    A-Z Electric installed my home generator and I couldnt be more satisfied. The are friendly and professional. From the project leader, Pawel, planning and communicating with me throughout each step to the technicians performing their specialty. Isaiah , the electrician did a great job with Carlos installing the switch panel while Alex installed the electrical wires through the attic to the other side of the house. They worked well as a team. They coordinated with the plumber to install the gas pipeline to the generator and with the town inspectors. Finally, Carlos C. did a great job walking me through the startup process and explaining the emergency shut-off and self testing. I highly recommend A-Z Electric technicians for their professionalism, friendliness and communication skills.

    These guys are fantastic! Doesnt matter whether they work inside or outside, they never leave a mess. They respond to requests quickly. Installations and repairs are done efficiently. And, their prices are reasonable.

    A-Z Electric was fantastic! The original electrician that came in to give me a quote really seemed like he cared and was working with me to try and figure out what would work and how it could be done. He gave several bits of advice and even noticed my main panel and water heater were not grounded properly and added that for cheap.Steve and his partner came in to work on the several rooms including recessed lights, many outlets and ethernet and they were able to get it done in 3 days with very minimal damage to the house. Out of everything installed they only had to make 2 small holes in the ceiling to feed wire through for the recessed lights.A-Z electric had the lowest quote of the 3 I got and seemed the most knowledgable and the most friendly. Highly recommend!

    I wish I could give 10 stars for A-Z Electric. They were absolutely amazing from the initial consultation to the final appointment when the Generac was started for the first run. We did not have an easy situation for the installation. But we were SO happy with each and every tech who came to our house to spend a lot of hours working on the installation. They were professional, personable, knowledgeable, careful and fun to work with and it was during that horrible heat wave of 2024. It was a very big investment, but in the end, very well worth the research I did to decide to use A-Z Electric for our Generac installation. They were not pushy with the sale or upset at all to have to work in the insane heat wave. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMNEND Devon and his crew!!!

    I used A-Z Electric to purchase and install a Generic Generator, 2 new outdoor outlets and a gas line for a natural gas BBQ, no more propane tanks, lol. I had several estimates and A-Z gave me the best price. They came exactly when they said they would, both teams, Electrical and Plumbing, were very polite and professional. On the day of installation it was pouring rain and cold, I thought for sure they would reschedule the installation but instead they set up work shelters 123 and got right to work. Everything went smooth and on time and they were able to get me a 10 year warranty on the Generic Generator.     AZ has been servicing my residence as well as the complete install on my new large country house/farm including media room work and generator install.Recently i had the cable company do some work and they could not believe the professional way the electrical work was installed.After the job... AZ has been completely available to answer questions and follow up on any changes or additional work i requested.Its a family run business and after so many years they treat me like i am part of the family.AZ is not afraid to take on any electrical challenge... and i have taken them on some wild requests.I have referred AZ to many friends especially after Sandy for Generator installs and service.     We chose A-Z Electric to upgrade our electrical panel from 100 to 200 amps after getting estimates from a few companies. We have a 1948 Cape Cod and started having problems with lights flickering when other items were in use. We chose to also add four dedicated lines for a freezer, the washer, my husband’s computer and my office. Pawel and Devon, who work in the office, and I kept each other informed of updates from PSE&G, the town regarding permits, scheduling the date for the install and the inspection. They are both a pleasure to work with and handled all paperwork. They helped me understand the process of this job from beginning to end. Their experience shows! And yes I researched A-Z as I do any company who works on our home.The date of the install was December 1, 2022. The crew of five guys showed up promptly at 8am and got right to work. First thing they did was put down tarps from the front door to the top of my basement steps. My basement is unfinished with an open ceiling. They also wore paper booties when they deemed it necessary. Two guys worked on the outside upgrading the wiring from the top of the supply line where it attaches to the house to where it comes into the basement and the meter box. Our old rusty conduit pipe was replaced with PVC. The other three guys got busy working on the inside removing our two old circuit breaker boxes, installing the large new one and running new lines. They also added new ground posts and wires for code. Everything went beautifully. The crew worked so well together. Constant communication. They were very informative and nice enough to answer an old ladys questions and concerns. They also felt free to ask me questions about location of receptacles, etc. They were amazingly clean. Any mess from installation was cleaned up before they left. They also filled the hole from the entry of our old supply line into the basement with hydraulic cement. I was also very impressed that Steve and Taki(sp) took the time to label the breakers in the new panel. This will help so much in the future. Steve also explained that the new dedicated breakers had their GFI incorporated into them instead of the outlet and what to do if one tripped. He also explained how the surge protector attached to the new box works and gave me warranty papers.Inspection is next and date is set. Photos are attached. Installing the outlet to my office on the first floor had to fit in a tight space between the pipes for our hot water heater, the pipes going to a second floor radiator and a cable line. I was amazed. I hope it shows in the photo. I highly recommend this company.

