    We are thrilled with the work Outdoor Craftsmen performed on our front and back yards this summer. We worked with Scott as our designer and found him to be responsive and collaborative. Elements of his design now feel more like an art installation than new bushes and rocks, and his artistic eye meant that one day I even found him personally pruning one of our trees. The work crew led by Carlos and Victor was also prompt, hardworking and gave attention to detail. OC will likely not come in as the least expensive bid, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

    We have been using Outdoor Craftsman as our property maintenance company for two years now and they do an excellent job! Emma, our main point of contact, is fantastic! She is very responsive when we have extra small projects and the team is pro-active in keeping the property looking beautiful! We also just completed an enhancement project with Scott, the owner. We are thrilled with the results! They built a beautiful stone and steel retaining wall around our sport court and planted new trees for added privacy. They also freshened up our entry grass and upgraded our irrigation in all these areas. We are very pleased and thankful to work with a company that takes great pride in their work!

    After working with multiple other landscaping companies, I recently hired Outdoor Craftsman for some updates to my yard and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results! From the very beginning, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. I worked with Chris who listened to all my concerns and issues, and provided thoughtful suggestions to enhance the overall design.Once the actual work began, my expectations were exceeded by the entire team that worked on the project, including my Project Manager Ian who personally watered and cared for some struggling plants (that are now flourishing!). Not only was the work done efficiently and on time, but the team also made sure to leave everything clean and tidy each day and were very considerate. The communication throughout the process and the follow up was also fantastic.The transformation was incredible and just what I was looking for!     Ive enjoyed their work for many years. Our backyard was redone by them around 2016 and it was quite the transformation. We went from a basic backyard that felt small and cramped to a multi-leveled oasis that feels so spacious! Its so fun to have family and friends over in our space! They did thorough and comprehensive work in making a solid foundation during the construction process- I wanted the job done right, not just cheap and quick. I love the plants they installed- its a lovely design of patterns, colors, textures! Its a joy to look into our backyard every day and its beauty continues to evolve and mature even years later (my favorite is the sculpted pines they put in). Were planning on having them redo our front yard as well. Thank you Outdoor Craftsmen for your beautiful work!

    Outdoor Craftsmen deserves many stars! I could not keep my garden looking so well without them. Michael Polvani manages my team with such efficiency. All I do is send a quick email with grass questions, rabbit issues, pruning, irrigation, etc. and his men are out in a flash. Outdoor Craftsmen does not disappoint!

    We recommend Outdoor Craftsman wholeheartedly. We wanted to remove all grass from our backyard, create new outdoor living spaces that complimented our existing deck, preserve the existing mature hedges and shrubs that border the yard, and install discrete planted areas interspersed with gravel pathways. Stephen listened to our ideas and created a fantastic design that turned our wishes into reality. Plant recommendations were spot on, OC’s inventory of plants was impressive, and Manuel and his installation crew were terrific. We are thoroughly pleased and look forward to using our beautiful outdoor spaces year-round.

    Ed & Caitlyn are both proactive and very responsive. They listen and are attentive with all of our projects. For fall clean-up, the work was immaculate. A neighbor commented that they could eat off of our lawn.

They designed and executed a beautiful landscape in our front and back yard, that has resulted in a natural, private but still light filled home setting for us. They have continued to do productive maintenance for us as well, and have promptly troubleshooted/repaired any issues. They have a great feel and talent for Colorado native landscaping, and I highly recommend them.

    Outdoor Craftsmen turned my humdrum suburban yard into a work of art! The project took about 6 weeks and it was fairly extensive -- they eliminated all of the grass in the backyard as well as a few dead or dying trees. Then they added 45+ tons of boulders, a bubble rock, several trees and bushes, and hundreds of plants. They also enlarged the concrete patio to make it more functional.My backyard is visible from a popular bike path and I can’t tell you how many people stop to tell me how much they love my new yard. I love it, too!I also loved working with them. Everyone I came into contact with from Outdoor Craftsmen was extremely professional and conscientious. They each took great pride in their work and they very much wanted me to be happy with their work. I think they named their company well because each of them really is a “craftsman”. I highly recommend them.

    Multiple design and construction projects at our home completed with excellent quality and professionalism. Scott and his team designed and constructed landscapes that enhance the feel and beauty of our home. It gives us great happiness and we receive regular compliments on our landscape work from neighbors and visitors. The OC team also does a superb job maintaining our landscaping and lawn.     Outdoor Craftsmen did a phenomenal job managing my yard last year. They repaired my sprinklers, they fertilized, weeded, mowed the lawn and pruned my trees and bushes. They put down new mulch and edged the garden beds which kept everything looking so nice. They kept a close eye on my plants and made suggestions throughout the year to help them improve. They responded very quickly when I encountered a problem and they took care of my yard as though it was their own. They worked very hard to keep my yard looking beautiful and impeccable. Special kudos go to Eric, who drained my sprinkler system on a particularly cold and unpleasant day; and to Jordan, who picked up on all sorts of things I would have missed (and fixed them!); to Thomas for cleaning out my bubble rock pond on a cold and dark day so I could keep it running all winter to support the local wildlife; and to the crew whose work made my neighbors envious.

