I’ve been using Donovan Water Works ever since I discovered them in 2021. Theyve done several jobs for me of various sizes, including todays. Aaron and Anna were fantastic! They very quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and took the time to answer all of my plumbing questions.I love having a plumbing company that I can trust, that is available, and that does outstanding work. And I also love that they send me a text notice when theyre on the way, including a tracking link, so I can know when to expect them. Thats outstanding! They’re committed to providing excellent customer service, and it shows in every way. Highly recommended!

We have used Donovan Waterworks twice so far (bathroom and kitchen) and have been very pleased with their promptness and efficiency. This kitchen trip Danni fixed the mess under our sink and installed our new dishwasher and replaced our garbage disposer. We will be calling again soon!July 11th update. Aaron came and replaced our outside frost proof hose connection. There was very little room in which to work but he worked diligently and efficiently and got it done! Thank you! Now I can water my flowers instead of lugging watering cans in and out. Donovan is always responsive to my calls and communicative in their responses!July 31 update. Had a leak under our sink and Danni came and fixed it pronto! Nothing but good things to say! Im making a list of other things to have fixed/updated👍

Happy to find a new plumber and pleased with their work and communication. I was interested in a new anode rod on my 20-year-old water heater, plus another small job. Danni took a look and diplomatically told me my water heater was “scary old” — like double the normal lifespan. She explained options — no pressure— and I really liked her approach. So I got a new Bradford White heater, which Google tells me is a very fine, US-made product. … I particularly liked Donovan’s communication and use of texts to keep me informed. The company is personable , skilled, and uses technology smartly. I will use Donovan again.

We just bought a house in July and unfortunately missed a few plumbing issues with the home during inspection. Previous contractors had switched the hot and cold water lines for a number of sinks and toilets...as well as the dishwasher. Thats right...we had hot toilets. We had a few plumbing companies come out to assess for us and the folks at Donovan were BY FAR the most professional, knowledgeable, and affordable company. Not to mention, all 4 of the individuals that we interacted with were just generally kind and enjoyable humans to have in our home. They managed to fix our issues with far less invasive methods than the other companies suggested, while still providing us the lowest estimate. We will be calling them for any plumbing issue we have moving forward. I cannot recommend these folks enough!

(2024-12-07)Once again, Donovan WaterWorks has come to the rescue. An ancient, cracking, cement deep sink in the basement was threatening to create havoc. Donovan arrived the day after I called, assessed the situation, planned the removal (which required smashing up the cement sink), and planned the replacement. Along with the sink, there were plumbing upgrades that were needed to accommodate a newer modern sink. Its now in, and has improved the look of the basement, which adds to its resale value. Im once again a happy customer. (Financing arrangements continue to be available through a financing company, which I took advantage of.) Thank you, Donovan, and specifically, Szekery, who performed the work, and left my house in pristine condition, after a very message job.------------------------(older review:)Still feeling lucky to know Donavan WaterWorks!!My sump pump failed, and they were out the same morning to replace it.Aaron had the professionalism and expertise that I have come to expect from Donovan. Thank you!-------So Lucky to have found Donovan! I had multiple needs that had accumulated over time. The owner, Danni, arrived on time for a scheduled appointment to asses the situation, provide thoughtful, flexible, recommendations, and estimates based on multiple scenarios. I hired Donovan to do the repairs listed below, after discussing the estimate, providing a reasonable deposit, and taking advantage of a 12-month 0% financing for the balance that Donavan was able to offer. Donovan scheduled all the work for the following week, and when I needed to reschedule, easily gave me a new date a week later. They were easy to reach via text, and immediately responsive. The total cost was reasonable to me, and the final work was excellent. They followed all necessary COVID and hygiene protocols, and left my house clean. Ron was the plumber who did the work. He was professional, thorough, and extremely pleasant to work with. Ron obviously has a wealth of experience. We reviewed some other items that might need to be done in the future, and he provided sound recommendations.THIS IS THE WORK THAT WAS DONE THIS TIME:• the replacement of one old (ancient) toilet that would not empty properly• the repair of a second toilet that did not flush properly• the reset of a third toilet that was leaking into the floor below• the replacement of a kitchen sink faucet that was old and beyond repair, and had been leaking for years• the repair of a non-working shower faucet

