    This hardware store is one of last remaining hardware stores as most have gone under due to the big box stores. I can go here and get things i need. Good inventory. Knowledgeable older employees can answer your questions and help, unlike a lot of unknowledgeable employees at big box stores these days. This establishment also will fix your screens, repair small engines at reasonable rates.

    We have lived in Berea for over 25 years and when we need some hardware our first thought is to stop at Brown Hardware. They have a large selection and carry not only the usual replacements items but even some unusual ones. We have yet to be disappointed.

    They have 90% of what you would actually buy at the big box stores for a very competitive price.You get quick personal service, super advanced knowledge, and you know what? If you need one screw, you can buy one screw.You dont have to buy more then you need, so you save in the long run.Highly recommended!

    Recently moved to the area and googled the nearest hardware store to me. Couldnt have had a better experience! I was greeted immediately upon entering by a nice gentleman who asked me what I needed. Led me to the aisle and gave his recommendation. Absolute perfect customer service! Will come here first for all my needs.

    Needed a new toilet. Old one would not flush well. Got quotes from a few, Brown had the best price AND, did the install within a few days. Job was complete in less than than 20 minutes. BAM ! So glad I selected them.

    Great service! People who know what your talking about instead of those other guys at the big stores who employ anyone who can hold a screw driver. Also they have delicious beef smokies at the register called Pistol Petes that are made right in Grafton, OH!
