    I had an inspection done for some work I needed on my crawl space and they came out quickly and provided me with all the information I needed. I worked with Richard - he was very professional, clear & responsive and easy to work with. I really trusted him, enough to call him and schedule another inspection with him for other work I needed done as well. It was an easy decision to decide to work with Attic Projects.     I recently worked with Richard from attic projects to treat the mold and replace insulation. From the first visit, he was very professional. He spent very long time to inspect the attic so he could give me a very accurate bid. (No more surprise charges) He always answers all my questions very promptly and kindly. We had to make some changes from the original proposal and he was very reasonable and accepted all my requests. Since I was in a different country while the work was going on, communication was the most important. Richard kept me updated and sent me lots of pictures. I had a great experience with Attic projects and I’ll recommend this company to my friends and family.

    The Attic Projects team spent 3 days cleaning my attic after a rodent problem. The team was very knowledgeable and were amazing working non stop in my attic in very hot weather. At the end of each day they cleaned up so I could still access the space. They were thorough removing old insulation, disinfecting, air sealing, blocking all entry points both inside and outside, and shooting in new quality insulation. They kept me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend Attic Projects for a job well done! I am so pleased and have a very clean, brand new attic.

    A big thank you to Richard who came out to check the water pipe insulation for winter in the crawl space of my home. He was very professional and kind. He went under the house and took photos of the area so that I could see that the insulation was excellent and nothing was needed. The amazing thing: No charge!     We had a great experience working with Richard and the broader Attic Projects team to assess our crawlspace following a rodent scare. The team was very communicative from the outset. They listened to understand our situation and clearly explained what the process would entail.Richard performed the assessment and did an extremely thorough job. He took photos and videos of what he observed and even caught some unrelated issues (e.g. leaky heat valve). Richards evaluation gave us peace of mind that we understood the scope of the problem (not as big as we had expected) and gave us clear next steps for how we could resolve it.

    I had two major issues that needed to be addressed—mold in my attic and dead rodents in the basement walls. The team that handled the attic did a fantastic job. They removed the old insulation, sanitized the area, and installed new insulation, all within two days. Very efficient and thorough!The crew dealing with the rodent situation removed the contaminated drywall and insulation, sanitized the area, and replaced everything. While they accidentally burst a pipe during the process, they fixed the issue within a few hours, and everything is as good as new. I couldn’t use water for a few hours, but it wasn’t a huge deal.The only issue I had was that the team handling the rodents didn’t vacuum the floors after finishing. I ended up tracking rat feces throughout the house and had to spend five hours cleaning and sanitizing all the floors myself, which was frustrating.However, Anthony, the project lead, was very apologetic. He made sure to clean the rest of the laundry room thoroughly, patched and textured the drywall himself to ensure it looked perfect, and even left an air scrubber to remove any lingering odors, which was a huge relief.Overall, despite a few bumps, the job was handled well and the customer service was great.

    Great experience from evaluation to completion. Mason did an amazing job assessing our crawl space and explaining the project. Ben, Annabelle, and Taylor were on time each day, very friendly, and helped answer all our questions.     Project manger came and listened to my story as I had already trapped 1 rat. Sean inspected attic/crawlspace found construction of my house being older. Aloud rats/rodents to access my attic climbing up the wall in-between wall studs. Sean explained/ Showed by entry points in the crawlspace space. He detailed the processes to seal up crawlspace and attic. Got to give credit to the work crews also. Took care not to damage or leave a mess. Friendly and work ethic.

