    I called McWire about a fuse to breaker box conversion and multiple dead outlets after getting the run-around from multiple other companies. McWire was the easiest contractors I’ve ever worked with, from getting the estimate all the way to final troubleshooting on the outlets. Everyone I spoke to on the phone, and everyone who came out to do the work was not only kind but very knowledgeable. We got everything here working and up to code quickly and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs anything electrical done.

    The service guy was prompt and very knowledgeable. I have a DTE electrical plan that I’ve been paying for and never used. I was educated on what was covered and not. what I valued and appreciated the most was that he outlined what could or would happen if he assessed my outlet. Given, my outlet was plastered in the possibility of needing drywall would be evident. The transparency was just amazing. Any other company would’ve tore my wall apart and left me high and dry. He was able to repair my daughter’s outlet which hadn’t worked in a while. So appreciate this company service.

They were friendly, professional, and we were really pleased with their work. I needed a new electrical panel, breakers, and some additional work, and their pricing was affordable.     Jamie came to my house and was so nice. I had lightbulbs in a chandelier I was to afraid to get on a ladder that tall. He took care of me in ten minutes. He was extra careful not to scratch the floor and even dusted the chandelier for me when he was on the ladder. I couldnt ask for better service

    Giving McWire another 5 star review! This is our second time having them here and we are delighted. The work we needed done requires the power to be cut from 4-9 hours. I did not think to ask ahead of time and was not prepared. Had two kids home and work from home. Immediately, Kyle and Evan came up with a solution for us! They made sure to have a working outlet for us to run our internet, computer and TV on. Such a relief! Not only is McWire’s work always top grade, the customer service is unmatched!

    I found McWire Electric through Home Advisor and reached out to them for a quote on upgrading my electrical panel. Jamie was quick to respond and gave me a reasonable estimate on price so we scheduled a day for him to come out to see the project in person. Jamie arrived on time and was friendly and professional. After looking at what needed to be done Jamie walked me through what he would be doing and gave me an even better price than what he originally quoted. Jamie was never pushy and never tried to add on anything that wasn’t needed. We scheduled a day for the upgrade to be completed. The day came and the two men (really wish I could remember names) that Jamie sent out were prompt, friendly, and professional! They worked hard, were thorough, and did an excellent job!     Great prices and great service. Quick/efficient while maintaining high quality.Ive used McWire electric twice:1. When I was told by other electricians that it was impossible to run a 50 amp circuit (for my electric vehicle charger) from my house to my detached garage without pulling up my brick patio, Jamie came and immediately found a solution. While at that, his team also quickly installed a second, time-of-use DTE meter for my EV, a new outlet in the house for an office, a new fan, and updated all of the old two-prong outlets in my house. They finished all of this well before 5p.2. When I wanted to install a 120V backup generator switch but also wanted to future proof the design so that it could additionally accept a vehicle-to-grid charger (when available) that could power my entire home, Jamie found a solution for this as well. He was able to reconfigure my electric panel to ensure that all the breakers that I wanted powered by the 120V generator were in phase and able to be powered by the 120V generator, allowing me to have the 120V generator as backup even after the future V2G bidirectional charger is installed. Additionally, he helped me with multiple special solar-panel wiring related design requests that were likely slightly outside the box. As always, he listens and always has an answer to the problem when others do not. I had them install an external outlet as well, and they still finished well before 5p.I could not recommend anyone else more highly.

    Installed a 240 volt AC level 2 charger for my electric vehicle in my driveway. They came out and offered a reasonable quote and explained what needed to be done. Had no problem using wire I had already purchased. Pulled the permits from the city and set up the inspection and were on site for the inspection. Very pleased with the work they did.     What a fantastic company. They fixed some outlets and lights about 9 months ago, and the plug stopped working. They came out 2 days after I called and fixed it. They did count as, warranty and that is so out standing! Would highly recommend this company!!!!

    As a mother of two, losing any amount of electricity is incredibly stressful, especially in July on a 90+° day! We called Jamie late at night when our power blew in half the house. He walked us through possible solutions we could try over the phone. When that didn’t work, he gave us tips to make it through the night and came out first thing the following morning. Before he even got to work, his professionalism and confidence calmed me and within an hour and a half, he had diagnosed the problem and completely replaced our outside meter, restoring everything to even better condition than before. His prices are more than fair, given how pleased we were! McWire is sure to be our lifetime go-to for all electrical work.
