    I can 100% attest to all of the positive reviews for Dave the Plumber and his son Jake. There is no one else I would call for plumbing projects on the Cape. Dave personally answered my initial call on a Monday morning and was at the house a couple of hours later. He explained my options clearly and made great suggestions. They were able to complete the work (installing a new bathroom faucet and an emergency shutoff valve) in less than a couple of hours. Pricing is upfront and very reasonable. The results are just perfect! They are highly skilled professionals and obviously take great pride in their work. In addition they are both just genuinely nice guys. I highly recommend them for any plumbing projects here on the Cape.

    I would recommend Dave every time - I had a pipe burst, when I arrived at my house I had 6 inches of water … I immediately called Dave, he came in under 30 mins. He took care of the situation in no time. Pumped out the water, fixed the pipe and came early the next morning to install a new hot water tank that got damaged. I had heat and water within a couple of hours that night and hot water by 11am the next morning. Definitely a phone number you should have readily available.Thank you Dave !!! 👍

    My dream was to have an outdoor shower in my little place in Provincetown, but I knew running the water lines would be tricky in this old building. Dave was up to the task - came up with multiple options and explained them thoroughly to me. He and Jake showed up and did quality work and the results are spectacular. Dave is a problem solver and kind and patient. He also has a great eye for what will work aesthetically. Dave will be on speed dial for any of my plumbing needs on the Cape.

    Dave and Jake are exceptional! I arrived at our house after having been away for a couple weeks and walked into our 1st floor buckled like I’ve never seen before. I immediately looked for a plumber and called Dave. He answered the call, listened to my plight and said he’d be over in a few minutes. Bottom line…Dave and his son Jake arrived at a septic backup…dug up the septic cover and revealed a clogged pipe that wasn’t allowing water to exit and thus caused a water backup into the house while we were away.I couldn’t recommend these guys enough!

    Thank god 🙏 for Dave! Called him on a Sunday he was willing to come right over.... But when I explained no water pressure he advised I call the water department first I could have a leak or busted pipe. So glad he told me any other plumber would have come out and charged you!! Without eliminating that problem first. What a decent honest person. I will call him with anything I need I fully trust him!!!

    We had an outside shower that would not completely shut off and a leaky outdoor faucet. Dave immediately answered the phone and said he would come over the next day to check things out. Upon his timely arrival, he was able to quickly determine the reason for the plumbing issues and clearly explained what needed to be done. Both the shower and outdoor faucet are now working properly. Dave is a friendly and professional guy who I plan to use for future plumbing needs.

    Dave the Plumber is my go-to for all things plumbing. I had several leaks in my pipes after opening my cottage for the season. He came over on a SUNDAY and provided a detailed estimate by Monday. He FINISHED the job which involved some digging - by Thursday! It may have been timing but I can’t remember a contractor be THAT responsive.     We called Dave late on a weekend night in a panic because our basement just filled with water from our boiler. He calmly assured us we did the right thing by turning off a valve and that we would be ok for heat for the night. He showed up promptly the next morning and fixed the original issue plus identified the other issues on it before those parts broke. Very reasonable rates and explains everything. Went the extra mile with everything.

    I called Dave at 9 am with an emergency plumbing issue and asked him to come over asap. Dave showed up within the hour and diagnosed/repaired the issue immediately.     Very responsive! My outdoor shower was leaking and needed emergency service. Dave was on site in less than an hour. He had the necessary parts with him and completed the repair.     Had guests staying at our AIRBNB and they had no hot water. I called Dave on a Saturday morning and he came out within a few hours.     I needed a shower faucet replaced ASAP. I called a couple plumbing services and each time got a customer service rep who said theyd have a plumber call me in a day or two. I never heard back. I called Dave and Dave answered the phone. Dave and his son Jake were able to come out and handle my issue very quickly. He knows what he is doing, is professional and is reasonably priced.     Dave is extremely prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Hes helped with diagnosing and solving problems related to our toilet and septic system and helped with an appliance install on very short notice and just before the holiday season. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the problem and what your options are for solving it. Hes also pointed out things that will require future attention so that we can work towards fixing them before they grow into full-blown emergencies.I really appreciate the work hes done for me and will be happy to hire him again in the future.

    Dave was over on a busy Saturday July morning in under an hour. Dave was super friendly and communicated with us from the beginning about what to expect. Fixed our clogged toilet in ten min!!!     Dave came out and replaced our water heater in record time. We got 3 quotes for the job and Dave beat them all, one of them by a lot. When a company sends out their sales person (Im not buying a car) to look at a plumbing job you know youre going to overpay. Well go with Dave in the future too!

    Dave saved the day the summer of 2018 when our water heater went down in our 16 unit condo complex. He responded within minutes to my call. He was able to replace it expeditiously, and he was very reasonably priced for all the work he had to do. This was no small tank. Our one tank serves all 16 units. This spring when we were trying to reopen, our Boston based plumbers who work for a major hospital were unable to come up with a date due to the Pandemic.The first person I thought of was Dave. He came right over and saved the day once again. He got us up and running.On another note, I told him I was going to give him a great review, and he asked me to tell folks that he is very good looking.     Dave recently replaced a hot water tank and repaired a bathroom sink. He does high quality work and is easy to communicate with. After I had paid him for the sink, I found that there was still a tiny leak, and he came back and took care of it. He is very trustworthy and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

    When I arrived at my vacation home after my Dads funeral and turned the water main on I realized I had a massive water leak somewhere that was filling up my laundry room with water. After calling some of the bigger plumbing companies and being told the soonest someone could get out to look at it was in 2-3 days I stumbled across Dave the Plumber. Dave himself answered the phone and when I described the situation and my desperation he came over with his son in 20 minutes! They assessed the situation and determined a pipe burst in our outside shower. He was able to isolate it which prevented me from having no water for 2-3 days and then came back to fix it a few days later. He also relit the pilot light on my water heater and showed me how to do it. Dave is professional, dependable, knowledgeable and reliable. Will definitely use him again!

