    I recently had a new garage door and garage door opener installed by Dayton Doors. These guys were excellent from start to finish. John Kemper handled my initial call. He was very friendly & professional & he kept everything within my budget with absolutely no pressure to upgrade or do more than what I asked. He gave me a small discount when I mentioned that my mom had recommended them to me after she had them install a new garage door for her. John was also able to accommodate my schedule and send someone out really quickly to get the measurements. This worker (whose name I wish I had) was terrific as well. He did the measurements for the new door and went above & beyond by doing some temporary repairs for me as well - no charge. He took the time to secure my opener (that was about to fall off) and to put on a new bracket on my old garage door where it was broken. This kept everything working until they came out to install the new door & opener. Mike and Nate were the workers that came out to do the install. They were friendly and fast! The install was completed in a few hours. Then they took the time to go over everything with me. We ended up having conversations about motorcycles & Halloween decorations as well. In summary, if you need a new door installed I would absolutely recommend Dayton Door Sales. Thank you!

    We decided to visit the Dayton Door Sales showroom several months ago as we began our search for a new garage door and garage door opener. We worked extensively with John K. in sales. He was very patient and thorough in answering all of our questions. He has probably been the best sales representative we have encountered for any major home purchase for decades. We received very quick response emails for several weeks working us through the steps of choosing our door model and opener. Our door model: Clopay Modern Steel # 9202, in gray and a Liftmaster opener # 87504, which has LM WiFi, camera, battery backup and LED lighting. We were also assisted by Travis A. , and Scott who were also very helpful and supportive in their roles with this company. They made everything come together when it came time to order our door & opener, and then schedule an installation time.Our installers arrived promptly on time 4/20/23. Tim and Brandon worked efficiently as a team, all while answering numerous questions I had about parts, operations/functions and warranties. They were professional and kind. They cleaned up the work area (garage & driveway) thoroughly. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend this team to anyone having high expectations for work standards. Tim also took extra time to program my truck‘s garage door opener on the visor panel. Thank you to this duo for coming back to address a concern I had about the garage door function the next day.     Our door stopped working 2 days ago. Bummer right.. Shane M came out and fixed it in no time. He was very easy to talk with and friendly. He had it fixed and done in about 28 minutes. Saved me again. Not expensive as I thought it would be either. He adjusted the springs closing rate and all. Door works like new again. 17 year old opener and works perfect again.     We had two new entry doors installed; one front and one back, in Oct 2023. From start to finish, we had a great experience with Dayton Door Sales. Every single person I talked to answered all questions. We never felt like we were being pushed to buy any thing. By the time it was time to make a purchase, we felt fully confident in what we were buying and who we were working with. We also had lead paint concerns being in an old home, with young kids around. They took them seriously and took all precautions. CJ and the install team was great. The doors have been great. They have made a huge difference and I appreciate them every time I open a door.     We had a cable snap on our garage door, trapping our car inside. Technician Mark came out the morning we called and made the necessary repairs. He was very professional, friendly and did not leave a mess. Our 68 year old original wood garage door prompted us to meet with Brandon at their Dayton store on Springfield Street to discuss replacing it with a new, steel insulated door. Brandon took his time listening to our design ideas and showed us options and discussed costs with us. We truly appreciate his professionalism and no pressure approach. We used DDS on our previous house for replacement of all the windows and a new garage door. We are very satisfied customers and highly recommend them to anyone needing windows and doors!

    Very few times am I absolutely blown away, but I was totally blown away by the service I received from Dayton Door Sales... specifically I was blown away by the wonderful technician I had, Nick.Tuesday, February 27, 2024 my garage door crapped out on me. I tried to do the YouTube research to fix it, but this problem was beyond what I was capable of repairing. I tried calling Chamberlain customer service, but my problem was also beyond troubleshooting over the phone. This led me to calling Dayton Door Sales in the early afternoon. The person I spoke to was kind and cordial and said a technician would be out in the morning.Wednesday morning, February 28 rolls around and Nick shows up precisely at 930...exactly when he said hed arrive. He was extremely kind, respectful, and listened as I explained and showed him the issue I was having. He immediately knew what was wrong and got to work. He let me watch his repair process as I was curious how the garage worked and what his troubleshooting process was. He kindly explained the issue, had the replacement part available, and fixed the garage motor. He even went above and beyond to fix a bunch of different minor issues such as loose screws on the garage and the force of the garage door opening and closing.I was simply blown away at the quality of the fix, the speed with which he got it done, and the above and beyond service. I had so much trust for Nick that I left early before he was completely finished with the repair to get to work. I arrived back from work with a beautiful fully-functioning garage with several previous minor issues fixed in addition to the main issue.I could not recommend these guys enough. They are worth every penny and then some.

