    Jeremy on our initial consult was superior. Diligent about determining the root issue and when he proposed potential solutions, he offered options for aspects for us to address ourselves to save money. Got us up and running quickly.The second visit we had Kurt G and we were just as pleased. Again, got things done quickly and when we needed an extra length of cable, he offered that we could pick it up while he proceeded with the repair to save both time and money. Awesome service - quick response.

    Service crew showed up to install a humidifier on an existing furnace. They took the time to explain what they did and how the new humidifier worked. They completed the job and didnt leave any trash behind. Polite, competent and fast. I will use Comfort By Design again.

    Great!!!!! Great company. I would recommend them to anyone looking for Furnace or A/C work. They are always professional. Tom has been to our house and worked on our furnace (which is a pain in the butt). Multiple times. He even ordered extra of the part my furnace burns out. It’s a thing on my odd furnace. Call them. New outlets in the garage and backyard. Installation of a new electric garage heater. Fantastic service.

    Woke on a Friday morning to a cold house. By mid-morning had a technician at our house - needed a new furnace. By Friday afternoon had a few different options presented. Early the following Tuesday morning we had a new furnace installed. Very happy with their service and responsiveness.

    The service time response, the fact that the window of time was on time and completed in a timely manner. My repair specialist is top notch.     From a previous experience a year ago where another contractor said I needed to replace my air conditioner and Comfort by Design gave me a free second opinion that it was still okay, I had confidence that they werent trying to push me to buy something I didnt need this time. This year, the AC started tripping out the circuit breaker occasionally, so I figured it was time to replace it. They were able to come out the next week to install the new system. I also opted to replace the furnace since it was 18 years old and would probably need replacement in the next few years. Other factors in deciding to replace the furnace were an upgraded furnace would increase the efficiency of the AC and they were was a significant discount when installing both.

    We had two fireplaces that had not been serviced in 20 years. Both stopped working this year. We called Comfort by Design and they were a little backed up but were able to come out 2 weeks later. The service tech Brittany was the best. She was on time, very knowledgeable and polit. She cleaned and repaired both units and now they look and work like they are brand new!

They had Bill out the next morning who explained the problem and told us how he was going to fix it along with the cost prior to working on it. We thought the work done and the additional consult was great. Their price for work done was fair. We were very satisfied with the service.

    Might be a little pricier than other places, but they leave your home clean and well taken care of! Last year, they fixed our furnace at 1 am in -30 degree Wisconsin weather. This year they cleaned our ventilation system. We will continue to use Comforts for our heating and cooling needs!

    Called to have my furnace inspected and repaired. They were able to come out the same day - a Friday no less. I was estimated a 2p-5p window. Tech showed up at 1045a. Now, this worked out well for me as I was home all day, but I can see how this would be challenging for others to have the tech show up outside the quoted window. Also, the contact number I gave over the phone wasnt available to the tech for some reason so he couldnt call to verify the change in time was okay.The tech was very friendly and knew his stuff. Also took off his shoes while in the house which youd think is a given, but not everyone does it! While there was only one issue causing the furnace to not function, he went through the whole machine and explained what he was looking for and how to maintain the furnace better as a homeowner - which I greatly appreciated.The cost is my biggest gripe, as being charged for a full hour of time for 20 minutes of work is tough to swallow, but given how responsive and attentive they were, Im happy to pay it.Quality company that stands by their work is better to pay for over Joe Blow just because hes cheaper. Will be calling Comfort by Design again for my HVAC needs.

    Your installers Joe and Nick installed a Birchwood gas stove this last summer. The work done was absolutely above excellent. The gas run was quite long and concealment was a concern of ours when we thought of purchasing a stove. Joe and Nick spent the time necessary to hide the gas run. Also, they just could not have been any more pleasant to work with. We love the stove. We burned wood for 30 years and our exceedingly happy with the update. Comfort by Design- Thank you!

    Our AC went out on a Sunday when it was very hot outside. We called Monday morning and a repair man came over within an hour.     Had central air put into my house. They were amazing! Whole crew came in and just came in and went to town. Everyone seemed too know exactly what they were doing and were super nice.     Mike showed up on time, even earlier than the window, which was fine.I planed to have him install a wi-fi thermostat I had purchased from Xcel. Mike K determined that I did not have sufficient wiring to power the thermostat from the furnace and it would be only battery powered. Since I dont want to risk having the furnace not work when not home due to battery failure, I opted not to have the install performed.Mike did a very through job on the fireplace, even arranging the logs for maximum efficiency and clean burning. He determined due to the buildup of soot on the glass that the fireplace was not burning clean. He also checked the voltage at the fireplace to make certain that the switch was not draining current that could result in intermittent starting and stopping of the fire, which I have had a problem with in the past.He cleaned and checked the furnace thoroughly, even finding a piece of cleaning material left inside by a previous tech.Im very satisfied that he did a complete job. In these days of not feeling that you got your value and that the job was done right, in this case I feel, from my observations, that the fireplace and furnace yearly check was done in a competent way and I am a satisfied customer.

    Justin called to let me know he was on his way & arrived on time. First he asked me what kind of problem I was experiencing with my heatilator. He acknowledged my concerns, brought in some tools, put down a floor protector & took apart the heatilator, the whole time explaining what he was doing. He suggested a fan which was, in fact, a great way to better utilize the heat from the fireplace in the colder months. He showed me how to, then had me turn on the gas and light the pilot light. He cleaned the entire unit before reassembling it. He was personable, very knowledgeable and spoke highly of his employer. If I ever have a HVAC issue, Justin will be the person I call!