    Ive been dealing seasonally with Dave for a number of years now. He has consistently gone out of his way to accommodate me every spring, fall and in between. At least twice now weve had issues with defective work by the Dennis Water District which required multiple visits and follow up by Dave and he always sees me through to a successful conclusion. I find him friendly, reliable and completely trustworthy.

    Dave the Plumber is the best. Dave is unfailingly pleasant, competent, and punctual. When he agreed to do some plumbing work at my home, related to the installation of new kitchen countertops (re-install the sink faucet, hook up the kitchen sink and dishwasher, install a new disposal), he carried on -- in the face of one problem after another, none of which was his doing -- in the most professional and helpful manner. He also looked for ways to keep costs low, and even after considerable extra time and effort on his part, his bill was most reasonable. In addition, Dave took care to clean up and leave the work area spotless. I recommend him without reservation.

    I needed some work done involving leaking pipes at my house and was tired of getting charged through the roof by E. F. Winslow and getting a different technician each time. So I decided to search Google for someone that’s local, and that has good ratings. I also wanted to support a small business on Cape Cod.I was specifically interested in Dave The Plumber‘s services once I received an estimate and learned that his son is on all the jobs with him. That means that every time you call Dave The Plumber you get Dave. Anytime they come to your house you also get Dave. This way you don’t need to deal with a bunch of different people over the phone, or new people coming to your house every time you need work done (they may even send someone inexperienced, but you don’t need to worry about that with Dave). The best part is he’s very personable and also very reasonably priced (much cheaper than the bigger companies around like E. F. Winslow). He’s a very good guy and hard worker that puts his name behind his work.After today, I’ll be permanently changing my plumbing services to Dave The Plumber. He’s very punctual, extremely responsive to calls/texts/emails, gives more than fair prices, and has his son work for him as a part of the family business.The two of them are genuinely good people, they do great work, they are more than reasonably priced, and that’s why their ratings are so high. Use Dave once and you will never need to look for another plumber again!

    Dave goes above and beyond what most plumbers would do!!!! Before shutting down for the winter, we left the house turning off the water main and leaving the thermostat at 55. The family planned to get together for Thanksgiving and were leaving the house unoccupied for a few weeks. Dave called during a particular cold spell and said he was at the house concerned with the outdoor shower pipes that were not drained. Dave took it upon himself to make sure that no damage occurred. It gives us great peace of mind to know that Dave is in our corner!!!!

    I own a cottage that was being rented and got a call from the rental agency saying that the refrigerator was leaking. It was of course on a Sunday when nobody is around, and I found Dave on one of the searches I did. While he said that he doesnt fix leaky refrigerators, he did give me a contact of someone that did. This person (Bob Gregoire in Hyannis) picked up on a Sunday and said hed be at my cottage 8:30 the next morning. So while I havent used Dave as a plumber, he definitely helped me out with this issue and I greatly appreciated it. I will give him a try in the fall to close up my cottage and follow-up my review.

    I would highly recommend Dave The Plumber. We had a minor plumbing emergency in a rental property and needed it repaired within 24 hours. Dave answered our call immediately, arrived at the home within 30 minutes and solved our problem within 2 hours. He charged us a reasonable rate, was friendly, professional and neat. The bathroom was in full working order, clean and dry when he left. I am so thankful that he was available and willing to help us out. I now have him on speed dial!!

    Dave the Plumber is the best! He quickly returned a text message I sent on a Sunday afternoon. He called the next day to say he was in the area and wanted to check out my kitchen faucet that was leaking. Not only did he fix my leaking faucet but noticed my sprayer was leaking. He explained that over time, this unnoticeable leak could do major damage under my counter. Without hesitation he fixed that leak too!Dave is an experienced plumber, who is well known throughout the Cape, especially in the Mid-Cape, area. He is friendly, knowledgeable and his prices are very reasonable. I wouldnt call anyone else, but Dave the Plumber!

    Dave has worked on a few projects at my house . This last time I called him for there was a gas smell for my barbecue which uses natural gas from the house. He was so helpful and considerate.     Dave was wonderful. He showed up a little early, walked the property and found and resolved small issues. He fixed the item we hired him for, found a leak and repaired it.     On a Saturday we found ourselves in a real pickle. We sprung a leak that required we shut off the main. If we couldnt get it fixed wed be without water the rest of the weekend! Called Dave. He showed up within the hour and had it fixed for an entirely reasonable rate. Great dude. Happy to be a customer and to have Dave as a friend!

    My experience with Dave the Plumber was great! Called and my call was returned very promptly.I made an appointment to have the work I needed performed and Dave arrived on time and not only that, he called about 15 minutes prior to the appointment time and let me know he was on his way.This is my second time calling Dave and he does great work in a timely and thorough manner.Within 24 hours of my original call the work was done!!Dave may be just one guy on his own, but his response time is faster than local plumbers with multiple crews. I appreciate his professionalism. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

    My gas was turned off by the gas company after they found a leak. Dave came out and identified what needed to be done. However he is a one person operation and this job would require at least two. He gave me some recommendations for plumbers and went on his way. He is a good guy who I would not hesitate to use in the future.

    Dave was called to help with a burst pipe. He came immediately to turn off the outside water. He returned in 2 days to repair the pipe. All this was done for a reasonable price. He also came to turn on the outside water the day after being called. He also attached the shower head and checked for cracks and leaks. Dave is very prompt, emergency or not, and is extremely thorough.