    I had the circuit board in my garage door opener go bad. I called Dayton doors and they came out the next day! Mark was awesome! He fixed the opener and then saw other flaws from the original installation of the garage door . He fixed that and then helped me re program all of my openers!

    After the coil on my garage door broke, the first company I had come out tried to convince me that an entire new setup was needed, and when they suspiciously dropped their estimate after I declined the service, I called another company, Dayton Door Sales.Not only was their estimate better, but the technician who arrived for the repair (Mark) was thorough, friendly, and very informative about the mechanics of my setup and things I could do to help maintain it! I was so happy with their service that I was sure to call them again when my rental property also had a garage door repair issue. The same technician, Mark, came out again and once again went the extra mile to help ensure that everything was checked and in good working order. 10/10 would recommend, and will definitely call them again with any issues in the future!

    Just in time for Independence Day our garage door experienced a mechanical failure. We called Dayton Door Sales, explained the problem, and they promised to have a technician out THE SAME DAY. That itself was impressive. A few hours later the tech, Shane, arrived. After evaluating the situation, Shane discovered the problems and repaired them. The total cost was very reasonable.     Nick was AWESOME today, fixed the issue that I called about and THEN also replaced three cracked hinges that were putting stress on the whole system/mechanism. Excellent work...our garage door hasnt ever been this quiet! I appreciate him taking the time to fix all of our issues AND answer my questions about proper maintenance going forward.     A broken torsion spring imprisoned our vehicles in the garage. Fortunately for us, Scott was able to get us on Joshs work list the same day, and Josh had our door functioning again in about 40 minutes. Then, after fixing it, he saved me a spring maintenance chore by lubricating all the rollers, hinges, and springs and then lubed my screw-drive door opener as well. Clearly above and beyond what I expected, and I sincerely appreciate Dayton Door Sales business model. When it comes time to replace the opener or the door, Ill be calling them again!

    Had them put in a back door and add a screen door. I took a few quotes from local competitors and went with them because the price was better, the salesman listened to what I was asking for and didnt try to upsell me the fiberglass door, and the salesman listened when I mentioned my door sill was not stable and assured me it would be reinforced to prevent future problems.Between accepting the quote and install date, they were very helpful. They sent me a quote for a different door because I thought I might change my mind.Install date was smooth and on time. Install guys were great, they did a superb job. They have a great eye for detail and delivered more than the sales guy promised. I waited a couple months before my review just to ensure nothing odd popped up. It was a flawless experience, will do business with again.

    My mother recently had new ProVia windows installed in her Condo by Dayton Door Sales. She has been raving about not only the beautiful windows but also how much brighter her rooms are with the absence of condensation she was experiencing with her old ones.     Our cars were completely trapped in tha garage after both springs broke during the night. I called Dayton Door Sales as soon as they opened at 8 AM and super repairman, Shane drove 25-30 mins & knocked on our door an hour later. He was timely, courteous, & ready to get to the repair. I went out to check on him & he shared that he’d broken his finger the night before so he was in throbbing pain all night. Note: replacing the springs required using both hands.This guy is top notch!     My home warranty company selected Dayton Door Sales to replace my garage door opener and Im glad they did. My door had damage from a previous owner and they went above and beyond what they were supposed to do. They braced and straightened my door and added extra support to strengthen the top of the door. The final product looks really nice and they also added a wireless key pad. Im really please with the work they did and will have them come back out if anything happens in the future.

