    For the past year I had debated replacing my 28yr old windows when I happened to pass by Putnam Windows. I stopped in to their showroom and met with Janet and Tyler. They showed me the windows that would work best for my house. The info I received proved that they are very professional and knowledgeable. I purchased 17 windows and a sliding patio door. Janet put us on the schedule and when the time came Tyler,Phil and John showed up on time and immediately went to work. They were very respectful of our home both outside and inside, not wanting to damage any plantings or bushes outside or tracking in any dirt inside. They hauled away all debris and cleaned up daily. Watching Tyler ,Phil and John work proved to me that these guys are trueProfessionals when it comes to window installations. Our home has been beautifully transformed with the new windows. I’m so glad I had stopped by their showroom. Putnam Windows is awesome..

    100% positive experience with Putnam Windows. Tyler initially thoroughly described the process and the new windows. During installation, Tyler, Phil and John explained what they were doing, offered usage advice, and were generally extremely easy and friendly. Just as they had been described, the windows are much more energy efficient, and far, far easier to open, close, and clean than the old windows. So happy to have this done. Thank you Putnam Windows!     Putnam Windows just completed replacing all of my windows. From the first time my husband and I walked into their showroom we were impressed. They have a large selection of window samples, as well as glass shower enclosures.Tyler and Janet were extremely knowledgeable and Tyler explained, in detail, the product differences of the various manufacturers. Tyler came to our home and thoroughly discussed the details with us about our house structure and the specific concerns we had about the renovation. He gave us an itemized estimate for the entire job. We spoke with them and visited the showroom again before we made a decision on going with their company. We are so glad we did! They did a GREAT job. We could tell that the entire team truly cares about their customers and want to make sure they are happy with the outcome, not just satisfied. We also liked the fact that they respond quickly to any calls or concerns. No waiting hours for a response.We choose Okna windows. Phil and John were our installers and they were wonderful. They are hard working, polite, and professional. They are thoughtful about how they go about making adjustments, or correcting unforeseen problems. They do not just plow through to get the job done in a rush. They have worked for Putnam windows for years and have excellent carpentry skills. My windows and trim, both inside and outside, look fantastic. John and Phil also gave us good advice on maintenance for our new investment. They always cleaned up and left everything neat and tidy, even though they were returning the next day.I also used Cold Spring Shower Doors (Putnam) for a glass shower enclosure. They did a great job on that project too. Tyler gave us a design that was so much better than another companys and, again, Phil and John did an excellent job on the install. We were happy that went to them on a recommendation from a family member.

    Putnam Windows Inc. is the way to go from start to finish!! I had a blah window in the bedroom which was original to house and needed to be replaced. Janet walked me through their showroom and recommended the perfect window as per my needs. Tyler & his crew/Craftsmen came out and were professional from setup to the time they left. Window looks Great !! Inside and out.

    We had a great experience with Putnam Windows to replace our front door and sidelights. Tyler and Janet are so nice and a true pleasure to work with. Janet patiently showed us products in the showroom and was readily available for any questions and scheduling. Tyler spent a good deal of time at our home discussing our project. He presents all the options and aims to make sure that you will be satisfied with the end result. Tyler and his team (Phil and John) were at our house for several hours on the day of installation. Everyone was friendly and worked carefully to make sure the installation was just right, and our new door looks fantastic. I highly recommend Putnam Windows.     Got 14 windows replaced on my 70s split-level ranch about a year ago with Putnam Windows. This was a big undertaking for us; we got so many quotes. Throughout the whole process, Tyler & Janet & their team were a head above the rest in price, time estimates, window brand, efficiency, and courtesy.Its been so nice this year having brand new windows; they keep the house much warmer in the winter and much cooler in the summer. Could not recommend more!

    You can’t go better than Putnam Windows. Our project included enlarging and replacing four windows and a patio door. The entire process was a delight from start to finish. Janet was always kind and responsive in her communications. When we needed to change the dates we had agreed on she was able to accommodate us. The work was done on time as planned. Tyler and the crew are professional and highly experienced and were punctual and efficient. They worked in an organized and tidy manner and went above and beyond to protect the environment around them while working. The quality of the work is outstanding and the new windows completely transformed the space. Cant recommend this company enough.

    Tyler and crew just installed 15 windows, series 800 in my 170 year old house. They were timely, neat, professional and knowledgeable. They took their time and made sure every window was perfect. The stuck tothe schedule and did it with no delays. Extremely accommodating. Pricing was excellent. We cant believe the difference these windowshave made in just a few hours with noise. We highly recommend them and a few months ago, I had my shower doors replace. Wow are theybeautiful. Same crew, same neatness. Two thumbs up.

