    Yesterday, we suddenly experienced a deluge of water gushing from the ceiling in our basement, but had no idea where it was coming from. We shut off the water, which didnā€™t alleviate the issue, and immediately contacted Farmington Valley Plumbing, a highly recommended service suggested by our daughter. I am soooo grateful that we did! They responded within minutes, identified a clogged pipe, and resolved the issue, restoring normalcy all within a couple of hours. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Brian, Jared and their office staff for the swift response and fair pricing!

    What a great experience! Jen was great with scheduling and as a woman, I appreciated getting a text with my plumberā€™s name and photo prior to arrival! Keith was prompt, polite, and professional. He had to cut out my old faucet and the replacement looks amazing! 10/10!     Had a Blue Ocean shower panel unit installed by plumber Scott Martin. Courteous, personable, answered all my questions during the process. However, an issue with the unit arose shortly after Scott left. I called the manufacturer, and they told me how to fix it on my own. I proceeded to do so but just wanted a plumber to confirm what I did was satisfactory. Scott came back a week later to check and confirmā€” again, answering and addressing any questions I had. Overall, a positive experience with FVPā€¦

    Farmington Valley Plumbing is always excellent! Dan was great today and fixed the leak in my kitchen sink quickly and installed a new faucet for me- everything looks great. He even left frisbees for the dogs. Iā€™ve been using Farmington Valley for a few years now and although plumbing emergencies are a pain they are so great to work with, so it always makes it much easier.

They quickly found our water supply valves to shut off and make repairs in a timely manner.     We just got new washer and dryer but the old washer supply line was rusted on to the isolation valve and would not come off. Provided pricing upfront (no surprises) and seemed to be genuinely interested in making sure that I was satisfied when the job was completed.The tech also offered less costly solutions to a few of the issues of concern.     I always have a great experience with Farmington Valley Plumbing!! Itā€™s a professional job, done right with care and courtesy from the scheduling to the work completion. Making the appointment was fast and easy. I got a reminder text for the work appt and a text with the technicianā€™s picture and information so I know exactly when and who to expect. Zachary did an awesome job on our powder room vanity hookup and faucet install. Everything looks great and works perfectly. He cleaned everything up, removed the refuse and made sure I had the items I needed to keep after the install. Will continue to reply on Farmington Valley Plumbing in the future.

    The service provided by FVP is unmatched. I explained my issue and they deemed it to be an emergency and rearranged their schedule that morning to visit my home.     My 30 yr old garbage disposal finally gave out. Called multiple plumbers/handymen and no one got back to me. Contacted Farmington Valley Plumbing and they called me back very quickly, scheduled an appt for 2 days later. Zach was very knowledgeable and courteous. He showed up within the time window and took 2 hrs to uninstall the old garbage disposal and install the new one. Pricing was a bit steep. Ended up paying almost $600 when all was said and done, but it was probably worth it. The old garbage disposal was an absolute BEAST. It might have weighed 25-30lbs. Zach took the old one away and I shouldnā€™t have to worry about this ever again.

    Zach came out and did a great job for us. He took the time to explain what he was diagnosing, what he would like to do to fix the issue and asked for permission. He wasnā€™t pushing anything extra on us. We had been having water pressure issues for years that no other plumber was able to assess accurately. Zach made a couple recommendations and within a couple hours I couldnt believe the results. The water pressure is amazing now. Would highly recommend Zach and FVP to anyone!

Without water, Zach quickly came up with a solution that was both very cost effective and appropriate for the situation. His ability to execute this all within a few hours was greatly appreciated!     10/5/24 - I canā€™t even begin to say how impressed I am with this company. I had an emergency this morning (probably not nearly as bad as some plumbing emergencies, but terribly difficult for me especially as I was trying to manage caring for my puppy follow surgery yesterday). I called Farmington Valley Plumbing and got the recording saying they were closed (itā€™s Saturday), but I could text ā€œemergencyā€ to the number they provided. Thatā€™s what I did along with an explanation of what was going on. I got an immediate text back saying they would try to dispatch somebody and I would get a phone call shortly. Fortunately for me, when they realized that there was nobody else at the company available to come today, Jen, the office manager, called me and said that her husband, one of the owners, would come out. Not only that, but she went the extra mile and said that she, too, would come as well because she knew from my initial text and then from my sobbing on the phone that I could really use some additional moral support. Once here, Eric did what was necessary to remedy the immediate concern in a timely manner to at least get me through the weekend until they can get somebody else out to finish the job. Itā€™s not that he was unwilling to do additional work, but rather this is not a company that is trying to run up a customerā€™s bill with double time rates on a weekend just to put more money in their pockets. I highly recommend them!!! So grateful for my experience with a company that truly cares about its customers!!10/8/24 - I just had Zach Hacia out to finish the job that Eric started for me on Saturday. He was awesome!! So punctual, professional, polite, thorough, and efficient. Zach actually finished the repairs sooner than I expected. He and I did a walk through before he started working which made me feel comfortable that we were on the same page and that it was the work that I had discussed with Eric. Then we did another one at the end of the job so I could see everything he did. I felt confident with him working downstairs in both the kitchen and basement while I was in my 2nd story home office working. I tend to be a hoverer during contractor appointments, but didnt feel the need to do that with Zach. Again, all around very impressed!!