    I normally do most of my own home repair work, but replacing our 80+ year old garage doors from the 1930s wasnt something I wanted to tackle. Calling a company to send a sales rep to my house is one of the last things I ever want to do :-)The entire process of working with Dayton Door Sales was very smooth and very professional. The salesman was very knowledgable, zero pressure, and very helpful. Once we decided to purchase from them, they were in good communication with us letting us know when to expect the doors, and scheduling the installation.Being an 80+ year old house, not everything is standard and they sent their expert installer crew to make sure it went flawlessly.The installers were nice, professional, efficient, and did an AMAZING job ensuring the doors were perfectly installed and gave the maximum clearance to fit our SUV in the garage bay.I would highly recommend them to anyone needing replacement doors or any service needs.

    I highly recommend this company. On a recent service call to replace the circuit board in our overhead garage door unit, the technician (Josh) did an excellent job...and more. After replacing the board, he reprogrammed the codes for our remote controllers, the controllers in both of our cars, and the wireless touch pad. We have had only a few service calls over the years, but the technicians are always on time and always do good work.

    In these days of trying to find service people with a work ethic and a desire to provide excellent customer service, the task can be daunting. I found both in Patrick from Dayton door sales. Patrick arrived on time. He quickly addressed the service call issue and then began routine maintenance on the garage door system. Upon doing so he found a broken bracket screw which could have caused huge expensive issues down the road. Disaster averted.     DDS installed a new Provia entry door and storm door and the install was perfect. The install crew wasted no time yet were very attentive to detail. The support from the office was also of the same caliber. Only issue was a bit of a delayed delivery from the manufacturer that was not a DDS or a Provia issue. However, DDS went above and beyond in keeping me updated as well as how the delay was handled. Both doors are of very high quality and look great. I would highly recommend DDS for your next project.

    We just had a new front door installed at our house by Dayton Door Sales. The salesman that came for the estimate was very helpful. He listened to what we wanted, showed us all our options without being pushy, and was even able to show us a picture of what our house would look like with the new front door. On install day, there was some weather moving through. The install crew kept us informed, and was eventually able to get started after the rain moved out. They worked very efficiently, did a professional job, and cleaned up afterwards. We love our new front door. Thank you again Dayton Door Sales !!

    Our salesman, Brandon, spent a large amount of time in person and on the phone with us helping to choose just the right new front door. Our door arrived much sooner than expected and scheduling an install date was quick and easy. Our installers has excellent skills and expertly put in our door in under 4 hours. They worked in the rain part of the day and never once complained. The found a problem with our new storm door and showed it to my husband and I and suggested a new one be ordered. This most likely would not have been noticed by us, so I give 5 stars for their honesty and integrity. I will be buying my next door from Dayton Door Sales. Good price, high quality product, early arrival of items, easy scheduling, excellent installers, integrity and honesty. Cant ask for more than this.

    I ordered a back storm door for my home. Because I live in a 120+ year old home in a historic district, the door had to be custom ordered. It took roughly 4 months for the door to come in; however, the company was transparent about the timeline from day one. The door arrived and was installed beautifully, but there was a small flaw on the frame. Dayton Door Sales immediately ordered a new frame. The second one came in and was also flawed (not their fault, it happened in shipping.) They ordered a third frame and it arrived shortly thereafter. Great care was taken in uninstalling the first door and reinstalling a new door. Communication was clear through the process. The company apologized for the issue (even though it was very clearly not their fault) and offered a slight price adjustment for the extended timeline and installation issues. To me, this is a classic example of outstanding customer service...as well as the motto: you get what you pay for. I paid a little more, based on their glowing reviews, and it was worth it. I would use Dayton Door Sales again, without hesitation, and would recommend to most anyone looking for quality products and great customer service. Bravo!

    The service I got on my Overhead Door from Dayton Door Sales and my two techs, Zach and Bryce was five stars plus. My old garage door opener was on its last leg and I dreaded calling about it. I just knew it was going to be outrageously expensive and they would try to sell bells and whistles I didnt need. To my surprise, DDS replaced it with exact newer model, great price, no oversell and their people showed up when they were scheduled. Zach and Bryce were SO professional, answering my weird questions and showing me everything I need to know about the new opener. They even found the source of dead mouse smell when they were working so I got a service for free! I cant say enough about my experience with DDS and Zach and Bryce. Do not hesitate to call them if you find you need assistance with your garage door.
