    Did a great job! I appreciate someone who can quickly do a job. I called with a leak on a Friday night of a holiday weekend and the job is done and completed 2 business days later. Jason, manny and Rolando (there was one more but I forgot his name) were professional tidy and very speedy but still with a quality job. As a woman it was refreshing to be treated as a person instead of the typical “can we speak to your husband” I usually get when scheduling home repairs. I would recommend this company to everyone. I felt the pricing was fair for the work. There were no surprises. Jason was quick and kind on the phone to get my appointment set up. Manny walked me through the job and answered all of my silly questions. Rolando who did the job was respectful of my home and left my house probably cleaner than when he came in. Would highly recommend! Can’t say enough kind things.

    Our hot water heater died, we called the Fair Plumber for an estimate on a new water heater and a tankless water heater. They came out that same day, Manny and Orlando were very polite and knowledgeable and discussed our options. We went with the tankless one. Manny and Orlando came the next morning and installed it. They did a great job, great work, cleaned everything up and went over how it works. I will definitely call them again, we got a fair price and we are very pleased with the finished product.

    I want to thank fair plumber and the response team - Jason and Jose were fantastic. We had a backed up sewer and they were able to come out quickly diagnose the problem and get us back up and running. They also provided a thorough review of the work and what needed to be done.     I have unfortunately hired Fair Plumbers on many occasions for a number of repairs to items that our home builder likely cut corners with and they are great with communication, timeliness and quality of work.     Where do I start. After getting ripped off and talked down to by another plumbing company and the issue still not being resolved, i contacted Fair Plumber. Jason from fair Plumber came and gave me a estimate. He was very patient and took the time to listen to my concern. Suggested options .     Quick responses by phone, prompt service, and very friendly!     I was very pleased to have real ethics in Service from this company. Instead of pushing for installing a new $5k-$9k water heater, they worked diligently to remedy my neglect to have regular service of my heater. They replaced the mixing valve which was recommended with the caveat that if that didnt fix it there would be no charge. After flushing the system it was as good as new.     We had a major plumbing issue with our first-floor toilet. I called The Fair Plumber at 645 am. I believe it was Jason that answered immediately. I told him the situation. He was very understanding and was able to a crew out to us at 8 am. James and Julian came to my house at 8 am. They were extremely professional, courteous, and honest. After they assessed the situation James showed and explained to me exactly what the issue was and what my options were. I cant emphasize enough that these guys were honest and gave me a fair price on the work that needed to get done. Not only did they get done in a timely manner, but they cleaned everything up after they completed their job. They then showed me, on the snake camera, where the issue was located.     My husband and I recently bought a new house with water heaters from the 90s, so we called The Fair Plumber to get an estimate to replace them. They were super responsive, and when Manny came out to give us an estimate he was very thorough and walked us through all of our options and everything that needed to be done. When we decided to move forward with the work, they were able to come out the very next day to replace both water heaters. Manny and Jules were fast, professional, and did a great job.     I could write a novel about the plumbing issues we had in our home shortly after purchasing. We had another company come out 6 different times and tell us we needed to replace our main sewer, jet, rod at 3 times spent thousands on it and still had no working kitchen sink, and eventually no running plumbing at all. We finally made the smart decision to call The Fair Plumber, and spoke with James. He was out the next day at 7:30am, we walked through our entire home, scoped all the lines and within the hour had an answer to our problems. The next day they got all the permits and started at 7:30am within 48 hours. Rolando, Julian, and Johnny came and replaced our kitchen line, added a clean out, fixed our ejector pump, and pitched piping underneath our crawl space. They were fast, effective, and so kind. Rolando constantly kept me informed of what was going on and showed me everything they were doing. They knew their stuff. Our biggest mistake was not calling them first, James was beyond knowledgable and you could tell he was never try to sell you any work you did not need done. He was honest, and gave advice that was based off his experience and not trying to upsell. For any and all plumbing work we will need I will not call anyone else, this is the only company I will work with going forward. I wish we called them sooner!

