    We’ve used Penfield Plumbing for decades and about 2 weeks ago, I was reminded why we remain loyal customers. After locating the source of some very random knocking in our water pipes, we called Penfield Plumbing to have the problem fixed. Lou showed up right on time and after asking about the problem, went right to work.After checking several possible sources and conferring with us, Lou went ahead and fixed what we all thought was the cause of the problem. We happily paid our bill and Lou went on his way. Unfortunately, the next morning, the knocking returned. I called and explained the situation to Monica and she arranged to have Lou return the next day. Before he even returned, he had checked with the manufacturer of the part he had replaced and spoke with colleagues to try and figure out the problem. After explaining things to us, he spent a great deal of time adding an additional part, at no charge, that ultimately fixed our problem. We could not have been more grateful!In all the years we have dealt with this company and their employees they are always friendly, respectful, professional and caring. They truly want to help and they do, because they’re very knowledgeable and skilled, but they also want to be sure their customers are happy and satisfied…we always are and will always be loyal customers! Thank you Lou and Monica and all the great employees of Penfield Plumbing!

    We have been using Penfield Plumbing ever since we moved to Rochester in 2019. They are wonderful. We have had them work on small projects from installing a new garbage disposal to a more complicated shower plumbing project. So far we have had John and Bryan out to do the service calls. Both are so nice, professional, and do great quality work. Booking an appointment is very easy and often our scheduled service date gets moved up which is always appreciated. We highly recommend them.

    Im the first in my family ever to call a plumber. Ive installed toilets, sinks, faucets, hot water heaters, and waterlines, but a persistent subterranean drain pipe blockage broke me! Like my stubborn father before me I would spend days , if necessary, to do it myself. My experience with Penfield Plumbing was positive from the moment I called. Renee was very upbeat, articulate, and cheerful in processing my request for an appointment.Upon meeting Vinney the plumber in my driveway I knew it was going to be a good day! Within 5 minutes he presented as very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. As an added bonus he is downright charismatic. Vinney thoroughly explained all potential repair scenarios and possible costs. He opted for an approach that rectified the problem and saved me some money by modifying his original plan of attack. In addition, he left my wife and I with several helpful hints that will likely stave off future drainpipe obstructions.Given my advancing age I just might contact Penfield Plumbing for my next toilet installation.PS God bless all essential workers and small businesses everywhere!!

    We called yesterday (4/22) morning after discovering a leak under our kitchen sink. Penfield Plumbing told us they could come the following day but if anything came up they would come earlier. They ended up coming 3 1/2 hours after we called (this was not an emergency as the leak stopped once we stopped using the sink). Fortunately for us the issue for us was a simple fix as the Penfield Plumbing employee discovered a pip loose. He spent about 5 minutes total at our home and fixed the problem.But the most amazing part was he did not charge us anything.We have used Penfield Plumbing in the past and have always been happy with their service and this was a very pleasant surprise.

    We had an issue with our sump pump and called Penfield Plumbing the first thing Monday morning. A service technician, Jesse Linenbroker was at our house by 10:00 AM and promptly dealt with the problem. He also quickly agreed to look at and remedy a downspout issue that was dumping water along the foundation. He was courteous, very competent and clearly customer oriented. We have relied on Penfield Plumbing Plumbing for many years and recommend them highly.

    Amazing service. The gave us a quote the same day we called and was able to,come back the next day to install. They had some installation issues ( not their fault, old house) so they changed the gas water heater to a electric one sane day, ran the electrical lines as well. They had open communication and excellent techs.we spoke to a few different people at the company throughout the day, and everyone we spoke to was helpful and aware of the services being performed. We will be reusing thier services and referring to anyone we know!

Brian cleared a troublesome drain pipe today, taking great care at every step of the process to check that the blockage was cleared and to explain what he had done and why.     The builder improperly installed a shower mixing valve 20 years ago when our townhouse was built for the previous owner. The valve was difficult to move and difficult to adjust. Wayne and Brandon of Penfield Plumbing took the time to understand the problem, recommend the proper replacement parts, and install them. The installation/replacement took half the time and one-tenth of the disruption that I expected. Amazing job! Experts! Highly recommend this company!

    I am sorry that this email of appreciation has taken so long for you to receive. I just want to thank you for sending Brian to my home to replace a PRV that was causing a weird sound in the house. After a few minutes Brian knew exactly what the issue was and replaced the old PRV with a new one. Brian worked very efficiently and quickly and left the work area clean. Not only was the sound gone, but the water pressure was a lot stronger. I would also like to thank Penfield Pluming for their promptness and professionalism in resolving the situation. I would highly recommend your services for the work that was done.

    I cannot say enough good things about Penfield Plumbing. Just before Christmas (of course) our kitchen piping was solidly blocked for 25 feet. Jesse and David went out of their way to make sure we had our kitchen available for Christmas. And even though the quote was under estimated based on the type of blockage we had, Penfield Plumbing stood by their original quote. Again, this company and their employees are fantastic!

    I had a bathtub drain pipe leaking and I called them, they sent Anthony & Jordan out the same day. They gave me the estimate to replace the tub drain and fittings which I thought was a very good price. they did the work and left the work area very clean when they left. they both put shoe covers on to make sure the floors and rugs did not get dirty, and they were very polite and explained everything to me. No doubt I will call them for any plumbing problems I would need repaired

    Absolutely a very friendly technician when he comes to the house to fix a problem. This particular time it was the sewage pump injector was not working and water was beginning to spill out of it behind where our bathroom and as well as through the floor and around a toilet itself so I turned the water off and we called Penfield plumbing and heating because they are who installed this sewage injector. they came and explained to us that if in fact the sewage injector which was still covered under warranty or somehow broken or defective that they would in fact replace it at no cost, however if it was just something that got clogged in the sewage injector pump and it just needs to be unclogged and cleaned out and reset then there would be a cost which was quite substantial almost $400. so all in all completely satisfied I would say five even six stars as far as service the only reason I took a star away was due to the extensive cost that comes along with plumbing.

    Aaron did a great job on my new water heater. He arrived at my house at 830 and was done by noon and there were a few added items besides the water heater. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions. I was impressed and if the owner sees this please commend Aaron on his work. Thanks so much guys im sure I will be calling you again in the future.

    Had a blocked sewer line. Jessie from Penfield Plumbing came out with camera, found the blocked/damaged line outside of house. They dug a large hole by hand, found and replaced the sewer connection, in January, with 2 foot of snow on the ground. To boot, the price was reasonable. 5 Stars.

    Had been using this company for 15 years now (3 houses - 5 or more visits from them). Used this company to do few plumbing work (replacing bath tub valve, water heater, etc...) recently (moved into a new house 3 months ago). Never once was disappointed with them but always happy with their service and prices. Always exceeded my expectations and will always use this company for all plumbing needs in the future.

    Our sewer pipes were leaking in the basement and our house became unlivable, so we got a plumber who ignored our calls for 5 days eventually sent us an estimate over $3,500. We called Penfield Plumbing instead and they were at our house in 30 minutes, were professional, told us exactly what the problem was and gave us a fair and reasonable estimate. Steve fully resolved the problem kindly and professionally. It was such a relief after the horrible experience we had with the first company. We will be going to Penfield Plumbing with any future problem!! A reliable and reasonable plumber is such an important thing to have. Also, their office staff was incredibly helpful and professional. A special shoutout to Monica for professionally and efficiently helping us. She relieved our stress!

    I would recommend this place to anyone they came in much cheaper than anybody else and their service was 100% professional I need a sewer line fixed they didnt have the parts readily available at that time but they were back within 3 days to fix the problem couldnt ask for any better service than that
