We are about 2 years out from an addition, roof, and siding. Everything they built is still sound and in working order. John pulled a rabbit out of a hat getting this job done during Covid. Good communication. I would use them again.

We contacted Russ Glickman because we were impressed with a renovation that his firm had done for an associate. We were particularly interested in his expertise in making homes accessible but stylish. Russ responded to our call in a timely manner and we had a very good meeting with him and his employees. They were genial, they asked what we wanted, and had many suggestions. We liked their ideas and contracted with them to do some initial designs. We give them extra credit because we were not completely sure what we wanted, so they came back with a broad variety of options and price points. The solutions were innovative, attractive and presented with high quality illustrations. The pricing was similar to other groups we spoke with. In the end, we didn’t contract with them for a final design because we changed our mind on what we wanted; but we recommend them.

Glickman DesignBuild did a fantastic job on our addition. We redid our kitchen expanding out and making a great room as well as adding a screened porch. The entire process was excellent. The initial design work was stressful given the costs of what we wanted versus what we could afford. However, once we settled on a plan, the process was incredibly smooth. Our project manager was Justin Wigfield who was amazing. He was always available and dealt with any of our concerns immediately. The subcontractors were all wonderful. Everyone worked long hours and things moved along quickly (the entire process did require 6 months although everything was essentially done in about 4 months. ) Things were always left clean and organized and the entire process was as stress free as something like this could be.I can not be happier with the outcome - we love our new room and porch and patio.

I contacted Glickman Design for a special bathroom to be constructed in San Diego. The job required accommodations for an ostomate (following colo-rectal surgery) with other mobility issues. Tim Birsin and Doug Long from the Rockville office, experts in Universal Design and Aging-In-Place, took the time to explain special requirements such as curb-less showers, wheel-chair accessibility, grab bars, specialty toilets, and more.
