I asked for a custom Adirondack chair to give my boyfriend as a birthday gift. Shane made a masterpiece. He was so easy to work with and had great recommendations to help the design look even better than I imagined. The chair is expertly made and comfortable. He even shipped it across the country so that it was easy for us to assemble. Highly recommend.

Shane built 7 custom modern adirondack chairs (4 adult, 3 kids). It was made from pine and charred using the Shou Sugi Ban method, a process used to make the wood fire retardant as well as resistant to rot, insects, and decay - and finished with australian timber oil to prevent it from staining your clothes. Pretty amazing results and great communication throughout!

I own an event rental company and hired Shane to make some specialty pieces to rent for events and weddings. We started out with two custom live edge tables that I had envisioned (which have been extremely popular!!) He even let me come pick out the slab of wood I wanted! Since then, he has made several custom pieces for me that our clients are loving. He is extremely professional, responsive, attentive to detail and extremely passionate about his work. Many more projects in store for our business and Lost Mountain!

Shane at Lost Mountain Woodcraft is extremely talented !! He has made several pieces for me! I love my ax throwing target and hammerschlaggan stump game. They are always the hit of the party! He also made me a lift top pine and birch table. That will be a family heirloom!!!Shane also made me a recycling bin for my kitchen at my lakehouse!! Wow! Us that a MASTERPIECE! 5 STARS FOR LOST MOUNTAIN WOODCRAFT!!

I had Shanesaw make an axe throwing target for my son as a gift for his 20th birthday! It is absolutely beautiful! He also accommodated his schedule to deliver to me for my son’s birthday, and mind you I did not give him much advance notice! He also included the 6 axes that we needed! If everything in life was as easy as it was dealing with Shane to have this built….life would be easy! Thank you so much!!!

Great craftsman and easy to work with. He did some custom wood railings for me. I told him to be creative and it’s amazing. Well built, unique and very cool. My only hesitancy in a 5 star rating is he may get too busy to get for my next project. Highly recommended.

I envisioned the perfect coffee table for my living room, but couldn’t find anything online that I liked. I reached out to Shane, and from the very beginning, he was by my side- designing it, picking out the type of wood, legs, all of it. I appreciated all of his expertise and suggestions. My coffee table turned out perfectly, just how I had envisioned it. I couldn’t recommend Shane and Lost Mountain Woodcraft enough. If you want it done right and to match your imagination, Lost Mountain is the way to go!
