We have been working with Stan for nearly 2 years and in that period he has completed 3 projects for us and is working on a 4th. He has made us a custom baby gate, a floating desk, a buffet and is working another desk / built-in installation. Stan is an incredibly skilled craftsman who takes immense pride in his work, as is shown in the immaculate detail. He has been very easy to work with and flexible as our needs have evolved as a family. It’s been a pleasure to work with someone who is professional, flexible and very kind. I highly recommend Stan for any custom projects!

This was our first experience with custom kitchen cabinets for our addition/remodel and could not have been more pleased with Stans work. These cabinets are beautiful and built to last. He even built a utensil holder for one of the drawers from a picture which has become my favorite drawer. The floating shelves are Stans work as well. Hes easy to work with and just an all around nice guy! Thanks Stan.

Not only is Stan the best woodworker but hes hands down the best contractor weve worked with! Wed work together on two homes and I always incorporate wood because I know Stan will completely knock it our of the park. Hes your guy, book him!

Stan crafted a breakfast bar as part of a kitchen remodel of our 1905 bungalow in West Highland and his work was magnificent. He took the time to show us several, locally harvested wood slab options and guided us toward a real beauty that complimented the space perfectly. We could not be happier with Stans craftsmanship, patience, and communication throughout the project.

Stan is awesome. He built a breakfast nook for us which includes a built in bench, a custom table, and a standalone bench. He was great to work with and did a fantastic job with the project. Well work with him again, for sure.

Gottschling Wood Design provides an extraordinary blend of craftsmanship, ingenuity and service! We asked Stan to build a large bookcase that would fit the space so tightly it would appear to have been built in when the house was originally constructed. The space was not a clean rectangle so the mathematics involved were challenging and our design was complex. Stan’s attention to detail was exquisite and it was that level of care and excellence that yielded an extraordinary, breathtaking piece of furniture. It is a showstopper in that large living area! We could not be happier!!!

We would highly recommend going with Gottschling Wood Designs! Personal designs, exceptional craftsmanship and detailed installation. We loved our bathroom and laundry room cabinets so much we had Stan design end tables for family room. We will definitely be using him for future projects!

Without even a visit to our home, and just a sample drawer, Stan was able to build three kitchen drawers some tenants stole from our property. They slid right it. So amazing. Stan IS the man.

Stan is AMAZING!!!! He was easy to communicate with and did what he said he would when he said he would. Stan listened to what we wanted and then made us three beautiful items, a huge kitchen island and two cabinets. He helped us ensure our new ovens would fit and refaced one side of a cabinet. His work is absolutely beautiful and very high quality. Im SO glad we found him.Pictures posted-will be painted.