    From the very beginning I was impressed. Will was the first on site for an assessment to prepare a proposal. He was very thorough, photographed the conditions in the crawl space, answered all of my questions and prepared a proposal in under an hour (lower the others) and within an hour. Well maybe a little longer because he listened to my stories. Will impressed me with his knowledge and professional demeanor.On the scheduled day for the work three gentlemen in a large truck showed up, on time just ready to get to work. Vidal, Manuel and Gabriel were all business. They were courteous, polite, answered all our questions, offered advice, explained what they were doing (what owner wants to go into a crawl space, ugh) and did precisely what was in the proposal, which was extensive.As a retired Architect, I have been involved in countless projects and these fellows I would have on any of my projects.     We reached out to Attic Projects after having a mold assessment performed on our attic and crawlspace. Richard, Prject Manager, performed a visual inspection of each area and also verified mold in the attic and issues in the crawl space. We decided to remediate with Attic Projects. Ricardo, Crew Manager, Ronnie and Anthony arrived on site and we found each to be customer friendly, polite, considerate, and respectful. Ricardo provided a detailed overview of what was going to happen and they immediately went to work establishing a containment barrier and protection over carpet and flooring. Throughout the process Ricardo maintained regular communication with texts and pictures. We were amazed by the quality of work and progressmade during the two days. Ricardo, Ronnie and Anthony were a pleasure to interact with.

    We contacted several crawlspace cleanup companies and went with Attic Projects based on the presentation and details provided by the project manager Will, pricing/availability (they were able to start the following week!), and other reviews we read.Background: We have a 3 year old home and found standing water and extensive mold in our crawlspace. The original builder installed an inadequate vapor barrier, and no mitigation for the water that enters the space every rainfall. Our crawlspace looked like a bomb went off...The Supervisor Manny and his team Victor and Rigoberto were assigned and they were amazing, they spent 5 days under the house cleaning, mitigating mold, reinstalling insulation and vapor barrier, and sump pumps with drainage system. They did amazing work, our crawlspace is now dry, CLEAN, and has left us finally happy with our home. I cant say enough about Manny and the team, they did meticulous work and were professional and very careful with our home. Will was very accessible and responsive during the entire project and kept me up to date on progress. We just have the pump plumbing pending but will be done in the next few weeks. I highly recommend this company and the team assigned to our job!!

    We have severe mold infections in our kitchen spreading to the closet and hallway. The mold infected the subfloor in our crawl space as well. Calling 6–7 companies to get an estimate. In some companies, the person was only down and spent 5 minutes in the crawl space. Then it was Richard from the Attic Project who came ... Hes not only the nicest person in all the companies, but he spent close to an hour inspecting our crawl space. About half an hour in, I had to come down and check to see if he was OK, or he had lunch down there. After the assessment, he gave the proposal along with all the problems that I didnt want to hear and all the other companies missed. Besides severe mold, we had rats destroy most of the insulation, and he found multiple dead rats, including the one in the duct pipe with water inside. He showed me all the pictures and videos in my crawl space which I came down later to confirm our nightmare. Needless to say, we picked Attic Project to take care of our problems even though they are not the cheapest. All the people in the company are very friendly, from Branden sales manager, to the crew, who come to my house multiple times.Because of our severe mold, we have to take care of the problem in multiple stages. It took us 4 months to get everything completed. Im mostly impressed with Danny, the Operations Manager. He came to my house multiple times and even sprayed, inspected and gave me some valuable advices. Everytime I called him, he always came to address my concerns in the next few days. He seemed to care and get the problem done right. Thank you Danny, you make me feel very comfortable every time you visit our place. Attic Project is very lucky to have you!

    Fred and his crew did an excellent and thorough job cleaning up our crawl space, removing and hauling away all the old insulation. The entire job took 2 days. Removal of insulation, moisture barrier, hauling away, and spraying the moldy spots on day 1. Moisture barrier and insulation reinstallation on day 1. The crew even replaced the air duct insulation which was damaged by the mold, which is awesome. Great attention to detail, timely arrival on the job site (with a text informing us the team is on the way), great communication about the process, and a great group of people to interact with.     Eric Sean and izzy from attic projects Everett came out to fix our attick insulation that the builder didn’t do. They are a great crew. They took the time to set up to protect the house from mess while ensuring we still had access. They worked well together and were pretty fast. They replaced our fallen baffles and we are going to have them put in a solar fan for av efficiency too. They took photos of the before and after which were very detailed. Amazing experience end to end. This was not an easy space to get in and out of. Thank you!!

