10/10 excellent service! Steve and Riley showed up ahead of schedule. They were able to help us get the EV charger installed, move and mount the TV in our living room and it all came in under the estimate they initially gave us and they were able to do all the work same day. Nice, thorough work and clean up after. All future electric services will be going through Tejas Electric.

Let me tell you about Tejas Electric.They had the audacity to answer my phone call promptly and I got to speak with a lovely woman who got me setup with an appointment right away to come take a look at my electric needs.Then, this gentleman, Bo, had the nerve to show up at my house, on-time, to hear what kind of work I was needing done. In this case I needed a 240v plug added in my garage to hookup an electric heater for my early morning workouts.After listening intently to my needs, Bo then in a matter of seconds presented me with a firm quote on the work. He gave me the option of him performing the work right away, or taking that quote to shop around, if I so desired.Needless to say, I chose to let him go ahead and do the work. He ran off to get the needed parts for job and came back right away. Again, how dare these guys be so efficient. I dont know who they think they are.He performed the work quickly and cleanly with the help of another fine gentleman that he brought back with him to make the job go smoother. Ran all the wires, hooked up my heater and made sure it was working before leaving.It is amazing with companies like Tejas Electric operating at such a high level that any other company is able to stay in business. If you are looking for electric work, stop, you found the right company.

Wade was referred to me from EPW plumbing who had just installed a tankless water heater. I needed an outdoor outlet installed to power the unit and Tejas Electric did a flawless job. They showed up on time and swiftly installed. The end result (bottom of pic) is perfect. It is a clean install, perfectly located, ready to handle any weather. On top of the everything, they shortened the power cable and secured it so the end result looks even better.I could not be happier with how professional they were and quality of work delivered. I have hired a few other electricians for various jobs and can say Wade will now be my go-to.10/10 Recommend!

Very prompt and professional service! As a moderately skilled DIYer, I recently had some issues and uncertainty while attempting to install a new DC motor fan with a smart switch in our new home. We previously had a pull chain fan installed with a 3 way switch for the light and a single pole switch for the fan. After several hours of YouTube videos, repetitive trial and error, and countless curse words muttered under my breath, I realized that I should call a professional. A huge shout out and thank you to Steve who quickly got everything installed properly. I would definitely recommend Tejas Electric and will be planning on using their services again for any future needs.

I work in a city facility and we require 3 bids for larger projects. Tejas Electric was the less expensive bid, but since I never used them before I was apprehensive. They communicated clearly on scheduling and room arrangements and were always prompt and on time. As we were changing all of our lightning from fluorescent to LED, it was quite an undertaking to keep our facility open while work was scheduled in the many rooms. I cannot believe were were able to transition work smoothly without much conflict. Their follow up service has been excellent. I would highly recommend Tejas Electric. Switching to LED has lowered our bills and the products that Tejas recommended has much better quality lighting too!

I called Tejas Electric to help install a Brilliant Smart Home light switch. I had tried to do the install myself but it proved to be a bit too complicated. Wade communicated well on the front end. He came out and installed the switch very quickly and was super friendly. My wife felt very comfortable being home alone with him and we didnt have to clean up after him. We will definitely be calling Tejas again next time we have electrical needs.

Well, after an awful experience with another electrical company, what a discovery in Tejas Electric. We had what appeared to be a blown back porch circuit that seemed to be replicating in our outdoor lighting... The Tejas rep not only knew what he was doing, methodically and quickly testing each circuit and tracking down the fault like an efficient, eager detective, he had such respect for us that he lowered his voice to a whisper so as not to disturb my wife doing work-at-home. Polite, efficient, professional problem solving. Clear explanations of the problems, and very reasonable price to get the job done (approx $237). Worth it? You bet. Finding an electrician I can trust and recommend? Priceless.

Called Tejas Electric for a few simple jobs and a few quotes on future work. The had an opening within a week and I scheduled the visit. Wade (Owner) called and asked if he could come a bit early, which worked out great for me. He was super personable and immediately identified what needed to be done, and to my surprise, it was an easier (and less expensive) job than I had thought. He installed a ceiling fan and new switches that used a separate control for lights & fan. It took him maybe 40 mins and it was working and looking great. I also had him install another switch in our Master.We are thinking of adding a hot tub out back in the next year and he walked me through what it would take, the best path, and pricing. All of it made sense and the quote was fair. He also provided suggestions for some other small projects I wanted done (more exterior outlets in the brick siding) that would make them easier and save some money.I highly recommend Wade and Tejas Electric!

I had Tejas Electric provide an estimate along with a couple other companies. Lets face it, most of the reliable outfits will be somewhat close in prices. Tejas was a bit higher on a few things but were lower in others and the difference made the choice easy. That and the fact that they seemed to want my business without being pushy. Terrance showed on time and he was knowledgeable and had great input in the deployment of the canned lighting. He was quick with installing 3 ceiling fans and helped with one that I installed ( ok, so Im not an expert). He added lights to my garage as well as an outlet. He provided an outside security light which proved to be a bit of a challenge due to the construction of the house. He was great and very pleasant to work with. I give them 5 stars and two thumbs up....John

Tejas Electric helped us on several projects. First, they hung a new outdoor lighted electric fan under an upper deck....paying special attention to waterproofing from rain from above. It still works perfect. Secondly, we had some security cameras wired and had a photoelectric cell problem on an outdoor light. Again, the job was completed perfectly. Lastly, we had Tejas install an outdoor convenience outlet behind our garage...great job. Oh yea, almost forgot...they also solved a nagging problem by separating two incorrectly joined circuits which was causing a lighting issue inside the house. Here, we actually had to use original house construction plans to help in the solution. I can’t say enough good things about Tejas!

Just wanted to take a sec to commend Tejas Electric on a job they recently did for us. We had been putting off for over a year for an electrician to come out and add a plug for us in the bathroom to make it easier for my wife to connect all of her lady gadgets. The only plug the builder installed was on the far side of the counter so all of her cords had to be run all the way across the countertop over to her vanity area. We put off having the job done as we believed the project was going to be a bigger issue than it was. The technician came in and provided us with a quick easy solution. He made the job seem so simple even though I know there was much more to it than it appeared. If we knew what we do now we would have had Tejas come out a long time ago. Its great to know that we have an electrician that we can count on if we ever need one!

During the night we experienced a power surge w/ several of our household circuits not providing power even though the panel showed the circuit breakers in the on state. Unfortunately this incident occurred through the night going into a holiday. After calling several Electrician company’s, Tejas Electric was the only one responding to come out and look at the issue. My guess is he knew exactly what the issue was because he had our house back to full power in less than an hour. When talking on the phone, he said “I don’t want people to be without power” and if he had not come out, half our house would have been without power for 2 or more days.

We converted a storage room in our barn into a pottery studio and needed complete electrical wiring done. Wade put outlets where we requested and installed the specified wiring outlet for the kiln. I didnt have a 220 outlet for my big electric ceramic kiln in my garage. I called another company and the owner looked (I think) told me I didnt have enough power in the house to support the kiln, period. I was very surprised, because I have never had trouble hooking up my kiln in any other of the locations Ive lived in or had a studio; sometimes power had to be extended, or a switch had to be added to the breaker box, but Ive never been told I couldnt do it. I called Tejas Electric and they sent an electrician named Terrance over to look and told me I could have the kiln easily, and explained how he would run a conduit from the larger breaker box to the garage. Today, he did the work and the wires and conduit he installed are artfully hidden behind bushes and a column. I couldnt be happier. He was polite and really good at his job. I cant believe that other company just outright lied to me. I will use Tejas Electric whenever I need electrical work. Im very pleased.
