago and recently had to have them come back for a repair. They did a fantastic job and even came a day earlier than expected. Best of all they stood behind their product and did it free of charge. They also explained everything to us and how it worked.

We were able to schedule an inspection quickly, and Adam Johnson was great to work with! He was on time, friendly, and honest. He noticed some issues with previous proposals, had a solution for all our issues, and the proposal came in below the others. He was also very easy to contact with questions. I would recommend Adam and Innovative Basements to anyone facing stressful situations like our!!Update: Julio just finished our HUGE basement job. We had steel beams installed on two walls, carbon fiber straps on two walls, a water barrier on the walls, tiling system and new sump pump installed. The project ended up taking longer than planned due to the amount of work and a storm that took out our power, but Julio and his team worked HARD to get everything done right! They were very respectful of our young childrens needs (nap times and bed times), and went to bat for us when issues came up. Unlike most companies, they did not try to push unnecessary work/products on us! They did well cleaning up after themselves as well!!     We had water coming in our basement on the north/east corner. Since this is a church we needed to take care of the problem but we are also a very small congregation so money was an issue for us. We scheduled an appointment and the guys came out and did a fabulous job. We had standing water, and the very next day, the floor was completely dry. About 2 weeks after Innovative Basement Authority came we noticed water puddling along the wall in one 8 section. So, I took some pictures and sent them to Adam Little. He forwarded the issue to his team immediately. The very next day the office called me and scheduled David Kottke to come out and look at the issue. David was very knowledgeable and helpful in fixing our problem. The only problem we had was that the gas line going to the boiler had punctured a hole in the plastic causing a small leak in the system.     I had Josh, Ken, and Kwasi do a beam installation in my basement. I had taken the day off work in case I needed to be made aware of any changes to the job. Also, I wasnā€™t able to get both my washer and dryer out from my laundry room before the work started (they were walled in during a renovation by a previous owner) and they were able to work around it. They were professional and careful with the work. Would recommend.My inspector was Sinan Supurgeci; he was great. I had called for an inspection about a small leak and I wanted to know if I needed a repair or if another option was good. After looking at the basement and the outside, he told that new gutters and some caulking would likely fix my leak. He also saw that my wall was bowing and whipped up a quote for me in the next day with the contract ready to sign. He helped me get a credit check to allow me to pay at 0% interest over time, and he was available by text and email to help answer my questions.

    Sinan was very professional during his visit with us while he described what it would cost and what the solution would be. He was very honest and genuine about what problems he saw and offered solutions for them (like extending gutters away from the house and explaining how water could be getting in.) It did not make us feel pressured at all to get it done and actually helped us understand the scope of the problem. Overall it was a great experience!

    We hired Innovative Basement Systems to handle our radon mitigation and were very pleased with the work. Travis, one of the managers, was the one who came to install the system. He was wonderful in so many ways - he came to our house early before my wife and I left for work to walk us through what he was going to do. He answered all of our questions and shared his exemplary technical knowledge. He was passionate about his work, paid attention to all the details, was super friendly and personable. After he finished installing the system, he walked us through all the work hed done and told us what to expect from the mitigation and things to be aware of during the really cold winter months. We loved the job he did and that he takes pride in his work. It definitely showed!

    They sealed the crawl space under our bedroom area of the house. We also had a dehumidifier installed. Within 2 days there was a definite air quality change! The 2 gentlemen were efficient and got the job done! It didnā€™t take as long as I would have expected it to take, so I think thatā€™s good?!?!

    Corey responded to concerns we had concerning our sump pump and battery system. He was very knowledgeable about the battery failure and corrected it. The sump pump was not functioning properly he identified the problem and made necessary adjustments. The systems have been working fine ever since. We recently had a issue with a drain line freezing up and he was in the area and he stopped in to help us out. It was determined it was not their system. We were very appreciative for his help and determining what the problem was. Corey is an excellent resource of knowledge. A man like this is hard to find !!!

    Derick and Ben came to install a wall anchor system on our houseā€™s foundation. They were professional, arriving on time and cleaning up after their work was done. We appreciated the effort made to not rip up the lawn by laying down plywood for the dirt that was dug up for the trench. Derickā€™s efforts in advising when a sprinkler line was hit so we could purchase the materials to repair were very helpful and he even repaired the broken lines in the sprinkler system when filling in the trench, which was above and beyond the minimum terms of the contract and saved us hours of additional work. We would recommend Innovative Basement Authority to others.

    I had a crack in my foundation that caused some seepage. Corey patched the crack, quickly explaining the process and care of the patch. Other than the patched wall you would never have known he was here (cleaner after he left). :) A week later we had a big rain storm and I had more seepage. I called Innovative Basements again and Corey arrived to save the day. It turns out that there was an additional crack that was hard to see and was missed. Not only did Corey come the same day that I called, he fixed it, arriving after his regular scheduled appointments and staying late to complete the work....all at no extra charge.I appreciate an honest company that stands by their guarantee, the work that they do and the professionalism of Corey and the rest of the team that I interacted with.     We own a three story close to one hundred year old home built on a rock wall foundation with a 2/3 basement and 1/3 crawl space under the front part of the house. Over many years the front portion settled while the back was within a 1/4ā€ of level. Innovative engineered a solution setting steel beams and jacking points at the 1/3 and 2/3 distance points across the width of the house. A total of 4 beams and 8 jack points were installed. When the screws were turned, the whole house (front 1/3) must have moved because the front living room was now level. Upstairs the floor was better but not perfectly level. This has to do with the way supporting walls were originally constructed. All in all we are satisfied with the results. Obviously weā€™ll need to wait for conclusions on long term effectiveness and would expect to see further adjustments in the future.We had a crew of three show up at the appointed time. Josh was the foreman who laid it out and did the actual leveling. He and Ken were in the crawl space digging holes for the jack foundations (8), setting the support beams, and positioning the jacks. It was terribly dusty in that confined space while they were digging but they had masks and ventilation. Meanwhile, running from the truck to the work space with supplies and equipment was Johnny who hauled in at least a pallet of bagged gravel plus all the steel. It was obvious through their coordinated effort we were receiving a professional job. I asked many questions and each was answered fully and confidently.All in all Iā€™d give Innovative Basement a 5 star rating, not that I have others to compare to but based on company solutions, the people who showed up to complete the job and the excellent coordination from their Fargo office on scheduling.Josh, Ken and Johnny are excellent representatives for your company. We would not hesitate to contact Innovative Solutions again should the need arise.

    I meant to describe my actual experience, but missed this box initially. A few weeks back after heavy storms, I had a lot of water in my basement, no pictures, but it was bad. I was able to score an inspection the day I called, when initially was quoted a few weeks from then. When Nathan showed up, he put my nerves at ease and let me know they could fix my basement.