    I used Attic Projects after our sump pump failed and caused flooding, black mold and damage to our insulation in our crawl space. After having a plumber and water Mitigator do some work Dokotea came with his team and worked meticulously for three straight days cleaning up the area and making it aspace that I might not be afraid to go anymore! They tore out and replaced all insulation, covered any openings with mesh (had rats) and added foam insulation to keep air out around pipes etc…Dokotea called on his way out every morning to give me his ETA, communicated with me throughout the day as to how things were going; showing me detailed pictures along the way. (I’ve never been down there.) He and the crew would completely mask off a tunneled space every day so they could go to and from the crawl space without any mess to the house and preventing any bad vapors from entering. He also went way above and beyond by noticing that even after our sump pump was replaced, it still wasn’t doing the trick. So he took it upon himself to dig a sloped trench so the water would drain more effectively into the basin. I highly recommend this company and then ask for Dokotea and his crew! Pleasant bunch of guys who worked their tails off in a tiny space all day!

    Brennan from Attic Projects came to do an inspection of our attic and was very thorough, patient, and kind with listening to our needs as well as presenting us with solutions to the issues that have been present within our attic for years. We had rodent issues, droppings, live wires exposed, and random boards thrown all over the place in the attic from the previous owner. It was also not insulated well and we had a lot of air gaps in our ceiling, meaning we were losing a lot of heat to our attic. Brennan explained in detail what they could do to help resolve a lot of these issues and reviewed how the job would be completed. Really highly recommend Brennan, Attic Projects is lucky to have him. I asked a LOT of questions and he really just took the time to make sure I felt confident about the job.The job was three days, and was not an easy job. The crew was Dalton, Ethan, and Mykola. The three of them were so kind, respectful, and HARD workers and they were going non-stop! Dalton communicated so well and kindly with me as I was working from home as well, even went so far to let me know when it would be loud up in the attic as I was working and even offered to take their shoes off in the one tiny section they didnt have a mat down (it was SO small, I told him not to worry at all). They found a LIVE WASP nest up there and removed it and sprayed it down. They took great care in the 3 days with our attic and our home.Our attic is like night and day. Im telling yall it was a HORRID MESS up there. We went up there after the job was done and it was very clean, sanitized, wires nicely pulled together, the insulation was done really well, and the storage boards were very well installed-- we can actually walk up there now and put our stuff up there safely! I actually want to go in my attic now. I never went up there before because it was really just not safe. I do not have to worry about the health hazards with the rodent droppings, we will also save money on our heating bill because we were losing a lot of heat through our attic due to there being many air gaps in our ceiling that were not sealed.I so so highly recommend Attic Projects, particularly Brennan, Dalton, Ethan, and Mykola!! I cant thank them enough, truly.Heres what it looks like now. I rarely write reviews and I felt compelled to write one because we were really impressed with this team.

    Our experience with Attic Projects was excellent. The crew cleaned, sealed and refilled our attic with new insulation, bringing our home up to code, and improving our comfort during winter. They kept our environment clean, were efficient getting set up and tearing down each day, and one crew member even respected our granddaughters door sign no boys allowed when routing the duct hose outside to their truck by having the female crew member place the hose out the window. Its friendly, personable service like this that is delightful to find in todays marketplace. Since completing the work, the project manager has checked in with us to see how our home environment improved. He even helped me find some of the mold remover product they use for a different project around our home. We have nothing but praise for this company and team.

Richard arrived two says later and could not have been more friendly and helpful.He suited up and checked our crawls and took care of the one dead rodent we had in an exterior space to save me the trouble.     A+ experience with Attic Projects. What started as a free inspection and quote for an access ladder turned into me learning that I had rodent activity and heavy soiling in some pretty old insulation. The crew removed tons of debris and got my attic clean, went around the attic and exterior of the house looking for and patching potential rodent access points, air sealed the canned lights and any gaps that led to the kitchen, and lastly added new premium insulation. On top of this, project manager Will worked extra with me to fully understood my needs when it came to potentially installing a ladder into a pretty janky 100 year old ceiling with some weird framing/added drywall issues (thanks past owners). Shout out to their crew Vidal, Daniel, and the others who came by whose names I forgot (sorry about that). Would definitely recommend their services.

