    Our builder hired Ram Jack to install helical piles to resolve a sinking issue we were having on our covered porch. The piles were a good solution but was discovered years later not to fully resolve the issue. Chuck came out and assessed the potential cause of cracking tiles and recommended poly foam injections. Since the original work of installing the piles was under warranty, Ram Jack agreed to cover the injections at no charge since the piles didnt resolve our problem long term. Ricky and Anthony who did the poly fill work were knowledgable, professional, and thoughtful and they clearly cared about doing an exceptional job. I highly recommend Ram Jack and their staff - Chuck, Ricky and Anthony. They were great to work with, very knowledgable, responsive and most importantly they showed they cared. Other foundation companies that I contacted did not give me this same level of confidence. Pictures are of the old tile and the new tile being installed (not by Ram Jack).

    Does your home’s foundation have sagging problems and look old? Does it have wrinkles and cracks and could it use a lift? Mine did and I found the perfect polyurethane foam surgeon to make it look young again.Rick from Ram Jack expertly injected the foam into the settling areas of my front porch. I watched my porch lift up and large cracks disappeared like magic!What I appreciated about Rick was his professional manner and how he explained the job to me before he started working. He was also really nice!If you notice any sagging or drooping around your place I highly recommend Ram Jack. You home will definitely look younger!

    We were extremely happy with Gabriel and Ram Jack. Everyone was completely professional from the customer service rep we first spoke with, then Roger who came out to make recommendations and give us an estimate to the day of the install. We were always kept informed of the next step. The estimate was more than reasonable and they worked to find us the best option for us at the least cost. The pictures show that the work was done with wonderful success. We had a sinking slab and Gabriel and his crew were able to completely close the gap. Thanks again!

    I called Ram Jack to look at an exterior wall that was sagging on my home. Originally, I called Southeast Foundation to have the same work evaluated and fixed but, they were inexperienced and unable to fix the sagging wall after they told me they could fix the wall. When I called Ram Jack they set an appointment quickly and had Ed come evaluate my wall. Ed was professional, timely, and to the point about how to fix my wall. Within two weeks Ram Jack fixed my exterior wall. The work looks great and is guaranteed for life. I would highly recommend Ram Jack for your foundation solution needs, they are by far the best company I have communicated with and used.

    Quick and painless experience with Gabriels top guys, Rick and Brandon. He was extremely eager to hop to it and get it right for a couple of concrete sidewalk slabs I had on a commercial property. Although years of neglect had caused the sections to tilt and create a trip hazard, Rick had three sections fixed up in 1/2 a day!There was a level of professional courtesy from the time I called in for the estimate to the time I walked away from the amazing job these guys did.We will be calling RamJack of Raleigh/Durham again!

    When Dennis Kline came by at the end of the Ram Jack foundation support and dehumidifier/sump pump job for the final inspection, he said, “Don’t ever hesitate to call if you need anything.”I thought, well, that sounds nice, but we’re paid up and who knows how much trouble I’d have getting him out here again.All these months later, I had a question about a moist area. He came out and followed me into that wicked dirt crawl space that’s so hard to navigate. And he identified the problem. An original cast iron pipe below the kitchen sink had started leaking. Sump pump was working just fine. It’s a plumbing problem. Then he adjusted the dehumidifier.He said it again. “Don’t hesitate to call.” I know he means it! Thank you Dennis.

    Words alone cannot express my appreciation for the excellent visit by Chuck Lloyd from Ram Jack. I was certain I had a foundation issue with my front porch, but within just a few minutes of Chuck arriving, he assured me it was not a settling foundation. He suggested what I could do myself to correct the issue. Should that correction not solve it, then he could return and would have a solution that did require their services. WOW! His honesty and professionalism will certainly bring me back to Ram Jack for any further work I might require.

    I called Ram Jack for a consultation on my house, which they had previously worked on for a former owner. Dennis Kline arrived promptly, was very helpful, didnt try to upsell me, answered all my questions, and was a pleasure to work with. He adjusted a few piers free of charge while on the property for the consult to save me the service fee. He quoted me a small amount of work for a reasonable price relative to what I was expecting to need. I will definitely be calling them back if I need any additional foundation work.

    We had problems with doors not closing properly in our house. Chuck came by to determine an action plan and give me an estimate. They ended up installing adjustable lifts in my crawl space to lift the interior foundation. The whole process was solid and efficient. Further settling of our foundation occurred as expected, and Chuck has come out to adjust the lifts for no additional charge. Hes always friendly and honest, and Im very pleased with the quality of the work.

