The project we hired B&K to perform was a fairly challenging knob & tube removal and replacement job on an old house. They performed the work exceptionally well. The electricians were on time every day, and were professional and courteous while in the house. B&K Electric is a top-notch company Id recommend to anyone without hesitation. They really are the ones that answer the phone, show up on time, do great work, keep a clean worksite and a pleasure to work with. When we moved to Rhode Island from out of state, into our 75 year old house with no outlet in the bathroom, and seriously overloaded circuits, we called B&K. Why B&K? Good reviews like this one! So, I am adding mine to say we think B&K is great, and we arent your average customers. My husband George is an semi-retired architect/builder with high standards, so he isnt easy to please. Mike is great to work with, and he really knows the old houses. Its hard to say enough good things about Jeremy, Cameron and everyone else on the crew without sounding corny, but seriously everything about our experience was great - including the price. I look forward to working with B&K again this summer when we do some more renovation.

Two guys came in from B&K back in June helped troubleshoot power issues running to our pool. Gave me a price (appreciated) after establishing the issues and had them also run power into one side of our garage. Not cheap but if you need clean, fast and professional its worth the piece of mind all day. Will use again if need arises.

He got Ryan and Jeremy to my house within a matter of days, because I needed my old knob and tube inspected urgently. They did a great job; friendly and professional but also just normal guys that you dont mind having around. They made some good observations while here that may be useful in the future, as well. I would use b&k again!

B&K Electric never did any work for me, but still gets a top rating from me for his professionalism and going above and beyond when we were in need. I needed somebody to do odds and ends type things in order to sell my house and I couldnt reach or find anybody that could do it. My Wife recieved a response late in the evening from the Owner Mike, and he worked very hard with her and I to accommodate us, even trying to move his schedule all around. The job was very small, and there probably wasnt a whole lot of money it it for him. We ended up going with somebody else that called back after 2 days and could get out right away, but for a guy who never worked with us before to try and go above and beyond for us was worth a lot to me. Next time I need electrical work done, I know who to call.

Mike and his guys did an excellent job. Our house is over 100 years old and they had to remove all the knob and tube wiring so we could insulate the house. They update the electric wiring and added outlets. Price was very reasonable for all the they did here.

I had some stubborn wiring from a previous electrician and was a bit confusing to troubleshoot. Probably took them around an hour, and did me a HUGE solid by labeling, so i can work on my house in the future. Right in the wheelhouse of previous estimates as well! Will use in the future for any electrical work!

We had purchased a 2 family house partly because of the finished basement. Recently we had a building inspector from West Warwick give us an inspection to be approved for energy efficiency grant. W.W. inspectors gave us devastating news that the basement was not up to code and needed to be demolished even know it was inspected when we bought it and again 2 other separate times by the same W.W. building inspectors :( I searched for a licenced electrical company and B and K was quick to give me a call back. Mike explained the cost of everything over the phone and was evan able to quote me an estimate right then and there. I decided this was the professionalism I needed to get past my issues. My basement was ordered to be demolished and thats sad but the electrical issues were fixed in only a few short hours and I am now moving forward with what I need to do. The best part of the experience with B and K was when the job got pricey Mike really worked with me and kept his word he would help me as much as possible. Good job B and K you earned this review.

This was the second time we had B&K do electrical work for us and we could not have been happier with the results. I recently hired Mike, the owner of B&K Electric to hard-wire a smoke detector system for a 3 Family home in Woonsocket that I was selling and was very impressed to say the least. As a Real Estate Broker I am always looking for good, honest, quality contractors & vendors and I have to say Mike was all of that and more. Mike is a true professional right down to his neat appearance and cool designer company trucks. Shortly after I called Mike to inquire about his services and we agreed to schedule the job, he had everything in motion almost immediately. Within days we were scheduled with the city, he had acquired all necessary permits and the job was completed in 2 days at the scheduled time, exactly as promised. The work he performed in my opinion was perfect, clean and so thorough as it passed all inspections with the City of Woonsocket and the Fire Department instantly with no glitches, rare! He offers fair pricing, amazing quality work and does what he says hes going to do... in addition to all that such a pleasure to deal with, so easy to work with as he, Chris and all his guys were all so nice and courteous. Mike and B&K Electric are now my new go-to electrical contractors.