    We contracted with Attic Projects to clean up and replace the insulation in our attic and crawl space. The work was difficult and unrelenting but the crew, over a total of about 5 days total, worked extremely hard and did an excellent job. Without exception, they were all extremely professional, friendly, polite, and highly industrious. I am having them back in a few weeks to install insulation between the floor joists in the crawl space and I would recommend them highly and without reservation for projects like these.

    I have to be honest, they didnt do any work or charge me anything and I could not be happier! Jerry came out and took a look at the things my inspector had suggested. Based on what he saw, he let me know what the next steps should be and did not try to sell or upsell me on services I didnt really need. To that end, I DO need a plumber and some small things under there, but it ended up their services were not really required. I am very glad that he was so honest and didnt try to sell me things or waste time/money. In my new home, should I need more help, Jerry will be the absolute first person I call!

    We recently have been dealing with a small leak or unknown water issue in our attic space. We reached out to Attic Projects based on their reviews. We scheduled an appointment. Jerry came out and inspected our space. He came out during the appointment time, texted me his arrival and even shared his location with me when he ran inti a bit of a traffic delay. Once he arrived he asked me about my concerns and got right to work. He did a full inspection of the attic space, showed me where the leak was coming from. Happened to be a vent recently installed by my HVAC company and gave me pictures to share with them to come back and fix at no charge. I really appreciated his thoroughness and how well he answered all of my questions. If I were you I would ask for Jerry when you book your appointment.

    Fred and his crew did a great job cleaning up our crawl space and installing new insulation and vapor barrier. I feel they went the extra mile insuring that the job was done in a professional manner. Every night they cleaned up the work site before leaving and always kept me informed on what was happening. On the last day they found a small leak in one of the hot water pipes so I called a plumber to fix it. To my surprise Fred scheduled a return visit the day after the plumber is scheduled to fix it so that the installation is put back correctly. Again, I am very impressed with Attic Projects.