    I have been a long time customer of A-Z Electric. I call them for all of my home electrical needs and they travel far to get to me. Most of their electricians I have gotten to meet over the years and they are all fully competent in their trade. I have never had any complaints and they are very reasonable with their rates. They always clean up after themselves and leave no clues that anyone was ever here doing work. After many years I decided to bite the bullet and opted for a whole house generator that from the beginning I knew I would be using them for the install and for the upkeep.     Recently completed a project with A-Z Electric which included but was not limited to: installation of recessed lighting in my living room, mounting a television with new outlets, installation of new ring motion lights around the perimeter of the house, upgrading to decor switches and outlets, and a light fixture installation. EXTREMELY satisfied with the quality of work and customer service. A-Z is a family owned business. Devin and his wife Kim ensure that you get a timely in person estimate and fair/competitive price. Devin called me to review the items in the estimate before sending it to me to be sure everything that I wanted done was captured and to answer any questions I had. I was put on their schedule and a few days before A-Z was scheduled to come I got a phone call to remind me of the appt. Steve and another A-Z electrician came to complete the work. They were on time, professional, and courteous. Steve kept communication with me through each phase of his work. Once he completed, the lighting layout for the recessed lighting he called me while i was at work to ensure I was ok with the positioning. Before mounting the TV he called me with photos to show me where he intended to position the wall mount. The work involved saw cutting drywall and some wire work but you wouldnt be able to tell because there wasnt a spec of dust of a wire shroud laying around when they completed their work. I have worked with A-Z in the past, so when I decided to embark on this work that required electrical, it wasnt even a question who I was going to call. Devin and his staff of electricians are knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. A-Z Electric is a contractor you can trust. They have earned my repeat business and I already have other work in mind for them to come back to work on. If you have an electrical project or need I highly recommend A-Z Electric!!!

    Excellent company. I have used A-Z for several years and have recommended them to friends and to the owners of the company where I work. Reliable, on time, friendly. Over the years they have replaced outdated outlets, added outlets and light switches inside and out.     I moved into a new house in the winter of 2017 and found myself without power when the neglected Generac didn’t start-up during a storm. I called several Generac dealers who were of no help, but when I called A-Z they troubleshot with me over the phone and got my unit running again. Additionally, I have hired them for several general electrical jobs around the house and they have always been fair, knowledgeable, timely, courteous, and extremely clean.     Prompt professional yet friendly service to install a whole house generator. From initial inspection and estimate to last permit sign-off, communication was excellent and immediate. I always knew what was planned and when it would happen. Workmen were prompt, polite, careful to use virus protection and cleaned up completely after the job.     The entire team at A-Z are very professional, astute and courteous. Their communication process and documentation ranging from when the techs ETA to onsite objective reviews (what happens now and next) were/are very comforting to me.It was a pleasure to have A-Z tackle my multiple needs; Generac install, EV (electric vehicle) plug install (hardwired), exterior outlet (dedicated from the panel) install AND clean-up all panels (prior sins, not theirs) therefore providing my family and I peace-of-mind.     We’ve had A-Z Electric (AZE) do work for us before. They did a great job on our generator installation and did a big interior wiring job for us as well. Both were done well, on time, and within the quoted estimate. This is the first time we’ve called them in a panic. We had a tree come down and rip the electric service off of the house so that it was laying in the ground. We emailed AZE that night (at midnight) and they responded immediately. They just needed pictures of the service to put the estimate together and had the quote and their crew out to us the following morning!!! As has been our experience in the past, they took care of all of the permitting work (we just had to drop it off) and spoke to the electrical inspector that morning to schedule inspection and ensure we could get power restored that day. The crew that did the work was friendly, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and followed up with me on progress of the job. They were done within the time they said and the site was cleaned up as if they had never been there. It’s no exaggeration when I say that A-Z saved us out of the pit of despair. This all occurred 5 days before Christmas. Ever try scheduling work around a holiday? Will absolutely hire AZE again, in a heartbeat. Thanks again Devin and the crew at A-Z Electric!!!

    IF I COULD LEAVE A 5+ STAR RATING I WOULD. I was in a complete bind today with Certificate of Occupancy issues on the sale of my house. A-Z has done previous work on my daughters home (of which she has raved about them!) in Cranford NJ. Out of shear desperation I reached out to A-Z and then were complete saviors!!! They rearranged their schedule to help me in my bind and I absolutely can not thank them enough for their responsiveness, professionalism and just being a decent business. In todays day and age it is so refreshing to have a business be so personal and adaptable. I would HIGHLY recommend A-Z!!! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart you literally saved the day!
