If you are looking for a top notch contractor for major or minor home renovations look no further than Arachnid Construction. I have had them work on some shiplap wall projects in my house as well as other small projects.Tyson and his crew are exceptional with their craft, focus on attention to detail and the quality of their work. They are professional, reliable and honest. They communicate with you on every detail of the project. They also take the time to clean up after the project!I highly recommend this company for all your home renovations if you are looking for excellent craftsmanship!

When we decided to take the plunge and get our house sided, we reached out to friends and family for referrals for a contractor. No luck there. So we then turned to Menards and grabbed a few flyers for companies that did siding. The first person I called had disconnected number, the second person I called answered and told me they could come out later in the week and give us an estimate, the third person I called which was Tyson with Aachnid Construction also said he would be out at the end of the week and kept his word. I should add that we never did hear back from the other construction company that is pretty reputably known around Dubuque. I cant say enough about Arachnid Construction and Tysons integrity and craftsmanship. Everything. he said he was going to do he did and our house turned out beautiful. He guided us through the whole process and was very patient answering all my questions and explaining things. No surprises, everything was as he said it would be price wise and workmanship.. I would highly recommend him for any future home improvements you may be looking for someone to do.

Arachnid did the entire renovation for my salon in downtown Dubuque. It is an old building and we needed to work around a lot of things that come with a 130 year old building. Tyson is creative when it comes to fixing problems and he really cares about the work he does. His attention to detail and and his knowledge about his craft really shows. His pricing is transparent and honest. I will recommend Tyson and his crew to anyone who has a project. Looking forward to many more projects!

I am very happy with all the work Arachnid Construction did for me. Tyson and Carly created my vision for an addition to my home that I call my cozy corner. I especially liked the suggestions Tyson offered that made the room even more warm and inviting such as a wood ceiling. The finished product looks like it was always a part of my old house. They also installed the tile for my kitchen backsplash. I highly recommend them.

Tyson just completed a second project for me and I couldnt be happier. He has been the only contractor I have worked with in recent times that shows up on the day he states and ON TIME! He has an eye for detail and is a perfectionist. He maintained a clean workspace during the day and left the area clean at the end of the day. He provided professional suggestions to the project that I did not think about, but didnt push me to incorporate them. Tyson is personable, professional and extremely talented.

Tyson and the rest of his Arachnid crew were amazing to work with! We had some smaller repairs needed in our bathroom that caused damage to our dining room ceiling and were having trouble getting any contractors to respond because it wasnt a huge remodel job. Tyson never made us feel like our project was small or lesser than and he did a fantastic job! Weve had many complements on the work and were floored at how well priced it was. We HIGHLY recommend Arachnid and will definitely work with them again.

Tyson and his crew remodeled our entire main level. This included completely moving the kitchen. New windows of different sizes than original, built in cabinet placement, new front door, trim, built in shelving, tiling a large fireplace floor to 12 foot ceiling, new patio door...the list is extensive. The best part aside from the quality of work was that he was up for absolutely any vision our designer had. He made it all happen.

Tyson and Carly were professional and pleasant. They sincerely wanted us satisfied before they left each day. They stayed within our budget. The only contractors weve ever had that totally cleaned up after themselves every step of the way. We want them for future projects. Weve started a list.
