Wise Construction in Fairplay

I’ve been searching for someone reliable to do home repairs. I’m a 69 year old single white female. However, I worked construction part time on my days off as a flight attendant. I know what to expect from a reputable contractor. Contacted Wise Construction in FairPlay MD thinking they only did seamless gutters. Much to my surprise, they can do it all. Ken Wise, the owner along with his beautiful daughter, Rachael who recently joined the family business as an estimator (you go girl), and Johnny who just joined the team knocked on my door to address my estimates. Less than an hour later the estimate process for 11 items was complete. Absolutely the best estimate I’ve ever gotten in my life. Ken understood immediately my desire to repurpose and maintain the integrity of my little circa 1847 log cabin house. To top it off, Ken noticed a large landscape rock had fallen over onto my lavender plants. Ken, Rachael (a weight lifter) and Johnny combined their engineering skills and brute strength to upright and stabilize my huge rock. Bottom line—you guys Rock!

Wise Construction is very professional, knowledgeable and detail oriented. We bought a brand new home 5 years ago and have had so much trouble with random areas of the house having water damage from rain. The roof started leaking and we needed the ceilings repaired and painted in two different rooms. Our outside masonry was also not sealed adequately and caused water damage to our ground level wall. The owner, Ken came out to assess the damage promptly and gave a reasonable estimate. His team repaired all of the damaged areas and repainted for a good price. They were always on time and whenever I called with a question, my call was answered or returned within the next day. Now I dont worry anymore when we have heavy rain. Highly recommend!

At the beginning of January we had a massive water leak on the first floor of our town home...there was about 4000 gallons of water that had flooded the entire level. I was 5 months pregnant at the time and we had just finished all the renovations in this newly purchased home. Once the water mitigation company finished, Wise Construction was able to come out the same week and give us a quote for repairs. The handled talking to our insurance company about repair costs and started repairs within a week or so of getting the go ahead for our insurance. Repairs were completed by the beginning of February and it looks like nothing ever happened! (It actually looks a lot better than it did before). I cannot recommend this company enough for home repairs or new construction! We recently requested a quote for a deck which they were able to get to use faster than the other companies that we had reached out to. They took into consideration the size of our very small yard and gave us options on how to get the deck that we wanted while still reserving the yard space!

Everyone I dealt with was amazing! Wise was recommended to me and I could not be happier with the work. The process was smoothe, from the original estimate to completion. I would highly recommend and would definitely hire them for future projects

Super responsive, professional, and quality work. Wise has great experience and is all around a great contractor. They always answered my questions quickly, and were equally as responsive when setting up appointments and following through with the work!

Had a great experience with Wise Construction. They were very knowledgeable and on point. They subcontracted with JF construction and landscaping to complete my project. Would highly recommend Ken & Team and JF Construction and Landscaping.We had a gigantic stone fireplace, that had several issues, removed (over 20k lbs. of stone). We had stucco repaired, gutter repaired, roof repaired, and double doors removed and replaced, and patio expanded! It was a big project. Everyone was super nice and easy to work with and Ill definitely be calling them again for future projects.See the before and after pics!

Recently, we had our kitchen remodeled with Wise Construction after we had water damage from a broken dishwasher water line. They were very responsive when we called for an estimate. The crews were very professional and on time every day. The quality of the work was exceptional. We would definitely use them again for future work and we would definitely recommend their services. The estimate was very reasonable.
