    It is my pleasure to give the highest level review of Noah with Byrd Electric. If you have been in North Georgia for any length of time you will recognize how amazing and great this is: he came right when I had been promised that he would when I scheduled my appointment! No prompting, unreturned calls, or begging required! That was just the beginning of my good experience. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. He successfully completed the work I needed done, and was pleasant to deal with the entire time. Great job Noah!

    We would like to thank Byrd Electric, particularly Mike, Tyson, Landon, Ian and Nicoda, for the excellent service we received. Our requested list of services was quite large including installing multiple new fixtures, running new outlets and switches and trouble shooting some electric issues. All was done within the day, at the rate quoted. We are very satisfied with the quality of work done and professional, customer “helpful” way that it was completed. 5 stars and we would recommend this team if you have need of electrical work.

    So thankful today for Jeff & Byrd Electric Services! We needed quick response to repair a lift chair. Jeff arrived within 2 or 3 hours. He got the chair repaired quickly and then took care of a couple of other minor issues we were having in the bathroom with a vent fan and light. Jeff was friendly, quick, efficient, and respectful of our home. Thank you all!

    I contacted Byrd Electric to remove and install a new chandelier in my lake house. They showed up right on time for the appointment. Unfortunately, I was missing some parts for the instillation witch had not come in. The technician told me not to worry they would reschedule my appointment the following week when all the parts would be present. There was no additional service charge.When the group returned the second time, they were prepared and proceeded with neatness and efficiency to remove the old chandelier and hang up the new one. The job was quite difficult and somewhat complicated because the new chandelier was an antique witch had to have special wiring.. Several items of furniture had to be removed to complete the job and the technicians were gentle with the furniture and fixtures witch they replaced all back to their original spot. They were extremely courteous and neat.In todays time with all the hustle and bustle going on it was so much of a pleasure to have Byrds electrical technicians work in my home on my project that I had to write this review. I will certainly use Byrd Electric for my future electronic needs.

    From start to finish Byrd did a great job. They were on time for the appointment for the estimate and answered all my questions, They were on time for the install and did a great job. I even requested additional work for installation of GFRI outlets after they arrived - no problem. They will be my go to company for all my electrical needs.

    Tyson at Byrd electric did a great job at running the electric wire for my well to my house and installing the breaker. He also installed my pump and wired it up as well. He was very knowledgeable and very detailed. Would recommend him again for any electrical needs

    Been using Byrd for almost 3 years, they did an evaluation on my home that helped in my closing. Theyve also done great work both in and outside of my home. Their recent job had them fixing some wiring that the home manufacturer got wrong, they were in and out in less than 2 hours. Couldnt be happier with the outcome or professionalism of Byrd.

    I had such a great experiance working with this company. Ive been renovating a small cabin in Ellijay and live out of state. Its been a challenge to find good contractors that stay in touch are actually licenced/insured and are timely. My other electrician basically set up my hot tub hook up then ghosted me but kept telling me he would finish the rest of the job, finally I told him I had to find someone else... I went to google and Byrd Electric had popped up. They have a legitimate website and great reviews... Andrew the owner picked up on the first ring and was super helpful and worked with my schedule. Tyson and Landon were at the property on time, we super efficient and patient with my questions and requests. I left before they were done but did swing back by before heading out of town and they cleaned as well. They left the place cleaner than when they walked in. I just had the pleasure of talking with Nicoda who manages the office. She was also awesome. I have them coming out again to take care of some other stuff and will have my parents reach out for some electrical work they need done at their cabin as well. I can not recommend them enough. I wish they could handle my entire reno and not just the electric :)

    Called Byrd for a non-emergency outlet installation in our block wall basement. Had us on the schedule within a week. Mike was professional and on time and sweet with our talkative 3 year old. He also answered a ton of questions about our upcoming kitchen renovation and put my mind at ease. Byrd is unashamedly on the top end of the budget, but you get what you pay for- excellent, quality service. Well continue to use Byrd Electric for the remainder of our many projects.

    I would recommend Byrd Electric company as a one that puts the customer first. They were great at getting an appointment for service and the tech did come on-time. Only issue I had was that the tech seemed to take a long-time finishing (using too small of PVC - hard to get wire through) making the bill much higher than the estimate. After working with Nicoda, she took care of the issue and came to an agreement to keep both satisfied. Would have been 5 stars I believe if we had a different tech.

