Each electrician that has arrived at my home takes the time to listen to my goals and will discuss what needs to be done and also often provides wonderful ideas that I wasn’t aware of with today’s technology. Gunnar Electric is awesome I can and will confidently recommend them to anyone I know who needs electrical work done.Gunnar Electric is VERY easy to do business with. Their website is easy to use and smartphone-friendly. They offered several ways to contact them.Details: Gunnar Electric responded promptly to my request to fix a broken GFCI outlet that, once I saw the snarly wiring from a prior DIYer, clearly needed a pro to verify before making this otherwise-simple repair. Gunnar’s scheduler said that an electrician would be at my house between 10 and 2, and would call in advance. I got a call about 10-15 minutes before 10, at time BRIAN (5 stars) arrived promptly, greeted me by name and shared his name with a nice handshake. I showed him the mess. He’d already seen the pictures I’d emailed in advance showing the possible problem. He got his tools, then quickly and quietly replaced the outlet. He cleaned up any dust and debris, and was done in under 20 minutes. $165 well spent: I can trust that my house won’t burn down (at least, not due to THAT electrical DIY nightmare).

We had a great experience with this company on a simple issue we had with our sauna so we asked them back for assistance with a bigger project - they did not disappoint us! They gave us competitive prices, a knowledgeable staff and quick responses to our questions. They took the time to follow-up and explained the process from beginning to end. My overall experience was very good. I was asked about the placement of the charging station and additional details to firm up the estimate. I did my part by clearing a path for the install. The electrician (Mike) came out to my house on the designated date. He went over the install with me and then quickly completed the job. The electrical inspector came through later and said all was good. Perfect!

Gunnar has done multiple projects at our house over the last 2 years. Wonderful to work with!!!!!!! Explain what they are doing. Do it professionally. Clean up afterwards. Always polite. And the Service dept is great at getting things set up / followed up on if needed. (My biggest concern is people may read this, book up all their time, and next time when I need them for help they will be so booked I will have to wait :) Current timing was very reasonable given todays construction boom. )

Late day issue prompted a call to a number of electrical companies within my area. Gunnar was the only company able to quickly come to our home (same day) and restore our power; other companies put us on a wait list for the following day. The office people who took our call were very cordial, kind and understanding to our problem, and were able to connect us with an electrician who arrived in short order and restored power to our home. I contacted Gunnar Electric to install our Tesla Wall Charger in our garage. Our installation was tricky as our electrical panel is in our finished basement on the opposite side of the house of the garage. Terry stopped out to review the project and felt confident they could fish the cable from the panel to the unfinished utility room under the garage, with the possibility of having to put in an access hole in the finished ceiling. During the installation they did have to cut a access hole in the ceiling but decided to add an additional can light at that location (at no charge) which was a great addition and they did excellent work! From start to finish the Gunnar Electric team were very responsive, kept us up to date regarding scheduling, and were very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend them!

Amazing company!!! My elderly mother had an issue in her condo that her kitchen lights , bathroom lights and microwave were flickering and power surging. Then they all stopped working.She called another electrical contracter to fix the problem and the guy replaced 6 power outlets, 2 light switches, the dining room light and both the florescent light fixtures with LED lights in the kitchen for a cost of $3,300. the Electrician from the other company was just interested in taking advantage of her by selling her all kinds of stuff she didnt need or want. He made her feel like she was getting a bargain by telling her that it could cost her $18,000 if he had to rewire her entire condo. He spent 6 hours and put in aprox $500 worth of outlets, switches and lights.2 days after he did the work the lights went out again.We called Gunnar Electric and they had an electrician to her condo within a few hours. Within 5-10 minutes of arriving to her home he determined it was the dual 100 amp breaker outside that supplied power to her condo that was the problem. He had the problem fixed within a few hours and she had power again for an amazing price!!!!Thank you Gunnar Electric for helping my Mother. You will be highly recommended by us to everyone who needs your services!

We had them come in to hang a chandelier from a high ceiling and they did a wonderful job. Not only were they quick and efficient, but they reached out weeks ahead of time with details about how they would handle the work, and then sent one person ahead to scope the site on the day to make sure they had what they needed (scaffolding, etc.). They also rewired some switches for us, including fixing the position of a switch that had been out of whack for decades! I would happily use their services again.

During a recent snowstorm, I had a tree fall and do damage to my electric feed to the house. (Lost power/No heat) I was getting runaround from a few other contractors, only to be told maybe 48 hrs- to getting someone here.Not the case with Gunner- Great customer support and communication from the get go.Elizabeth the scheduler did some fast adjustments to their crews workloads to get a guy (Steve) to my house within two hours! He worked 2.5 hours out in the cold snow/wind - but he got the power back on! and the heats on! The folks at Gunner are Great!Greg J.