    Technician Scott Martin came and examined the source of my leaky ceiling, and explained to me the main cause and what needs to be done and what measures I have to do to avoid the issue. There was nothing major damage to repair and Scott assured me that if I do things he advised my issues should be avoided. He was very meticulous and answered all questions I have. He checked for every possible source of leak; assured me pipes are well and good. I will use this company again for future service. Scott is the best and very patient and thorough.

    Service was great. Keith was polite, friendly, well skilled and not a pushy plumber. It was determined I needed to replace my faucet vs just one part, which once explained to me, made perfect sense. He also found the shut off valve was frozen and I could either have him turn the water off to the house while he did the work or he could replace that as well. I told him to replace it while he was here vs me selecting to do it halfway. I felt the total cost for the work done was fair.9/30/24My kitchen sink was not draining. I called this morning and they were able to schedule an apt for me today. Also, the faucet they installed in march, had been dropping. Zach came out, turned out I needed a new disposal, which he was able to install and they replaced my dripping faucet, under warranty.10/11/24Dan came out to replace the old pipes ilfrom my kitchen sink. Unfortunately, our water heater became a water fountain overnight, and they came out and gave a temporary fix so we could access water in the taps. The next day, Scott and Lex arrived to install a new water heater and we are now back in business! The price was fair, the workers polite and effective. I appreciate the text sent when they are heading over, including a photo of the technician, so you know who to look for. Scott even provided tips on maintenance and energy savings. FVP will be our first call the next time we need a plumber.

    We noticed that the water pressure in our house was dropping three days before we were supposed to leave on vacation. I called Farmington Valley at 7 oā€™clock in the morning. Zach and Lex were here at 8. They diagnose the problem got the parts and spent just over seven hours on the hottest day of the year so far replacing our well pump and holding tank. It was a miserable day for working outside, but they both did amazing work with very positive attitudes!Zach was extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and discussed it with us.     Im very happy with FVP! He installed a new standard Delta kitchen faucet and replaced the 3 shut off valves under the sink. They charged over $700! That seems excessive. I feel that $500 would have been more than fair. They did tell me the price up front for labor which $85 plus 175 per hour. (Took 1.75 hr, rounded up). Though I didnt know how long it would take them.I would urge people reading this to call other plumbers to get an understanding of the market price before hiring anyone. I should have. If this is truly the market then I have no problem with them, but I should have checked....

Farmington Valley Plumbing sent Nolan and his apprentice out today and got me taken care of! They were clean, efficient, and even made sure we were aware of an issue with our flooring unrelated to the plumbing that we would never have known about otherwise! Thank you team!!

    Farmington Valley Plumbing is reliable and professional. They have done significant work at our house. Keith F. did precision work in a tight spot and the new piping installed with obvious craftmanship. Keith also diagnosed an issue with the pipes to the washer and installed a great cost effective fix. Also took the time to review some longer term stuff which Ill have Farmington do.     Ive lived in this 180 year old house for over 24 years and have used numerous plumbers for various jobs. Some of the jobs performed were good and some not so good. Brian from Farmington Valley Plumbers was definitely worth having do repairs. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to make the needed repairs quickly and efficiently.     We had an early morning plumbing emergency. All the pipes started ā€œhammeringā€ at a deafening pitch. We had no idea what was happening and it sounded like something was going to blow. We got the pets out of the house and called 911. After the fire department showed up and identified the problem, I tried our usual plumber & several ā€œ24-Hour Emergency Plumbersā€. Could not get an answer. Got a recommendation for Farmington Valley Plumbers and Eric was here inside of 15 minutes. The other plumbers ( if they returned the call at all) called back after both the fire department and Eric had already been here and solved the problem. Deb was who answered my call and was very understanding, soothing and wasted no time dispatching Eric. Eric is the friendliest, most knowledgeable and consummate professional I have ever met. We have some upcoming repairs scheduled with Farmington Valley Plumbers. Needless to say, we will be trusting all our future plumbing issues to Farmington Valley Plumbers.

    I informed the scheduler of the problem. The technician didnt have the correct tool for the job upon arrival and remained on the clock while he drove back to get it. This added an hour to the bill. Overall happy with end product but would have been happier if he showed up with correct tools the first time.
