    This visit primarily consisted of the diagnosis and possible future solutions of a drain leak IF it reappears. We knew it would be an expensive visit, but we had seen Cyrus in action at a neighbors house, and we appreciate the business model and fixed-price menu approach of Ray Plumbing. I would much rather have dependable and professional plumbing service than cheap and unreliable service, so Ill be going with Ray Plumbing for whatever need arises in the future.

    We have an older home and system. The furnace was working but not the thermostat. Updating the old thermostat didn’t resolve the issue but our technicians did some problem solving to locate and fix the problem. They also did the annual cleaning. Great and prompt service.

    Your plumber, Cyrus, was very informative about the heat pump hot water units. He was over to fix some leaking fittings when we both pointed out the very rusty bottom of my water tank. I asked him questions about the newer tech in water heaters and he sold me right then. Your dispatcher, Ashley, was direct and efficient. I would most definitely recommend your company.

    Called Ray Plumbing at 9:00 in the morning with an issue of no hot water - they answered the call immediately, arrived by noon the same day, fixed the issue and left feedback about the problem. The process could not have been smoother. The price was very reasonable - I will continue to use Ray Plumbing & Heating in the future. Its good to know there are small businesses like this that still take amazing care of their customers.

    Very quick to call me back and schedule service.     I had one toilet that rocked on its foundation and another one that was leaking onto the floor making the toilet unusable. I called several plumbers, only one responded and could not get me in for at least 3 weeks and would not commit to an appointment. I called Ray Plumbing and they got me in within 4 days. Paul was polite, professional and efficient having both toilets fixed in 15 minutes time. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

    We called Rays late in the evening to replace our leaking hot water heater. Their friendly customer service staff returned our call first thing in the morning and got us the next available appointment. Mike came today and had our old tank removed and our new tank installed in about an hour for a very reasonable price. He was extremely professional and friendly, and did a fantastic job. We will definitely be calling them again for future projects.

    Don’t know how to thank the people who came out from Ray’s Plumbing enough. They solved a low pressure kitchen sink issue that’s been going on for years. It was complicated by water filtration systems, and no one had been able to point me in the right direction til the visit from Ray’s this week. They solved it faster than I thought possible. They also fixed a shower faucet which had stopped working over the weekend without blinking. My life quality has truly been improved/ restored. Reasonable rate. So professional. I’m so thankful.

    In 2008 Ray Plumbing installed our System 2000. It has been very efficient, easy to maintain, and Ray Plumbing knows how to replace anything that is needed in the system. I dont know what I would have done without Ray Plumbing. Bud who schedules appointments is always pleasant and bends over backward to help in an emergency. Bud even called me one year when I forgot to schedule opening our rental property. Paul and Jeff are very knowledgeable and have dealt with difficult plumbing issues over the years in our 200-year-old house. Danny Ray, one of the owners, has come down several times to trace various lines in our house of many additions. One summer he even came when my renters at our lake house had no water and the water pipe to the lake had to be replaced. When our well pressure went out, they were there to get it up and running in a super reasonable amount of time. They are fair, reliable, and can handle any plumbing situation. Most of all they are good people!

    We needed the flaps in our toilet replaced. We had the part but didnt dare do it ourselves. Mike came within 2 days of our requesting an appt and let us watch him do the job to learn. He explained everything and taught us how our 2 flap system should work. The phantom flushing that has been going on for months has stopped!

    I had a leak I could not find. They came up and were able to find the leak very quickly. Unfortunately, they could not repair it as they do not repair appliances but he was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave me a couple of businesses I could contact for the repair. He was here when he said he would be as well. Ray Plumbing has always been very good to work with. Quick to do the work correctly, friendly, they answer all my questions. I highly recommend them.

    Very happy with their service. Appointment was postponed twice but company communicated well, was apologetic and rescheduled within a few days. Third appointment was scheduled first thing in the morning to ensure it wouldnt be postponed again. Both projects turned out to be more difficult than first imagined but were completed without delay or complaint at price originally quoted. Work was nicely done, highly recommmend.

    To put it bluntly, they saved my bacon. Furnace went out on a Saturday, I called and left a message with answering service on Sunday requesting a call ASAP on Monday. They called me at 7:30 Monday morning and had a technician at my house within the hour.It was right before a serious storm was to arrive and the tech had it figured out and fixed in no time.     I cannot say enough good things about Rays Plumbing. They are courteous, professional and do an excellent job. Plus they actually show up on time…a rare thing these days.Plus they are really good people who don’t mind taking the time to thoroughly explain the issue and findings.Recently they plumbed for a basement washer as well as, earlier this year, put a “thingy🥴” in the basement drain to prevent water coming into the basement during heavy storms . And they noticed that the water system needed to have the timing changed…and did it thus saving me a trip from the water system company.     Ray Plumbing & Heating cam to our aid when the water stopped working in the middle of a blizzard. The plumber couldnt get his truck in our drive way, but he trudged to the house with his equipment, fixed the problem and recommended a permanent solution. They returned to install the permanent solution and unclog a drain for us. They were professional, courteous, neat, and reasonably priced. What more could you ask? Call them if you need a plumber.

    My boiler started spewing black smoke. I called RAY PLUMBING. They had A technician and a helper out in about two hours. They cleaned it, changed the boiler, changd the nozzle, change the oil filter and I was back in business before I got back from my appointment. Very happy with their service.

    I contracted Ray Plumbing to install a rather complex second bathroom. Because its in the basement, the system required an upflush grinder unit to handle the waste from the toilet, vanity, and shower. All the work that was done was very professional and neat. The price was right and the system operates as I had desired. Works great! However, when we went to operate the shower for the first time, we discovered a tiny leak. I called the office and a plumber was on scene in about and hour to fix it. I would highly recommend Ray Plumbing. I especially like the fact that they stand by their work.31 July 2021 - Additional Comments - Yesterday we discovered a small leak in the plumbing in our house. It had the potential to cause massive damage if not repaired. As it was, the only way to stop it would be to shut off all water until it was fixed. I called Ray Plumbing at around 2 PM on a Friday afternoon and within 45 minutes the expert plumber arrived and rectified the problem. They are my Go To plumbing team!

    I hadnt used Rays in years, but have been very happy with their recent work on my home, especially the speed with which they rose to the occasion when the pump to my well gave out over a hot weekend. Another job took far longer than they had anticipated and they went easy on me with the final bill. The only drawback is their policy of paying on the day of service, which can create a hardship if its an expensive emergency job like the water pump.Thats the only reason I didnt give them five stars. Otherwise I have absolute confidence in their work, and theyre mighty pleasant as well.

    Guys! Gals! Listen up. Ray plumbing, friggin unreal! Sorry for the profanity. Drove up here 10 hours with kids to a broken well pump and no water on a Friday before Easter. Short of Jesus, I knew we need a miracle. I called at 3:30 and Mike came out shortly thereafter. I will have to do a separate google review for Mike but he crushed it!. Yuge job.     Ray’s Plumbing of Ellsworth, not only stepped in to finish a whole house re-plumb when another plumber let me down, the plumber assigned to my job (Paul) went above and beyond.     I thought they handled my request well. Our well pump had stopped responding and the water heater was not working. The friendly and experienced Service Tech diagnosed and fixed the problem. They were out to the house within 24 hours of my first call. Also, the scheduler called me with updates on the Techs arrival time which allowed me to stay at work as long as possible. The cost? Its like getting your car fixed once you add the labor charge to the cost of the parts, it starts at $200 goes up from there. Things like this cost money.