    FIVE STAR SERVICE for this company!! I noticed organic growth in the attic of our 36 year old home, so a neighbor who had excellent service referred me to a local company, Attic Projects! The Project Mgr, Will Gwinn came out right away and did a full complimentary inspection in both our attic and our crawlspace, taking pictures throughout. Afterwards, he sat down with my husband and myself to explain in a clear, non-pressured manner, showing us the pictures of what was going on in our attic and the serious risk of organic growth & possible mold . We also learned that our ducting in the crawlspace was leaking energy big time as all of the old taping was disconnected over time! The project mgr, Will, was very honest, professional and knowledgable, due to his experience as a construction inspector, but we never felt pressured in any way. In fact, there was a mutual trust and bond, so we decided that we wanted this company to do the work inside our home! The next day, a crew of 3 arrived at our door right on time! They were GREAT! Kudos to Manny, Rigoberto & Jermey! We were SO impressed on how they sealed off and protected all of our carpet & flooring, walls; keeping our home clean! They worked great together as a Team while treating our entire attic and going above and beyond removing the old, rodent-infested insulation in the crawlspace around the heating ducts in order to remove the old sealing tape and replacing them all with the newest of sealing products! They worked efficiently, throughly and quickly! We are SO happy with the crews conscientious work!     We recently had a great experience with Attic Projects. We realized we had a problem with rodents in our crawl space/garage, and we were worried about the damage they were causing. We called Attic Projects, and within a day they sent Mason, a project manager, out to inspect our crawl space. He then thoroughly explained the different options for rodent control, and he recommended a plan that would work best for our situation. He was even kind enough to check my crawlspace to make sure things looked OK and he didnt try to upsell me, which I really appreciated.     I want to share my positive experience with Attic Projects/Attic & Crawl Space Experts. Since my husband can no longer go under the crawl space I went down there and discovered that rodents had invaded it.After looking at all the companies and their reviews and chose your company. They came right out the following day. Jerry their inspector went with me to the attic and then into the crawl space. We looked everything over let me just say it was an eye opener especially pulling down the insulation in the wood bays and then pulling back the black plastic that covered the dirt. Jerry drew up a work order and then went over all its information with my husband and I.Then the first crew came out on the following Monday.Ben,Max,Rigoberto andTaylor came and tore out everything under the crawl space and bagged up all the contents .They shared all the photos and videos throughout the process.They left no mess behind.Then the next day Jay one of the Quality Control people came out and checked everything and added some other things to be done.Then the next day that same crew came out with a fourth person Keegan came and started the process of pouring concrete and other repairs.It is a very labor intensive job not to mention there is only room to crawl under there.So after mixing the concrete it was passed through by bucket person to person they were here more than 4 hours that day and did a great job and left no mess. A couple of hours after they left I went back down there to look and they did a great job! Then Cardenas the Quality Control person came and reinspected the work he was very detailed oriented and went over everything and answered all my questions. And then Brittany the Office Manager called to set up the final appointment to finish.She was very informative and efficient and had a great sense of humor.And then Jesus,Vidal, and Rigoberto came to do the final phase of the project.They were outstanding and their work ethic was second to none! They replaced all the vents with heavy duty screen cleaned all the vents inside and out.Then raked all the dirt which is a pain when there is crawling space only down there.Then laid all the black barrier plastic secured all of it to the ground and then replaced all the top grade insulation in their wood bays and secured that as well.Jesus’s crew was her almost nine hours they took one 20 minute break.They took pictures and videos as well as keeping me informed as they worked.I went down there when they were done and it was FANTASTIC!! Then my neighbors knew I was having to have all that done and they wanted to look after it was completely done. I gave out the business cards that I asked Jerry leave me on the first visit. They too were very impressed with the job and will definitely be calling the company to take care of their crawl spaces.     A slow skylight leak led to some moisture/mold issues in our attic over the wet PNW winter. They didn’t quite do the job of insulating under the floor properly leaving out some ducting insulating and when we found out from our contractor that it wasn’t correct.     Our crawl space was dirty and required numerous maintenance items to be taken care of, but we just didnt have the time or energy to perform that work ourselves. So we reached out to multiple crawl space cleaners, and decided on Attic Projects for many reasons. The office manager, Taylor, was extremely pleasant, professional, and accommodating. She set-up an inspection within a few days. She would send reminders about the appointment, and who was performing the inspection and at what time. Most of the other companies would only give a date, and no specific time or who would be showing up. Its always nice to know the name of the person performing the inspection prior to them arriving as it makes the experience more personal, rather than just complete business. Eric, who performed the inspection called to let us know he was on his way prior to showing up, and was extremely thorough. Eric was completely honest about what needed to be done, and didnt talk us into getting anything done that didnt need to be done. We were scheduled for the services in less than a week, and our crawl space was cleaned out within two days, as well as flex ducting getting replaced, new insulation between the floor joists, and new vapor/moisture barrier. The field lead Mason called each morning to let us know when they would be arriving. Upon arrival Mason would discuss what would be happening each day, and if there were any concerns that he could address. Mason and his team of Sean, Kyle, and Shayne were extremely professional, courteous, and cleanly. Taylor, the office manager, was just as professional and courteous to us, and kept us up to date on items completed after each shift. We were so concerned that our dog, who is sensitive to loud noises, would get upset, so Taylor offered to take her to work with her each day!     