    Our experience with the Xtra team was amazing! Justin and Jenna have built a wonderful team/family that truly went above and beyond to make our kitchen and main floor remodel a great experience. They were very collaborative throughout the full project - sharing thoughts on design picks, timing, costs and anything that came into play during the process. The final product is everything we wanted and we feel very blessed to have had them working with us to create this amazing space for our family and friends to enjoy.

    The team is incredibly polite, thoughtful, and responsive. They are easy to talk to and they listened to us and followed through (a rarity in the construction industry!). The workmanship is precise and very high quality.The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the project took twice as long as they estimated. Partly due to extreme unforeseen health circumstances of some of the team and the other part due to large gaps in work being done. We completely understand the health issues, but feel as though if there wasn’t such large gaps in the work being done, especially prior to the health issues, the schedule would not have been as delayed. This said, when we communicated our concerns with them about the delays and schedule, the team understood and responded immediately to help ensure no more delays.We personally believe the biggest factor in one’s experience with contractors is whether or not one will hire them again. We will CERTAINLY hire them again!Thank you to the entire team at XtraMile!

    Xtra Mile Construction did our entire basement, it was completely unfinished. We ended up doing a living room/gameroom. Storage room, bathroom, and bedroom. Also unrelated, but after they finished our basement we had some water damage upstairs in our home, and they did our flooring upstairs as well. Justin and Jenna are great, and their subs are great as well! They did an amazing job, top to bottom!

    Xtra mile construction was amazing. This is the best experience I have ever had with any contractor. They are professional, knowledgeable, always responsive, and they run their business with integrity. They truly care about the product they are providing and want the homeowner to love everything about it. Every employee and subcontractor was amazing. Jenna has an amazing eye for style and will always provide you with options to tailor things to your taste. She and Justin helped me make all the selections and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. The communication was excellent, they are upfront with costs and will help you stay within your budget while also making some special pieces that make it unique. I can’t say enough positive things about them. I love my basement so much. They produced a much better product than I ever could have imagined.

    Working with Jenna and Justin was awesome. They had great ideas taht helped us pull everything together. The guys that worked in our house were kind and courteous...and did great work. The completely renovated 2 bathrooms in our home.We also ended up with a water leak (completely unrelated to their work) and they jumped right in to help us recover and minimize the damage. They then were able to add this extra work into their schedule and helped us repair the damage and stay within a tight budget. Their work was much appreciated and I would highly recommend Xtra Mile.

    This review is long over due! Everyone at Xtra Mile was absolutely fantastic! Super responive! Anytime we had an question or issue, they were back with a response within the day! Justin, our project manager could not be nicer guy. A bit scatter brained at times but hes got A LOT going on. There was even a hard day during construction that we had to make some difficult decisions budget wise and he sat with us and helped us talk it out. Every sub contractor they brought in did an amazing job and was super respectful. Overall the finished product looks amazing and we loved working with Xtra Mile. They are an amazing company filled with amazing staff!

    I hired Xtra Mile after receiving several recommendations in the Elk River area that they run an excellent business, and that was 100% my experience as well. They renovated my entry way stairs/railings, built a deck, and finished/insulated our large detached garage. There were several unexpected circumstances that came up during the projects (underlying wiring issues discovered, etc) and communication about the solution options was prompt and thorough. It’s a busy time in the industry, and while there were mentions of the company & employees/sub-contractors being stretched pretty thin at times, I never once felt that they didn’t have time for my questions or to attend well to the details of my projects. My messages and calls were always returned promptly. When timelines for the different stages of the projects had to shift slightly for various reasons, I was informed and my feedback/requests were welcomed and accommodated. I am very happy with the completed projects—all 3 turned out gorgeous… far better than I had hoped—but even more importantly imo, I felt I was working with a company with very high integrity and standards. Justin and Jenna patiently mapped out and beautifully designed the project plans and were very thoughtful of my budget. Luke in the office patiently kept my ADD-brain in check with various calls and check-ins regarding project details. Will knows literally everything (actually) and went above and beyond over and over, attending to my dumb questions and concerns about my house. Ben and Jack and the several other guys that contributed to the work that was done treated my home and belongings with care and respect, and did an amazing, quality job. I was honestly dreading this renovation for several months leading up to pulling the trigger on it and was shocked at how low-stress the entire process was. Xtra Mile will be my first call for any/all home projects going forward. I highly recommend!

    This was far and away the best experience Ive had working with a contractor. The entire staff was fun to work with, punctual, and did everything they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. This particular project involved demo and re-construction of a leaky shower, repair of crumbly grout in another bathroom, and installation of a back splash in the kitchen The quality of their work was top notch. My husband and I have another home project in the works, and we will be calling them again when were ready to move on it.

    I hired Xtra Mile to take down my popcorn ceiling and replace with knockdown, along with repairing a few spots from a wall and soffit removal. They did a phenomenal job; you cannot tell where the repairs were made and the ceilings look amazing. Clearly they take pride in their work and treated my ceilings as if they were their own. Jenna (Ex. Asst) and Shawn (Project Manager) were quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. Since the completion of the project there have been a few minor touch ups that Ive had to follow up on/remind them about, but overall theyve been great to work with and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.
