Working with the Owens Construction crew was like working with family. Chris and crew put up with my 4 dogs always needing attention and Pam helped me navigate the never ending decisions and details. Communication was great, and timeline was adhered to. When decisions needed made, they always offered me a couple options to include a more cost effective plan to keep me on budget. It was very apparent that they have great attention to detail and were always concerned with providing the highest quality of finished product. The whole process was very well organized and Im thrilled with my new ensuite addition and restructuring of my first floor! I highly recommend Owens and all their contractors. Owens did our 2 story addition and did an amazing job! From beginning to end they were great to work with and will definitely be the only company we use on any of our future projects. We interviewed 5 different design/build firms and Owens was the clear winner. Everyone was professional and so knowledgeable, from Pam, the Cruise-Director, who was upfront about all costs and provided updates and spreadsheets at every step of the way, to Chris, the hard at work master carpenter, who was always glad to explain things and even found us extra closet space (!!!) within the design, and everyone else who worked on our project too (thank you!)! They even finished 2 months ahead of the initial projected timeline and we are now happily living in our much bigger space! A++ all around!

We hired Owens Construction to do a project converting our garage to living space. Everything was very professionally done from planning and quotes through construction and inspections! The rooms turned out great, we really appreciated the quality of their work. We have used Owens for a few different projects over the years, most recently, February, 2023. Owens remodeled our hall bathroom. The projcet lead, David, was kind and easy to communicate with. The plumber, the tile crew and electricians were all easy to work with. They were on time, mindful of normal life in our house and they did a good job clenaing up at the end of their day. Pam, the Cruise Director, was wonderful to work with. She had great insight as to what would work to stay within our budget, she had great resources to shop for tile & fixtures. This project and the two previous ones, went very smoothly. I would recommend Owens for your remodeling project!

We hired Owens Construction to help with our living room remodel project. I think that they are the perfect sized company for this (not so large that you are just a number in line, and not so small that they dont have enough people specializing in whatever you need.) The handful of employees that we got to know during the project were all friendly, professional, and responsive. We could not be any happier with the process or the end result. I would definitely use them again!

We just used Owens Construction for the second time and we are again very happy! They did a bathroom remodel for us. They communicated all unexpected changes to us and worked hard to get us back in our bathroom as quickly as possible. We are very happy with them and would recommend them again. My original review from five years ago: Owens Construction did a wonderful kitchen remodel and added a bath for us in the fall of 2015. It took us a long time time settle on a design that made for a more functional and modern kitchen while fitting in with the style of our 1908 house. They were helpful and patient in this process. The quality of their work is excellent. Their employees felt like family by the end of the project, and they had our complete trust. They communicated changes and delays with us throughout the process. We love our new kitchen and bath, and wed highly recommend them.

I chose Owens Construction for two reasons: 1) I was impressed with photos of their recently completed remodeling projects, and 2) I’ve known the owner for many years and I trust him completely. We were not disappointed! They were extremely professional, they did the project on time and with minimal disruption to the household and neighborhood, and the quality of their work was top-notch. I recommend Owens Construction to anyone who wants a quality job done right, from start to finish, on time. They handled everything: design, permits, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, duct work, flooring.

David also was very responsive and helped coordinate the subcontractors. We are thoroughly satisfied with the finished product and will absolutely have them help us with future remodel projects.

Owens Construction added a room to our house and did a wonderful job. The room looks as if it was part of our original build in 2012, and the quality is outstanding. The only real issue with the project was how long it took to complete, which was partly on weather, partly on Owens, and partly on us. However, patience comes to those who wait and it was well worth it! Thanks to Mike, Dave, and Pam for making the overall experience a pleasure!

We used Owens Construction for a large remodeling project in our late 1960s Worthington home after getting referrals from others in our neighborhood who also had a great experience with them. We removed a wall, a portion of another wall, reconfigured our kitchen, added and refinished entire first floor flooring and updated 2 bathrooms. Chris and Tyler were really great to work with, Pam helped guide us through the process and I truly enjoyed their subcontractors. They respected our timelines as much as possible, scheduled disruptive work when we were out of town, and the quality of their work is top notch. Chris made everything I asked for happen, he took my vision and made it real. I actually miss seeing them, but Im grateful the work is done and we can sit back and soak in our updated, more functional space. Thank you Owens.

From the first meeting to the final walk through, everyone at Owens Construction was great to work with.Bill and Betsy Owens are easy to talk to and listened to what the needs/desires were for our project. Pam, Russ, Eric and the rest of the staff made the process very easy and stress free. It was nice knowing that we could leave our home and not worry about who was working inside while we were gone. Its rare to find a company that takes pride in not only their work, but the work of the subcontractors they hire. I would highly recommend Owens Construction for any remodeling project and will use them again without hesitation.

