    After reading other people’s reviews, I was hesitant to work with them at first, but I’m glad I did! I called Wilbert because I was interested in repairing my deck. I wasn’t looking for a complete rebuild, because a lot of the quotes I was getting for that were just out of our budget, and I knew our deck had good structural integrity overall. We just needed some repairs and a refresh at least to buy us time while we’re saving up for a total rebuild one day. Wilbert and his partner Juan delivered on that objective and even went above and beyond our original expectations - all for an extremely competitive price & a small fraction of what others were quoting us. Originally I was thinking about only replacing compromised boards and spots on my deck but after discussing solutions with them, they offered to replace the entire foundation, add additional supports under the deck for greater strength, & and new steps (almost a whole new deck!) and all of that again for a great price. I asked if they could build a gate at the top of the steps to help enclose the deck for our kids/pets. They were very accommodating and gladly added that in for a very small and reasonable increase in labor costs. And my wife and I love the way the gate turned out. When it came time to paint, my wife and I chose a color that when applied we didn’t like as much and when I asked them if we could add another color, they were again very accommodating & committed to helping us arrive at a color we liked for a very reasonable increase in labor costs. Along the way, whenever we had concerns & questions, they were responsive, accommodating, and reasonable, and we’ll definitely keep them top in mind for small jobs we might need in the future. We love being outside on our new deck & we’re very grateful for all their help and hard work! (Attached are before, during, & after photos)

    I needed to have damaged back porch posts replaced due to dry rot. From the moment Juan arrived, he was professional, courteous, and clearly knew his stuff. He assessed the damage quickly and explained the repair process in detail, making sure I understood every step.Juans workmanship was exceptional. He worked diligently and efficiently, taking great care to ensure a high-quality repair. The finished product looks fantastic, and Im incredibly impressed with the level of skill and attention to detail he brought to the job.I highly recommend Juan for any home repair needs.     Amazing. Sheldon installed a new double vanity, replacing a single vanity. His plumbing skills were exceptional, I love it. (He even helped me pick it out) He replaced the flooring in the kids rooms and the steps. Finally, no more carpet! Thank you Mr. Davis

    I usually don’t do reviews but I just had to do this..The company is the absolute best! I am keeping Will for life. Met hit at home depot, explained my home situation to him, he followed me home immediately, and told me the exact color we needed for the wall after mudding. And in a short time my wall was brand new. He’s very dedicated and wouldn’t joke with your job as he went all out to make sure mine was perfect. Don’t sleep on this company. The Best!!!

    The guys at Shelby Constructions are truly the Jack of all Trades They were able to rebuild my deck and add stairs, it looks phenomenal. All other contractors that I called tried to convince me to totally revamp my deck stating that the old posts; were unusable. Not only did the guys at Shelby Construction refute those claims, they suggested that I keep 100% of the original deck and pressure wash it in order to save money. I really appreciated the honesty. They also repaired my water damaged basement as well as added a beautiful set of curved concrete steps to a steep hill leading into my backyard. They added gutters to the side of my home and repaired my leaning front stairs which are now sturdy and look brand new. One of the contractors noticed that my A/C was collecting water near the foundation of my home and buried PVC pipes underground leading away from the home. This was all done for about the price of the estimates just to rebuild my deck from other vendors. If you want honest, hardworking, and inexpensive contractors, then I would highly recommend Small Jobs by Shelby Construction.

    There company has been great at the immediate responsive to my repairs. The paint job was pleasing to the eye, it was done in a timely manner and I would hire them again. I thank them for the professionalism that they gave on such short notice.