I signed up for a free attic inspection online and received a call to set it up in a very timely manner. Communication was great and Jeff came and completed the inspection. I knew I had duct work that was disconnected from the bathroom exhaust fan to the roof. He was able to fix two disconnected areas at the same time of the inspection. He was very informative, professional and showed me before and after work pictures. I felt total confidence in his work and appreciate the honesty and integrity of this company.     We had our home blown in with fiberglass insulation by Attic Projects Everett. Let me start by saying we were greeted at our front door by James and Cameron. After letting them in our home I was taken back by the respect that they had for our home. They removed their sneakers and left them outside the front door. I showed them to my second-floor attic access.After leaving them to set up their equipment. I went up an hour later to offer them some coffee and was amazed at how much pride they took in making sure my and my husbands personal belongings were covered up and well-protected from any falling dust or old insulation from the attic.Well, after four hours of them being in my home. I watched them gather their equipment and thoroughly cleaned my closet as if to show that they were never here. I was a little skeptical at first of the outcome.Well, I can personally say our home has not felt this warm in years. Our house has plenty of insulation in the attic now, but during our initial inspection, we only had between 12″ and 14″ inches of blow-in the whole attic. We had the right R value installed.     We had a Sump Pump installed and I was blown away with their service! They were on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Crew of three. I wish I could remember everyones name. Dakota for the first day and I am sorry cannot remember any other names for the installation but it was perfect and not an easy job! The knowledge of the sales person who inspected and the ten year guarantee sold us.After a few days I notices a squeaking sound that was a little alarming and called them. They came back in the same week and fixed the problem which was only a pipe moving against some wood in the crawlspace. What they found in our attic was quite a mess with our roof vents blocked, the fan disconnected from the ducting, and a huge, thick layer of dust over all of the insulation. We contracted them to remove, clean and reinstall the fan and the ducting. They removed and replaced all insulation and unblocked and cleaned all roof vents. They did a superb job and suggested adding a few more vents which well do before next summer comes around. Their staff were professional, friendly and left our home in great dust-free shape.     You know how cats know things that we dont? My cat started staring intently at the living room wall next to the fireplace. At first I thought she was just tripping, but then we heard a scratching noise, so we started looking for rodent removal services. We had never had rodents in the eight years we have lived in our house, so I was sure it was a problem in the attic because we had an HVAC system installed last year.Attic Projects sent Mason out to do a thorough review of our attic and crawl space. It turned out we did not have rodents in the attic, but they were in the crawl space, and we had a mold issue in the attic. The insulation in both needed to be replaced, rodent proofing and mold remediation needed to be done, and thats not a cheap project.I ended up getting a couple of other bids for the job since it was a significant amount of money, but Attic Projects got my business both because of the promise of a 10-year guarantee as well as Masons presentation and follow-through. He provided a ton of pictures and explained what I was seeing in the pics. He followed up with me a couple of days after the visit, which the only other company I was seriously considering did not do. I had a lot of skepticism and questions for him, which he answered promptly and professionally, so it really felt more like a conversation than a sales pitch. The other company still actually hasnt followed up with me and the project is done now. To me, communication is important throughout these big jobs on my home.After we did the paperwork to get the job going, including financing, Mason got me on the schedule and the team arrived to do the job. Treasure was the team lead and her communication was great as well. When you have a crew of strangers working on your home its always good to know when they will be coming and going. One thing thats interesting about this company is they have separate inspectors that come and take a look at the work and give advice to the crew as well as following up with me on the status and providing a ton of photos. That gave me some comfort since I really couldnt tell you if the crew is doing a good job. Their office manager, Brittany, sent me more photos after the job was done, showing everything they did, so I can compare the before/after.Overall I found Attic Projects very professional, good communication and easy to work with. Keep in mind I am writing this just a few days after the completion of my project. I will try to remember to come update the review in the future with more experiences especially if I ever need to test the 10-year guarantee.

