Matt and his crew are amazing! Shiplap and trim installed. It was done so perfectly. They provided that 5 star experience that we expected. The job was completed faster then expected, communication was great, they explained when and what was being done at all times, provided high quality beautiful work with keeping the house clean! We hold our company to high expectations and expect that out of other companies and you don’t always get it, but we got it with MCW! I will definitely be doing work with them in the future!

I am one happy customer! I live in an old house built in 1912, and I had an indoor stair step on the main staircase that was deeply split and unsafe. The step was in a difficult place as it was just where the bottom banister post sat. Matt came from MCW Carpentry assessed the job. He joined two pieces of white oak and it was seamless, and he matched the stain perfectly to the original steps. NO mess and completely cleaned up by the time I got home from work. He and his workman did a beautiful job and the step is probably the most solid thing in the house. We are talking about craftsmanship here that is becoming hard to find. I HIGHLY recommend Matt and MCW Carpentry if you want a job done right!

Highly recommended! Exceptional workmanship, knowledge, and experience! We live in a 100+ year old home. MCW restored and repaired a pair of large double vestibule entry doors and an old large door in our hallway. The doors were in rough shape with sections of wood missing and were not closing or functioning properly. They sanded, repaired, refinished the doors, installed new hardware, and re-hung the doors so they now function again! They also installed new weather stripping to the 100+ year old doors so it is now warm in our hallway!

MCW did a complete rebuild of our Victorian era porch after the job done just a few years prior by a different carpenter fell apart. The contrast in quality is not only remarkable but the level of professionalism brought to the job each and every day was something I had never experienced before.QUALITY: Top notch. They deliver what they say theyre going to, and they revisit what they did to see how your specific project is adapting to its environment.COMMUNICATION: They fill you in during the process with full transparency if you wish so you can know exactly whats going on. They dont just fill in the blanks - If you didnt specify something, they ask. Theyre also not afraid to make suggestions, which with all their experience (especially historical houses) goes a long way to making sure you get what you want even if you dont know exactly how to get it.PUNCTUALITY: 5/5 nothing else to say. If they say theyre going to be there at a certain time you can expect them there.PROFESSIONALISM: Theyre friendly, not loud, not dirty, clean up after themselves when done everyday. If they give you an estimate you can expect that estimate to be extremely close to actual end cost.OVERALL: Literally some of the best guys Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I will continue to use MCW without hesitation and have already recommended them to family and friends.Thanks guys

I contacted MCW (Matt) for a quote on a repair job. He was not only able to diagnose what the problem was based on a photo, he was able to provide me with an estimate including the timeframe needed to complete the job. Matt scheduled an on-site visit to make sure that the damage wasnt more extensive than what was shown in the photo and schedule an appointment the following week. Although the appointment has to be rescheduled --based on a prior commitment, he promptly notified me when the conflict arose. He and his associated (James) arrived promptly as scheduled. They were both courteous and professional. After James finished the job and answered all of my questions, Matt returned to make sure the job was completed as explained. Although this was a small project, they did a great job and I will definitely consider them on my next project --building out a header and install a set of interior doors.

I hired Matt and his company to finish a bathroom remodel that another company never finished. They did a wonderful job and very quickly. I am planning on having more work done at my home and the only place I will go to MCW Carpentry .
