I was working on installing new butcher block counter tops and needed help with some delicate cuts so they would fit together properly.Alex was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule and was kind enough to share some good tips with me during his visit.I would highly recommend him as he is honest and very helpful.Anthony R. -

I hired Alex to do a few things in a large remodel project that included my kitchen and front room of my house. Including removing a wall. After removing the wall myself, Alex came and added a couple studs to the new end of the wall and cleaned up where the old wall met the ceiling.He did wood trim around 3 windows in the front my house that required a little more work than typical window trim out. Long story short he did a great job and listened to my suggestions and ended up doing it the way I thought would work best and they turned out great.He also did window trim around a window above my sink, again this was a little more involved than just wrapping the window because a slab backsplash was going to be installed around it. So it had to be thicker than normal so the window trim would be thicker than the backsplash. So once again we discussed a few different ways it could be done and we both agreed on the best way and it turned out great.He also replaced the window trim around the windows in my bay window. This took a little finesse because I left the wood that wraps the inside area of the windows and it stuck out past the sheet rock a little inside the house. So he had to put the trim around the window on in a way that tapered back slightly so there would be no gap between the trim and the sheet rock.. not sure I explained that right, but in the end it turned out great.The last thing he did were some baseboards in the bay window. I did the rest of the base boards in the house but the angles in the bay window combined with the fact that the corners within the bay window were rounded I decided to call Alex to come back and do it. Again we talked about how to tackle the rounded corners and he ended up doing it the way I had thought I would try to do it, but he did a better job than I would have I’m sure and it was nice to just let him do it knowing it would be done well.He was very professional and easy to work with. He also did a great job of cleaning up after he was done.I would definitely hire him again and suggest him to anyone. -

We’ve had Alex from Blue Ribbon Carpentry out for 2 small projects, he’s been responsive and professional each time, and looking forward to some larger projects including re-tiling our master bath. I’m not “handy” so really appreciate being able to rely on Alex, and would reccomd him any day of the week! -