    Attic Projects were great to work with. Had a crawl space that had been ignored by previous owners for a long time and boy was it a mess.Art, the sales person was great and very detailed in the problems and the options (wont gross out review readers but there was a lot of icky issues). Might not be the cheapest company, but for this kind of work, one wants precision, details and all the bases covered. And we are happy with the work and for the price.Fred and his crew that came and did the work were super! Called before coming, gave detailed updates on their progress, did a super job, and all were so polite. Really a great bunch! Thanks guys!Highly recommend!

    Really helpful and thorough! They identified and fixed a small leak in our kitchen exhaust venting (installed by someone else, so no fault of Attic Projects) that had been leading to moisture buildup and really weighing on me.     A couple weeks ago we hired Attic Projects to add insulation to our attic space. A recent remodel resulted in the existing insulation being trampled on etc. Attic Projects did a fantastic job, they let us know when they were coming, they were on time, they were efficient, clean, and showed us the work they completed.     We had a leak in our roof back in April. Attic Projects was able to get someone for an estimate the day we called. We just wanted to make sure the leak didn’t damage more than it should as home repairs add up. Lucky, that we called because when they inspected the attic there was mold everywhere.Their team was helpful and quick and scheduled for the following week. Their team prepared booties, runners and a plastic film to catch any particles in the air when extracting the insulation. They were quick, organized, and completed each task as they had outlined. If we ever have attic issues we’d 100% call them again. They went above and beyond from start to finish. Their team was so informational on every step, we were more than happy with the service.

    The crew from Attic Projects was courteous and professional. They showed up on the day they said they would and called prior to their arrival. My project was crawl space insulation removal and new installation, mold abatement and mouse extermination. They addressed and solved a couple of issues and left the place very clean!     Great working with these folks to have our crawl space cleaned and rodent proofed. We had a proper vapor barrier and new insulation installed following the cleaning. Appreciate all the hard work and communication from Fred, Hector, and Mason to ensure an efficient and effective cleanout and installation of the new vapor barrier and insulation. The QA/QC process was a unique piece of the process compared to other contractors to ensure the cleanout and exclusion was thorough. Thank you!

    Attic Projects was professional, thorough, clean, and timely. Their estimate had the best attention to detail of the 3 companies we had look at the workspaces. The work crew (all W2 employees of Attic Projects) were exceptionally polite, thorough and detail oriented to match the estimate.While the estimate we received from Attic Projects was roughly 30% higher than the others, we feel that the difference in cost was justified due to the following 3 reasons:1. Estimates are never exact. They are a target that should be useable by the customer to assess if the job is worth doing and if they can afford to have it done. If a company undercuts the estimate, they will be forced to make up the difference by either under-delivering or presenting a final bill that exceeds the estimate. Shay (the estimator from Attic Projects), was thorough and detailed beyond his competition and that meant his estimate was the most secure for ensuring the work crew would not be forced to under deliver, and that the end bill would not exceed the estimate.2. The estimate was the most thorough. Shay actually took proper measurements of the workspace. So, he was the only one that saw that we had non-standard features in our home (which was built in the 1920s). E.G.: the floor joists in the basement crawlspace were 10x2 joists spaced 12 apart (not 8x2 joists spaced 16 as the other 2 guys eyeballed). This meant the crew would have to trim the paper-backed batting insulation that would go into the crawlspace which takes longer and would have caused the end cost of the job to exceed the other companies initial estimate. He also saw that our attic was only partially insulated; with some sections having no insulation, while others were junk storage from decades ago. So he included a line item in the estimate to do a full and proper cleaning of the attic space before the new insulation was to be installed. The others had said they would just blow in shredded insulation over the existing old insulation to reach the industry recommended r22 insulation rating.3. The work crew was very good. They started each day with high spirits and positive attitudes. The foreman (Fred) was highly competent and proud of his work. Fred was also extremely thorough and detail oriented (he took before/after pictures of everything). The crew identified damaged air vents in our attic space and replaced them with new ones -- which was not something detailed in the estimate, but Fred assured us that it was just part of doing the job right, so it didnt appear as an unexpected extra charge on the final bill.---We appreciate the attention to detail and thoroughness of Shays estimate. We also appreciate the good attitudes, and dedication to a job well done by Fred and his crew: Casey, Ethan, and Cardenas. Taylor in the office was super easy to work with and very friendly.     We would definitely recommend Attic Projects! Before we bought the house, our attic had already seen its share of renovations, rodents, and DIY mistakes. Mason came out to extensively review the many quirks of the large space. He clearly outlined the issues and remedies, and walked us through the whole process. Jesus and his crew did great work over four days to remove debris and soiled insulation, fill in air gaps, make other repairs, and re-insulate the whole space. We definitely have less stress with new rodent prevention in place and correct levels of insulation throughout the attic now. Thanks everyone!