    Update 1/23/24: Dennis made a second visit to our home, went under our house, used his laser and did all that he could to double check as to the integrity of our foundation, piers etc as we anticipate replacing the adjoining sidewalk. We wanted to make sure that we did not have amy additional problems to consider where the sidewalk joins the house and our front steps. If/when we need foundation services we will absolitley choose RamJack primarily due to our excellent experience with Dennis. Previously: Dennis Kline was in time, professional, warm, friendly and thorough. He listened attentively to our concerns, was thorough in an assessment of our cracked brick in front and let us know that the brick was simply a curtain wall, that the foundation of the house was supported properly under the house with piers, and that nothing major needed to be done at this time. He told us how to keep an eye on the crack and how they would fix issues if/when they were to become problematic. We will absolutley call him back at a later time if need be.

    Dennis Kline came out to check on some settling of our house. He did a complete check under the house & explained to us the reasons for a few minor cracks we were seeing on our indoor walls. Thank goodness they were all cosmetic with no structural issues. We appreciate Dennis being honest & not trying to sell us a service we didn’t need. If we have a need for anything in the future we will certainly not hesitate to call him.

    My husband and I are selling a home that needed foundation work. Chuck Lloyd was the lead for the team. He and the RamJack team worked with the structural engineer to assure that the repairs were done to the engineers specifications. Work was done in a timely manner. Post inspection by the structural engineer that the work was done in line with the engineers recommendations. In addition, should the buyers realtor have questions regarding the repairs, Mr Lloyd was open to answering the questions should they wish to contact him. I would definitely recommend Ram Jack.

    Ramjack installed their jacks on all the piers under my house. I had significant settling issues that was causing issues on the interior of my home. Their product is excellent in that it lets you recover much of the sagging that may have already happened. Also, they provide pretty much lifetime service for adjusting the jacks as needed if additional settling takes place. Chuck was my service rep - he is extremely responsive and always encourages me to call if I have any issues - even though there is no charge. They are a company that really stands behind their product and their work. I had my work done 4 years ago and they are still responsive as if I was a new customer.

    From the moment I first called Ram Jack of Durham all the way through the project I found Ram Jack personnel to be 100% professional and eager to ensure that I way absolutely happy with their work.     We had Ram Jack come out to assess some settling we had, along with a moisture issue in our crawlspace. Dennis did our initial evaluation and he was excellent, all the work that was recommended was needed and he didnt use any scare tactics which was something we experienced while getting quotes from other companies. The quote for the work beat the other companies by a landslide as well. We got a pillar put in to correct some settling, along with a dehumidifier and our vents sealed and we couldnt be happier with the work. They were friendly, quick, and affordable. Thank you!

    Ok, so I was reading through reviews and found one that someone else wrote that I agree completely with. I have worked with Chuck Lloyd at Ram Jack for many years. He has done a wonderful job keeping the house level. With jack screws on the pilings he can re-level the house in minutes. Chuck is easy to contact, responds quickly and is on time for visits to the house. I give him 5 stars. It is so true. This clay soil in the area is so shifty and the adjustable brackets make it so quick and painless for Chuck to come by and adjust them.

    Wow! Ram Jack was incredible! Chuck Lloyd was beyond helpful and took extra time to explain everything thoroughly to me! He was so understanding of the troubles that we were having within the foundation of our house and was sure to spend adequate time attending to the problem! From previous experience, when someone comes out to give you a quote, they tend to push the service HARD, not Ram Jack. Ram Jack and Chuck are more like a friend coming out to give you advice and educate you on your options for fixing the problems! We will absolutely be calling Ram Jack anytime we need their services.     This company did an amazing job. We had bouncy floors in our house and issues in our crawl space. They installed beams, piers, vapor barrier, sealed our crawl space, put in a french drain, a dehumidifier and a sump pump. The process was easy and well done. Dennis did an amazing job on the project. I highly recommend this company for your needs.

    My sales consultant, Roger Roten, was by far the best sales consultant of the four we interviewed for a basement reinforcement project. His opinions were also the most accurate to the later engineering report we received from a structural engineering inspection.Roger is entirely honest and helpful. He also did the most in terms of measuring our walls, bowing, and cracks, etc., so his quote and prescription was precise. He did not oversell or suggest what we did not need.For carbon fiber strips, they were also the cheapest by over $100 per strip. Carbon fiber strips are widely used to reinforce basement walls, and they are somewhat of a commodity now. Assuming youre dealing with a good quality contractor, price is a fine way to select who you get to do the job. Definitely have Ram Jack out.They do not have as many waterproofing options as the top 2 companies we interviewed, but they hang out fine with the runners up.Definitely, definitely have Ram Jack out, and ask for Roger

    I noticed that our chimney had started to lean away from our house. Knowing Ram Jacks reputation, they were my first call. Nina got us an appointment very quickly for an inspection and quote. Dennis was on time, knowledgeable and ready with a solution. The installation team was 1st class. Our chimney had HUGE footings, the team had to jackhammer away much more material than initially planned, but the footing was no match for their expertise and determination. Although not guaranteed, the amazing team was able to persuade our 25 year old chimney to resume its previous place against our home. The chimney is now stabilized and ready for a little caulk and paint. We could not be more pleased with Ram Jack.

