    RG Electric is LEGIT... Responsive, communicative, and very reasonably priced. If Google had a 6th star - theyd get 6. Roger was outstanding to deal with.They came through with everything they said they would do and on budget. James and Tony wound up doing the work and were both rock-stars. Our job wasnt big by an means, but was time sensitive - before the holidays - which Roger and his staff understood and got it done.Cant recommend enough. Thanks Roger, James, and Tony!

    I highly recommend RG Electric. Roger was very quick to call me back,assess the problem and get a team to my house. His team was very friendly and professional and worked diligently to repair the damage to my meter and get the power back on the same day. Throughout the day Roger kept me updated on the work needed and the cost involved, and followed up after to ensure there were no outstanding questions or concerns.

    After reading some positive reviews, I hired RG Electric for my level 2 EV charger install. They were able to come on the day I requested (with one week noticed) showed up on time (10 mins early) and did the job efficiently, dealing with my older and full panel with easy. After the install, Roger himself called to walk through every item on the bill. I don’t know what else you can ask for in an electrician other than on time, high quality, efficient services and transparent pricing.

    I am in the process of selling my house and needed a bunch of fixtures and things switched out before the photos were taken. I had a big brand electrician scheduled weeks in advance to come at 8am to do the work that day and the photos and other things were happening later that afternoon. They showed up and didnt have the tools they needed (I told them what to bring when I scheduled) and refused to use my tools and left. So, SOL I started googling electricians and found RG. They made it happen that day, were extremely professional and knowledgable, and didnt cost as much. They saved the day!

    Great personality, great service, great price from a family run business. We had to reroute our power from the road to our property due to outdated setups. Roger and his crew were able to do get the job done (including a couple of extra small projects) in a day, without issue and for a fraction of the price quoted by others.     Roger from RG electric is the only electrician we call when we an outlet ran or something done to install gas or electric fireplaces or inserts. 5 stars isn’t a high enough rating for the service they provide.     Roger is honest and professional. He called me back within a few hours of my initial request. We had a breaker flip that was difficult to reset. Over the phone, he walked me through a few steps, got my breaker to reset, and told me what to watch out for in the future. There was no charge - he did not want to waste my time or money for a simple troubleshooting exercise. If/when we do any future electrical work, he definitely has our business. We really appreciated it!

    My home was hit by lightning during a July storm. Breakers going off left and right; it was a hot and humid night.I was so lucky to hear of Roger and his crew. They came up within twp days and replaced my entire electrical board. Just to ensure all was well they went from room to room turning on the appliances to make sure we were safe and taken care of. Roger has called to follow up and make sure all is well. Ive found my electrician and if you are lucky yours. Amazing to me were the reasonable rates. The whole package!!

    On Saturday May 6, 2023 the electrical panel in my basement caught fire (real flames!). As a result all power to the house was lost. Not knowing any electricians, I Googled emergency electricians in Essex, VT. RG Electric came up and Roger responded within the hour. Roger and James were able to restore power to all vital areas, Fridge, freezer, computers, etc., within a short period of time. On Monday, 5/8 RG Electric returned and replaced the entire panel and all the circuit breakers. They also labeled the entire panel and checked each light and outlet. Roger not only restored the power and replaced the panel but he more importantly restored the comfort and safety one should feel in their home. All this for a price tag that did not come with sticker shock. Thank you Roger and crew for a job well done! Thanks also to Roger’s wife who gave up her day to allow RG Electric to show what the Customer, in Customer Service, is all about. You have gained a customer for life!

    Rog is a fantastic guy, who is always looking to help his customers. I have had a chance to work with him on a couple of occasions and he was very responsive, easy to work with, great with troubleshooting remotely, available to get onsite and much more. He is very caring and thoughtful in his approach. The type of guy I would want to have a beer with after a workday.He helped me solve some basic electrical troubleshooting in my house.     Roger and his crew do solid work, are very good at communicating and scheduling and can squeeze you in when you have a serious problem.     My experience with RG Electric was exceptional. The owner made time after his work day to contact me and follow up on an email I had sent. At a time when there are not enough workers in the trade businesses and each business is working at maximum capacity the owner of RG Electric made time on a Sunday morning to help me assist an elderly neighbor with a faulty breaker situation that was preventing him from using an outside front porch light. His willingness to use his only day off to help get this issue fixed was a true statement to his loyalty to people in the community.     Came home from work to one of my breakers tripped. Put it back and kept tripping. Called and left a message and within 1/2hr i got a call back. I explained my issue and that i had another electrician coming. But knowing that I was way out of my element. He walked me through some troubleshooting and told me what things to look for and turn off. Tried the breaker again and it stayed on. He was thoughtful enough to not to charge me and saved me mucho $$$ in after hour rates from the other company! I then had to call him back 2 more times cause i was having an issue with my outlets working.. He stayed on the phone with me the whole time while i ran around my house and basement looking for switches and GFI outlets. He was able to fix all my problems and release my worries all from the phone. Needless to say he will be doing all the electrical repairs and installations when it comes time to redo my house!!!!     ROGER was fantastic!!!! He spent an hour on the phone with us talking us through the call zones on our furnace getting us to figure out which zone was giving us problems.     Roger is the best! Even though he works 60-70 hours a week he made time to fit me in his schedule.