    Scott Deemer and Outdoor Craftsmen transformed our average landscaping into a dream outdoor living space. Our front yard, formerly a sloppy mix of rock beds, gangly trees and builder-grade juniper bushes is now an absolute work of art. The front of our home is beautifully inviting with stone pavers, a flagstone walkway, nighttime lighting, and a gorgeous array of cool boulders, colorful plants, flowers, and fantastic trees. Our once boring backyard now features a fabulous outdoor kitchen, expanded flagstone patio, awesome fire pit, and vegetable gardens. We checked every box on our wish list to create an outdoor entertaining oasis!The Outdoor Craftsmen team is extremely attentive to detail. They provided good communication, quality materials and a VERY hardworking crew. They managed our large project from concept to completion with the utmost care for our property, respect for our family schedule and concern for our happiness. Scott himself ensured the quality of work at every stage in the process. He is a master of his trade - a true artist. Rarely will you find a vendor so professional.     We used Outdoor Craftsman to design a major makeover to our front and back yards. Our main goal was to eliminate the traditional bluegrass that occupied most of the space and to have a more natural landscape that would use less water in the long run. Outdoor Craftsman did the design and the landscape work. The crew that worked on our project did a great job. They worked every day the weather permitted and worked well as a team. We had major work done in the removal of grass, a concrete patio and rock wall and established trees and shrubs. These were replaced with more natural plantings and landscaping, as well as raised garden beds, new patio block, an outdoor kitchen, pergola and yard lights. We are very pleased with the end result, and working with Outdoor Craftsman has been professional and comfortable.

    We have worked with Outdoor Craftsmen since 2016 to design, implement and maintain our landscaping project. Our 10 year old house on a 1 acre lot had minimal builders landscaping when we purchased it. We wanted to create an outdoor living space that incorporated flowering plants, mature evergreens and native elements.When Scott Deemer first looked at our space, he quickly realized what we wanted and created a design to accomplish our goals. This was a large, complicated, and time-consuming project, the results of which we ultimately were and are very pleased with.Attention to quality and detail is a hallmark of the company. Outdoor Craftsmen is just what its name suggests.

    Scott and his crew from Outdoor Craftsmen have recently completed a major overhaul of our front and back yards. They gave our yard a lot more depth and character, introducing boulders and steel-work, along with lots of unique and interesting trees and plants.Whats even more spectacular is an outdoor fire pit and pergola they designed and built. Those projects are so artistic and beautiful, along with being functional.The work crews and foreman were always punctual and eager to take care of requests and concerns. They were more expensive than their competitors, but I think totally worth it in the level of craftsmanship, artistry, flexibility and professionalism.

    Outdoor craftsman did a beautiful job in the creation of our backyard and front yard space. This was a very educational process for us, and I am sure that at times we might have been difficult because we didn’t understand every detail that goes into the planning and execution of a project like this. We were treated with the utmost respect from everyone that they employ from the project manager, to the men who worked on sight. They took care of every detail and thoroughly explained the process to us along the way, all along while being available at any time to answer the numerous questions or concerns that we had.We have been more than pleased with the landscaping that was done and feel it was worth every penny we put into it. Our family of 5 richly enjoys the backyard and we are out there all the time with each other, which was our goal. It has been awesome to watch the changes occur even as the grasses and plants mature. The front yard went from hated to loved and we are pleased with the ambiance it creates for the entrance of our home.     At the end of 2015 we completed a major re-landscaping project with Outdoor Craftsmen. The project was a complete refresh of our property including building a new backyard paver patio and outdoor kitchen, rebuilding large boulder retaining walls, creating attractive planting space on a very steep, shaded curbside part of our lot, installing new irrigation, sod, trees and plants throughout the property and a new paver driveway to replace our old concrete.The project took three months to complete (as scheduled) and we are very happy with the work. Their crews were extremely hard working, friendly, respectful, prompt and incredibly skilled. Their attention to detail was stellar. Our project manager was highly attentive to our needs and concerns - whether large or small, throughout the entire project from the design aspect through installation and beyond. He was highly responsive and always available for questions/consultation. He was sensitive to our budget and put forth reasonable options for us to discuss and base decisions on.We give OC the highest possible recommendation.

    We love the work Outdoor Craftsmen has done! For us its been an amazing transformation from an outdoor space we didnt want to be in with a lot of overgrown, ratty volunteer stuff to a beautiful border that accents & sets off our home, and provides an inviting place to spend time. We get as many compliments on the landscaping as the house itself.It was a great experience from decision through finish. As with any project this size (scraped the whole lot other than large trees to bare dirt) there were some mistakes but more importantly OC stepped up and handled them.We appreciate the friendliness, courtesy and dedication of the OC crew; they showed so much care in doing the work as if it was their own home.

    After a year and a half remodel and being out of our house, our yard was completely torn up. We were very involved in the house remodel and by the time we were done and moved back in, we were exhausted. We met with Scott Deemer and told him we were open to ideas. Our designer was Chris Holthouser and he came up with some incredibly unique ideas. We looked at his ideas and tweaked them a bit with our own thoughts and that was it!!! What he did was amazing!! We had to make so many decisions in the house remodel, it was nice to sit back and let them do what they do best. Everyone was professional and respectful of our privacy while they worked in our yard. No loud music and no daily trash to pick up. They kept us informed of the progress and it came out GREAT. We were so happy with the plants, landscaping and hardscapes. We can now sit back and enjoy our beautiful house AND our beautiful landscaping. Several of our neighbors have since hired Outdoor Craftsman after seeing what they did to our house and their homes look amazing, too.
