In 2020, I decided to build a small home on Lake Conroe. I interviewed three builders and decided Monte was the best fit. I was remote and Monte and his professional team did EVERYTHING I asked. He built me a home that after two years now, I still admire - all the crown moulding, the good banter on some things I wanted but he didnt (i needed that honest feedback). He made sacrifices when certain delays hit during COVID. Monte even had the TV remounted so not one cord was visible. The entire team (Jeri and Bobbi) plus the outside team including Wendy and Stephanie were exactly what this rookie needed. If I need anything, they always are there to help me...even two years after moving in! Thanks Monte & Jeri Smith.

Monte Smith is one of the true home designers in Montgomery County. He has built multiple homes for me over the years. Each was designed to fit are specific requirements. His knowledge of framing almost any style gives him an edge on standard home designs. Vaulted ceilings, gabled roofs, in any combination are his stock and trade. He can create a home in any style. I know he is popular with other builders in the area that dont have his designing skills. Tour a few of his houses and you will immediately see it for yourself. He is also one the best builders Ive ever known, loved by virtually all of his past clients... a lot of us know each other because we live in the neighborhoods that have a lot of his homes. Start with Monte Smith if you want someone who can build your ultimate dream house. He did for me... three times!

Monte is an amazing designer and builder. He has enormous integrity and patiences which he definitely needed in 1994 when he built our home, my parents, and my in-law’s all for completion within weeks of each other. My Dad was on the job sites almost every day. Monte has such patience with Dad of which they formed a further bond of friendship.This was not our first experience of building a custom built home however it was the first great one with an amazing builder who really cares about his clients. We have been referring since move in date October 1994.

Monte just recently designed and built our 2nd primary home. The first in 1995 where we lived for 24 years and the second completed in 2018. He is so very talented as a designer leaving no space wasted.I have loved my “cooks kitchens” at both houses with the innovative cabinet designs easing your time there. He researches any out of the ordinary ideas you may have and expertly implements them. He very much cares about his clients and his craft.

We went to Monte in 2012 to design our new home. He was very patient with us and listened to our likes and dislikes. We ended up with a beautiful home with a wonderful layout. We have loved our home for the past 5 1/2 years and truly utilize every space!

Monte rebuilt our home after a tree went through the roof during hurricane Ike. Due to extensive damage he had to rebuild from the slab up approximately 1/3 of the house. The rest of the house was gutted and rebuilt. He rebuilt our house on the same slab with design changes to the master closet that were incredible. He also converted the formal dining room to a study. All in all it was a great and positive experience.
