I called Mahon after another plumber walked off our remodeling job before it was finished. Mahon was quick to identify issues that were left incomplete or incorrect, and was able to finish the job efficiently and for a reasonable price. Chris Mahan went above and beyond by helping to move/unbox appliances and gave expert opinions that helped in our legal dispute with the previous plumber. It can be difficult to find contractors who dont cut corners or take advantage of homeowners, but Mahon was honest and helped us out of a difficult situation and has earned a customer for life. I would never think of calling anyone else for my plumbing needs.

These guys saved us! ❤️ Im so grateful to Mahon plumbing inc. for coming to our rescue after our main plumbing line blocked thanks to a broken pipe that left us with no water. They were able to come and fix it immediately and this was a HUGE job. Arrived by 8am with a large crew and had the yard dug up and fixed within hours. Not only do they do a great job but also very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company with all your plumbing needs.

Mahon came out in a timely manner and spent all day putting in a new sewer line for us. We had a huge tree root in our 1940s terracotta pipe, and they dug it up and laid the new (root-proof) pipe (the line was deeper than we thought), working diligently from 8:30am-9:30pm on a Friday. They came back the next day (Saturday) to finish it up, laying seed and hay, re-laying the section of sidewalk they dug up, replanting all my flowers and shrubs, and putting down mulch in my flowerbed. Then they scrubbed down my driveway, as well as the neighbors, and just did a superb job!! They were also the least expensive of the plumbing companies we called! We highly recommend them!

The technician was able to clearly identify our problem in the sewer line and he worked hard to make sure he properly checked every part of the system underground, including pulling the heavy manhole cover in the street several times.>> I am pleased I now have a plumbing firm I can turn to and trust. Quite honestly, nobody else seemed willing to give me a price before visiting even though I explained exactly what I needed and the accessibility of the clean outs, etc. That was annoying and I dont have time to waste. Very happy with my experience with Mahon Plumbing. Needed a new water main from the street to the house and it couldnt have been easier. I know every job is different, but I had a very reasonable quote on a Thursday and the work was done the next Monday. Had the water shut off Monday morning, and back on by lunch that day . This included trenchless main line installation, new expansion tank, all inside work done with copper, seeding of the lawn where needed, new seed covered with straw, and the county inspection complete. All this by early afternoon! Would for sure use them again for plumbing needs.

Our main water line broke while we were on vacation. Im a tad late writing this, but I wanted to share the very positive experience I had with this company. It was back during the 4th of July weekend and we had visitors staying in our guess space in the basement. Unfortunately, during their visit, the toilet clogged which also back clogged the tub, so they couldnt use the bathroom, and it was at night. We called around for 24/7 service and thankfully found Mahon. They were nice, understanding and I have to say now, worth the price considering everything they had to do and what others wanted to charge. They came out the first night and had to unclog the main pipe and it was working, but by the morning, it was backed up again. We had to call again in the morning, on the actual holiday, I felt so bad, but we had to. But, they made no excuses, and came back out within about an hour from the time I called, even though there really wasnt a warranty. The guy came out with reinforcement and a much larger snake and the rest is history. We have had no issues since the 4th of July. Thumbs up to Mahon Plumbing and Jacob, the plumber who came out. He also made a few plumbing repairs to our toilets that took him over the 1 hour and we were happy to pay the additional fee. I rented a machine from Home Depot to unclog my sewer line. I worked on it for several hours and could not make any headway. A word of warning is that these machines are heavy, hard work, and dangerous! So I called Mahon Plumbing at noon and they were they by 3:30 pm. Great response time! The Plumber was wearing a mask and had coverings on his shoes. Impressive! Initially the plumber and I suspected that the sewer line had caved in. Massive amounts of tree roots had invaded the pipe. Two more Plumbers arrived with cameras and other boring equipment and 5 hours later the line was cleared and cleaned and actually looked like a clean Colon! My wife and I were so impressed by their knowledge, expertise, cleanliness, and persistence to get the job done! The cost was honest and fair! I highly recommend Mahon Plumbing and say Thank You for a job well done!

Mahon repaired a pipe where there was a GAS LEAK found by BGE. I was charged by the hour, 3 hours for tech and 2 hours for owner. It cost a small fortune to repair the leak. Paid for 5 hours, and they were at my home for 2 hours. I didnt expect to pay per hour, per person. In the future, I will only hire companies that charge by the job, not by the hour.I will say, however, that I am very pleased with the quality of their work.

The night before Easter 2020 at around 10 or 11 pm, I noticed my hot water heater was leaking. The answering service connected me with Chris who was AMAZING and patient in troubleshooting and answering my questions.Chris instructed me on how best to proceed safely to stop the water leak and coordinated to get someone to take care and replace the broken heater as soon as possible. I initially called another company to come out, the tech spent about 10 mins looking at it and handed me a tablet to sign for a VERY high repair bill. Then I gave Mahon Plumbing a call. The plumber that came out was prompt, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. He informed me about the issue, let me know things I could do as preventative maintenance, and went to work fixing the problem. The repair from Mahon’s was 2/3 what the other guys tried to charge me. The best thing about this whole experience is I know who I’m calling for plumbing from now on.

Mohans quote was superior because of the thorough assessment and analysis of the problem. The team showed up on time, on schedule, as discussed and it was fixed the way Chris said it would.