Each member of the Owens Construction team handled every step of the process with complete professionalism. All communications whether in person, on the phone, or via email were timely, clear, and friendly. Each member of the Owens Construction team (including subcontractors selected by Owens) made the process easy to understand and offered helpful options as to our choices and how to make a beautiful and lasting impact. Owens Construction produced a high quality renovation of our kitchen and master bathroom from old and dated utilitarian spaces to new and contemporary areas that we enjoy using with friends and family and which showcases the beauty of our home. The turn-around time and cost of our projects were competitive and very reasonable. If you are seeking contracting services, Owens Construction earned our highest recommendation!

Owens Construction did wonderful work on our home. They did an addition for us, in which they converted barely-usable attic space into two bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as adding a front porch. This involved the complexity of removing the roof, adding dormers, and reinforcing walls, among other things. We could not be more pleased with their work. It is outstanding. They went above and beyond with every detail. Plus they were a pleasure to have in our home and neighborhood. We trust them completely and recommend them without hesitation.

Everyone is professional, considerate and trustworthy! They managed a large portion of the remodel while we were out of town for 2 weeks, which meant the world to me and my family. We chose Owens because of their design-build process. We talked to other companies and what set Owens apart was their ability to give us a high level design before committing to the entire project. They provided us realistic ideas and ones that fit our style and budget. Other companies wanted to sell high end thoughts without any idea of their potential designs. The design-build process is crucial especially for us as we are building an addition on our house. They handle all of the design and turn it over seamlessly to the build team.

Our thank you note to Owens Construction:I just wanted to send a note letting you know what a great job we think your team has done. My first thought when I think of the work that Owens has done is that at every step of the project we have felt confident that everyone has treated this project as they would a project in their own home. Anyone who Ive mentioned this to who is familiar with going through a remodel seems very shocked to hear this opinion of your company - its obviously not a common experience for people working with remodelers.For example, Chris created a temporary door latch for our bathroom that our kids used during the project. Someone cleaned off our garage door of all the dust created while people worked in the garage. Chris brought in packages while we were out of town and the guys were here working. Working around us and working with us may have challenged them, but everyone has been gracious and considerate of our home and our family. Weve invested a lot of our energy and money into this project with hopes of many years of time together as a family enjoying our new space. We are so glad that we not only ended up with a fabulous space in the end, but also have a lot of great memories of the process!Everyone we worked with at Owens should know that their hard work created a very special place for our family to enjoy.

Owens added skylights to a bedroom and remodeled the adjacent bathroom on my second floor last fall and expanded and remodeled my kitchen in 2019. The experience in both cases was excellent, from planning to execution. Pam and Mike and Chris and Tyler are a joy to work with. They are responsive and flexible and talented; the finished product was all I could ask for.

We loved working with Owens and are thrilled with the end product. Owens was recommended to us by our realtor who had hired them to do some remodeling in his own home. We contracted with Owens to remodel our 1925 dutch colonial home in Grandview Heights. They enclosed our side porch to extend our dining area and create a home office and constructed a mudroom/laundry room/powder room addition. Since our house is almost 100 years old, Owens helped us embrace its quirkiness and integrated new with old in creative and seamless ways. Pam, Betsy and Mike were supportive, responsive and great to work with. Dave was our main contractor, and he is a master at millwork and all those finishing touches. My husband and I love every bit of the work accomplished and would recommend Owens Construction to anyone needing work on their home.

We have gone through two rounds of remodeling with Owens Construction. In the first round we remodeled the kitchen, added a first floor laundry room, renewed the first floor half-bath plus a few more tweeks. We were pleased with the work and when we wanted to remodel the two full baths and master bedroom we called them for the second round. Despite a few set-backs (not Owens fault but suppliers issues) the finished product was wonderful. I really wanted a linen closet that could be accessed from both the master and hall baths (they share a wall), and they made it happen for me. Owens Construction is not a budget contractor...but they try to anticipate costs in advance and perform all work according to building codes. I highly recommend them.

Owens Construction Company provided us with a complete kitchen remodel that met and exceeded our expectations. There was a detailed plan that was adhered to through the entire process. All of the trades people and personele were knowledgeable, courteous, and detail oriented. There were no corners cut during the construction. I can personally attest to this from my thirty year plus experience with a design/build hardscape/landscape firm. Job well done Owen Construction!

The Owens Team is truly a professional, visionary team with a personal philosophy that centers on creating and collaborating together with the homeowner during the entire Design/Build process.Relationship building is as important as home building to the Owens Team. Communication, trust, respect and professional expertise were at foundation of a stellar project that seamlessly modernized my older Clintonville home with the creation of a Master Bedroom Suite, a first floor Powder Room, Den and a lovely, welcoming new Front Porch.As is the case with any design project, sometimes additional ideas pop up along the way. As the project unfolded and the framing went up, there was an open, ongoing collaboration on small artistic changes, like adding archways for room transitions and more. Whatever was envisioned, Chris, the master Owens carpenter, turned into reality!In fact, I am sitting on my new front porch this very moment, relaxing and enjoying my lovely new/old Clintonville Home!A hearfelt Thank You to the Owens Team for everything and Ill see you all soon when you begin designing and building a new front porch for my next door neighbor!