    Tyler at Putnam Windows has installed sliders, shower doors and several windows for our home in the Lake Peekskill area and we have been THRILLED with the results. Tyler is super efficient and everything is done to perfection--including the clean-up after the project. All of the window projects involved more than just window replacement (for ex., making openings wider, deeper, etc.), so there was some construction involved and everything has gone SEAMLESSLY.     Tyler and Janet are a joy to work with. Over the past year Tyler and his crew have installed 4 sliding doors and a new front door at our house. He is professional and responsive to emails and calls. Moreover, he stands by his work.     We have a great experience with this company with our replacement windows in our 50 year old raised ranch. The entire experience from the start to finish exceeded our expectations. They carry quality brands and install what they sell. They are punctual; communication is excellent; they delivered as promised; their crew is professional neat, clean with friendly he service. After reviewing dozens of windows we went with the Okna 500 series; the windows are high quality and we are very pleased at their operation and reduction in the heating costs and noise reduction. They look fantastic on our home and with the capping they are now maintenance free. If you are looking for a company that provides quality goods and services then Putnam Windows is the company you will want to deal with. We highly recommend them.

    My dad went to multiple places to find out if he could get a window repaired before he came across Putnam Windows, and hes so glad he did. The other places barely looked at the window before quickly saying they couldnt fix it. Not only did Putnam Windows fix it with no problem, but they did it within a timely fashion. My dad says, They even carried it to the car for me. Hes got a bad back and the window is heavy. This extra step of customer service was really appreciated. He highly recommends Putnam Windows!

    I cannot imagine why anybody would go to another company for windows. These guys were absolutely fabulous from planning the project to installing the new windows. I am extremely particularwith the work that I have done in my house and these guys exceeded my expectations. They are very meticulous and methodical.     Tyler and team came out and replaced all of our windows and the front door of our house and we couldnt be happier with the work. Theyre professional, honest, friendly, and patient. Being a first time home buyer, Im very cautious about big projects (cost). We had to replace everything as our home was extremely drafty. Tyler came out and took his time going through everything with us and gave us a prompt estimate. We took our time, did our research and werent pressured into anything until we were ready, which is huge for me. I highly recommend them.     When my wife and I met with Tyler for the first time, we knew right away that this was the company we were going to work with. We live in a house built in 1850, which comes with its own set of challenges. Even after getting the old sunroom windows out and seeing the sheer amount of water damage to the infrastructure, Tyler was never fazed. He showed us what they found; he showed us how they were fixing it; he showed us how we werent going to have to worry about these issues in the future. His team was polite, conscientious about our space, and entirely patient through my daily (and undoubtedly annoying) inquiries about their progress. The final product not only enhanced the beauty of our favorite room, but it also enhanced our confidence that our house was going to stay with us so much longer. Cant recommend this company enough.

    We just wanted to pass along our thanks to all of you - we are so happy with the new windows. They have only been in a week and already we cant get over the difference. We were able to keep the house much cooler when running the a/c this weekend. The a/cs even cycled off and didnt need to run constantly to maintain the lower tempature. Thats never happened - we were amazed. Also it is so quiet in the house. We no longer wake up when the garbage truch goes by at 4:30 a.m.!Pjil and the crew did an amazing job. They had a lot of prep to do removing blinds and shutters, which they did flawlessly. On top of that they put our window a/c units back in and I know that was not easy. They were so professional and the house was spotless when they were done. The new windows look beautiful.Thanks for the amazing job on our windows and to the crew for being so fantastic. You and Tyler made it all very easy and we appreciate it!

    If are in need of new windows or shower doors in the Philipstown area, do yourself a favor and hire Tyler. Tyler and his crew did a custom, new construction window replacement for my whole house in April 2021. The project included ~25 windows in total (cant remember the exact number, there were so many!), including 4-5 enlargements, four-panel glass patio door and a back door. I got quotes from Pella and Renewal by Andersen before deciding on Putnam. Heres why I chose him for this massive project: 1) He is a skilled carpenter, not just a windows installer. He worked with me to achieve the look I wanted while guiding me on where to splurge and where to save money without sacrificing quality or aesthetics. 2) He is the business owner/installer, not a sales rep. If he tells you XYZ can be done, XYZ can be done. 3) He is local and stands behind his work 100%. In fact, just two days after the installation, my husband broke a casement window by cranking it too far. I called Tyler and he came over that afternoon to fix it for free (even though it was our fault). Pricing wise, his quote was about 5-7% lower than the one I received from Pella and Andersen.