    I’m having some issues with my hydronic heat system (boiler and radiators) and called. Jason promptly picked up. He suggested that I talk to someone who knows boiler systems and by the name of Ron and took a message. The following day Ron called back and after explaining my symptoms he gave me some good advice to try before calling him in. Our casting sink was so clogged, horrible odor and it stopped flowing, among other issues it had. Jim and Johnny detected the problem and fixed it promptly.     The Fair Plumber has been out to my house a couple of times and have fixed all my plumbing crisiss. Recently, I had Jim and Ryan over and they were extremely helpful in explaining what needed to be done to fix the leak I had and handled it like pros.     Had a leak at the base of the toilet which required a removal and reset due to a leaking wax ring. Very pleased with the work and the plumber Rolando. Very conscientious, knowledgeable,and personable. Thought the 1 1/2 hr job was a little pricey however nowadays probably not so much.     I originally called the Fair Plumber for a new sump pump with battery back and to have a new faucet installed in the basement sink. Manny came out in a timely manner and wrote up the estimate and Rob did the installation on a Saturday that I requested. Rob did a great job and is very personable. On a later date my water heater stopped working , I called the Fair Plumber and Rob came out later day and was able to start the installation of a new water heater and Manny completed the job all on that same day. It was done in a very timely manner and Rob and Manny did a great job with the installation, but most importantly they both have a great attitude, will answer any questions you may have and are very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend them.

    Used The Fair Plumber for a water leak detection. Called and they werent able to come until a couple of days, but after consulting with them, they were able to come out the very next morning to accommodate my schedule. They were professional and fair when they came out. They Took the time to explain what was going on, and what it could be. When I approve the work, they were able to find the source of the leak, and gave me a fair price to fix the problem. I know what the parts cost as Ive done some of this before when needed in the basement. However, pressed for time, and this was on the upper level of my house, I didnt want to take any chances. The work was completed to satisfaction ,and he did some small extra stuff to make sure it wouldnt happen again, which I appreciated. Overall, I was very satisfied. They are local, and I am a local resident ,which I like to support business in my community. I would use them again for future needs without hesitation.

    My family has a rental property in Elmhurst. Recently we had the sewer back up in a floor drain we call a company to take can of the issue. After 2 hours they still couldn’t get the clog open and they reconnected we replaced our sewer. We called the fair plumber for a second opinion after a hour and a half of cleaning they got it opened turns out is was just roots. Fair plumber told us we didn’t need to repair our sewer. I highly recommend the fair plumber.

    I have used The Fair Plumber for fixing non-draining showers, and most recently, replacing our water heater with a tankless system. I have been fortunate enough to work with Manny on both projects and he has been incredible.     I had a very bad problem with my water presure after I replaced my water heater I gave them a call and they found that I had 1/2 inch galvanize pipes through my hole house and that replacing it with 3/4 will solve the problem. I went with pex witch is a cheaper option compared to copper but a good product as well, George Nuñez worked very hard to find the problem and resolve it in a very profesional manner he did an amazing job and would recomend him any time.

    Hello, I would like to say thank you for the people at the Fair Plumber. We had our ejector pump go out and they sent out to guys by the name of Mathew. the people and service was great also same day, but the only reason I did give a 4 star review was because of Price. I know the price of the pump goes for 400 bucks or under, so I was disappointed that for a job that was about an hour was charged over 500 in labor and we are within 3 miles of Elmhurst. I do appreciate everything else and would recommend them in the future.

    I had these guys out twice in the past couple of months. Once for my very very slow bathroom sink and once for my slow kitchen sink. Both times I called, Ron answered and was very polite and professional. The first time around, they could not make it out to my house for a few days so Ron knocked down the price for the inconvenience. The second time around they were scheduled for the same day that I called, but ended up not being able to come due to other jobs running longer than expected. As a result, I got the price knocked down again for having to wait. That is great customer service right there! Now, on to the actual work. The first time around, for the bathroom sink, there was a pretty bad blockage so the gentleman needed to use a bigger rod but eventually got it draining no problem within 45 minutes. The second time around, the kitchen sink, they were able to clear the blockage out on the first attempt and were not there longer than a half an hour. Everything was cleaned up and put back together just like it had been when they got there. I was a very satisfied customer to say the least. I would recommend them to anyone, no doubt about it. Also, prices were very reasonable so if that is a concern, just know that they are true to their name!

    Just delivered some well deserved goodies to Fair Plumber a little overdue.Back in February we had that nasty sewer back up from one of our drains. Panicked of course we needed someone ASAP and we made arrangements with Ron to have somebody come out early the next morning. Dimiti came out and worked on our outside clean out to determine it was not our problem but that our village sewer was clogged. He had to clear the snow to get to the clean out and it was freezing out. He put the camera down there and when he saw we were clear he assessed the problem.