    I am in charge of maintenance and facilities at a church. We were having significant basement flooding problems. I had received quotes from several different companies.     Note: we didnt use their service, so this review is based on limited interaction with the company. I had been told our house had an issue with its foundation. Fortunately, I reached out to Ram Jack to look at the issue. Their salesman did an extremely thorough inspection of our foundation and provided explanations for the concerns we had that indicated no current issue with the house. It was clearly evident the salesman had extensive experience and knew what he wss talking about. The honesty and transparency were extremely refreshing. Due to that experience I would recommend them to those with a foundation issue.

    House had a flooring/wall issue caused by unequal settling over last 30 years. Ram Jack Durham did an inspection and recommended a support girder under a section of flooring and the addition of adjustable brackets be added to 7 columns supporting the main girder. This was done on 12/16/20. The weather was horrible but the crew sent by RJ/D was great. The group leader, Igmer, explained what they were going to do and then put his team to work. He kept the team working and personally handled the floor leveling process. When through, he pointed out a few areas to show improvements. He also advised us to schedule a follow up inspection in 3 months.I am very impressed with the professionalism and good customer service demonstrated by this company and work crew.

    I had them out to look at what I thought was a foundation issue. One company quoted me 12K, another 8k. Chuck, Ram Jacks rep, said he didnt think I needed any work done and that I was dealing with normal settling/shifting. He saw that I was unsure of what to do so he gave me the name of a civil engineer who could give me an unbiased opinion. The engineer came out, inspected the house & agreed with Chuck: No repairs needed. The engineer cost just $300 vs. at least $8k I would have spent on foundation repairs. Ram Jack hasnt done any work for me but I trust them, and especially Chuck, to give honest advice.

    Rick and Brandon did a great job for us today! Our large concrete slab porch had sunk almost 4 inches. A 2-3 hour job turned into 5 because they took their time and were so cautious to keep from getting cracks as the porch rose. They explained everything and didn’t mind having an audience. Explained the process and make sure I understood what he was going to do. The process was really quick and patio is back to where it was, level. Great systems and people.     I really appreciate the visit from Dennis Kline of the Ram Jack company. I sought the visitation due to cracks on the walls at the doors of a few rooms at my home. Dennis called in advance and arrived on time. He assessed the walls and gave valuable insight as we toured the home. Once Dennis went under the home into the crawlspace to view the structure ,he let me know the probable cause of the issues inside the home. He was very open, honest, and professional. Although Ram Jack would be unable to immediately assist with the issues, I had a clear understanding of what was required to resolve my issues. I appreciated the lack of a lengthy and unnecessary sales pitch and was pointed in the proper direction to start a resolution. I would recommend Ram Jack to any and everyone who requires an open and honest assessment for possible foundation issues and will definitely forward my experience to anyone that I encounter who may need an assessment.     Ram Jack has been doing foundation work on my campus (165 acres) for many years. Our area is very soft with a lot of ground water. Not only have they stabilized foundations but they have a guy that is great with sunken concrete The process is quick, easy, and straight forward. The gentleman that handles the pressure grouting for sunken areas, Gabriel Knutson, and his helper were responsive, helpful, polite, and thorough.

    Today was our scheduled appointment which was confirmed a day prior. Our rep was Chad Carte. Not only did he arrive a little early but he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very thorough. He explained everything he was doing. He was very patient and listened to my concerns. He went into the crawlspace and checked everything. I could hear him moving around and checking several areas. After a discussion, I remembered something I forgot to put on the order, but he took the time to look at the extra item; this required him to go back under the house. He went above and beyond. Although he found no structural issues to report, I will use him and RamJack in the future if needed. No question about it.

    RAMJACK, Gabriel Knutson and team completed work on my house today. I manage Commercial Construction for my employer and this group is by far the most professional Ive met.Others in the same industry locally declined to quote this work. Gabriel took me through their process, explained the possible outcomes, and took on additional work he thought he could succeed in completed. Not surprisingly the work completed exceeded my expectations. My issues were resolved (raised steps and driveway), the site conditions stabilized through the use of the product, and as a customer I am nothing but excited and pleased.