    Jeff & Chris helped me out earlier this week with a “rush” electrical issue. They were great! Prompt, skilled, friendly, & professional. That has always been my experience in having used Byrd on multiple occasions.Byrd is the best!Follow-up: I had a second Byrd Electric service visit a couple of weeks later. This time, Glen and Chris were on site to install multiple kitchen lights. Once again, great service and quality at a very fair price! They more than met my expectations!

    Jeff actually showed up a few days early due to a cancellation. Very professional and did a number of fixes and installs in the home. The whole house surge protector worked great this morning. Power went out, generator kicked in, and no breakers flipped. Even when the grid power returned no breakers flipped. Very happy with the work performed.

    Jeff was exceptional. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He had to trouble shoot a major problem with our new home. He found the issue, installed additional breaker, separated the lines out to handle 2 dead shorts as well as redirecting the original breaker lines.     We had a Byrd Electric come out yesterday and install two chandeliers. Not only did Jeff install them but he did a great job assembling the large, intricate chandelier. It was detailed work that took a lot of patience. He did an outstanding job! He was also clean cut, professional and extremely polite. My husband and I felt safe with him in our home, which is very important these days. This was the second time we have hired electricians from Byrd and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

We were very impressed with the installer Franks courtesy, knowledge, and ability to answer all our questions.     I recently had a malfunctioning attic fan and called Byrd Electric. They came out the same day even though it was not an emergency. I was very pleased with Jeff. Access to our attic space is very challenging due to how the attic is constructed. In addition, correcting our problem was not straightforward, but Jeff persisted and completed the job to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Byrd Electric for an if you electrical needs.

    I had an emergency, losing half the electric in my house. No heat, water, lights downstairs. I got an appt for the next morning. Jason and Yates came when expected, and were the nicest guys! I thought it was a chewed cord in the attic, but they diagnosed it as a problem in my circuit box right away. While they were here, they took care of another minor issue, adding a box where I had capped off wires, obviating the need for an extension cord across the room. I got a lesson in how to protect outdoor wires from rodents while they were at it. I can’t praise these guys enough for their professionalism, timelines and friendliness.     When ANOTHER company blew out our electric system while installing DirecTV, Byrd Electric had someone out to our cabin within a couple hours to fix the problem; and didnt even charge me a rush fee! I wish we wouldve hired Byrd Electric to do our DirecTV in the first place. When they saw what the project was, they didn’t have the necessary items to hang the chandelier so they took a trip into town to get the needed parts and returned and promptly got the light hung.     I recently moved to Ellijay and began renovating my cabin that I had just purchased. Attempting to save money I hired non licensed contractors and at 73 years of age I have to say my worse decision. They did most things wrong up to and including the electric. I was given Byrd ELectrics phone number and told they were the best. AND THEY ARE. Between Andrew and Jeff I am nearly up and running. I have complete faith in them. Jeff was polite, conscientious, and performed replacement of a chandelier and then replaced a circuit box and then installed a weather covered breaker for my septic tank.     My well and outdoor air unit ran on the same breaker. The breaker would trip everytime they cut on at the same time. I had Byrd Electric place my well breaker in my garage panel. Problem solved.     I had a mix-up with GA power. They told me last minute that I needed an inspection done or could not turn on. I called Byrd Electric and on the same day they pulled a permit for me and inspected and did some minor work to insure that power was turned on in time. I am in FL at the moment and they did this same day from a phone call. Amazing service, so friendly and very affordable. Price was less than quoted. I would recommend to anyone. Cant compliment enough.

    Let me share this excerpt from the Byrd Electric homepage, under the heading Storm Damage:We all dread when that tree falls and hits the power line to the house. We can put your meter and mast pole back up and get the power back on for you.That is exactly what happened at my home. I asked an Amicalola Electric lineman, working along the highway on a downed line, who would be the best electrician to come repair my home damage, and without hesitation he named Byrd Electric.     When we came from Texas to north Georgia to our summer cottage, we encountered some electrical issues that we had not expected and could not resolve ourselves. After doing some research online and among friends, we called Byrd and scheduled service. William called and let us know when he was on the way. When he arrived, our issues were quickly resolved. Actually, there were things we should have known or remembered (after all, we physically built our place ourselves and, although not electricians, my husband and his brother ran all our wiring before hiring a professional to complete the hookups). William was patient with explaining to us what was going on and what the solutions were. All charges were reasonable and clearly explained. We anticipate replacing two worn out porch ceiling fans soon and will definitely contact William at Byrd when we are ready to move forward and for any future service. We appreciate working with a company that is bonded, licensed, insured and that provides prompt reasonably priced professional service.