I had a good experience with Donovan Waterworks. Danni Donovan was very aimable as well as very professional and knowledgeable. She completed an initial assessment of the quality and characteristics of my well water. Then provided me with recommendations on the type of treatment system needed based on specific water quality parameter checks. The installation team was also very professional and worked quickly and efficiently, and they left the work area clean and tidy. The treated or finished water is extremely clear and the results of initial pH, turbidity and conductivity measurements show no water quality issues. I would recommend Donovan Waterworks to anyone looking to have a whole-house water filtration system installed. This is a great company with a team of experienced and professional plumbers. Ive used Donovan Waterworks several times for repairs and improvements to my house, and at this point I think Ive had most of their team out on various issues (which my house has plenty of). Danni and her team always do excellent, timely work. They are always realistic about proposed jobs when doing estimates, and usually provide multiple different options for how to complete anything thats not just a simple repair. They also know a lot of other reputable contractors in the area for related work, such as septic, electrical and drywall. For any sort of water problem, Donovan is always my first call now.

I do not usually write out reviews, but Donovan Plumbing was absolutely amazing. They’re professional, knowledgeable, courteous and what they charged was a bargain for the level of service we received. We had a massive problem with a sewage drainage line one day after bringing our baby home from the hospital (truly awful timing), and they came after hours, staying until they were sure the problem was fixed. They also took time to explain why it happened and what we needed to do to prevent future issues in a way that wasn’t condescending and made sense. They’ll be my first call for any plumbing needs I have in the future!

They have installed a city softener, replaced a rotted expansion tank, installed a utility sink, replaced leaking washer connections, installed a studor vent, fixed a severe drain clog, and replaced old leaking & cracked copper drain pipes. I use Aaron because he has gotten to know my house from all the times he has been here. He is on time, professional, knowledgeable, wears shoe protectors, and cleans up the job site! As soon as I saw the van pull up to my house I had a good feeling about this company. The young man named Szekery, who came to do the job was very polite and kind. We had a leak under the kitchen sink. I was given a 2 hour time slot between 8 and 10 am when they would arrive. Always in the past working with any company whoever came to do the work always came at the end of the time slot. This company arrived at 8:30. A first for me. They also send a text to let you know they are on the way and when they will arrive which you can track where the driver is. Another first and very professional. When he came in the house he said greeted my mom and went upstairs in the kitchen to do the work. He figured out that the leak was just coming from a loose bolt or something simple like that. Tightened it and the problem was solved. I heard him tell my dad that he did not feel right about charging us as he didn’t have to do much. So he didn’t charge us! Who does that? I once had an electrician come out and flip a breaker and charge me 75 dollars even though he said he felt bad about it. He still charged me. Szekery was only here for 5 minutes and I never even saw him face to face because I was upstairs. I only heard him but His presence in our house and how he handled himself and the situation brightened our day. That is very rare in my experience for a technician. I really appreciate him and the company which is obviously well run and thoughtful towards their customers. I am sure they are doing very well. When it’s not all about the money and it’s about the work and doing the job well and being kind then the money will come more easily and in greater abundance because their is purpose behind it and a spirit of love and excellence which our world has great need of. I am inspired by this company and I was not expecting a leak under the sink to turn into such a great experience in my life, but God has an amazing way of turning everyday moments into glimpses of the light that is within all of us if we choose to show it. I am glad that this company is doing just that I will not look elsewhere for a plumber again. Fantastic company! God bless them!

(June 2023):As ever, Donovan WaterWorksservices were professional, efficient, and 100% + satisfactory. One of my toilets had stopped working after a water main repair down the street from my building. It turned out that an airlock had been created when the city water had been turned back on. The issue was explained to me and fixed within a very short period of time. As on their previous visit, great care was taken to ensure no mess, and service was friendly and super efficient!(Previous post):Danni arrived promptly at appointment time, and in was in communication about ETA beforehand. On arrival, she analyzed the problem, explained what was needed, and subsequently obtained the needed part for my very, very old toilet fixture, which had to be ordered. She then returned within the week to complete the repair. Danni and her aide worked in a highly efficient, professional manner, wore protective slippers over their shoes to help keep floors clean, and cleaned up completely after the work was concluded. Excellent service, excellent work!

They are very responsive, you talk to an actual person when you call. They were able to get us on their schedule ASAP and called to let me know the plumber would arrive early, along with a text letting me know who our technician was and that they were on their way. This level of customer service is almost unheard of these days and I wish more businesses provided this level of service. Home plumbing assessment: new home owner, wanted a full assessment of my system because it is an old house and needs... Well, it just needs.The assessment was thorough and the estimates were fair. I now have a plan to work from, and I am definitely going to be in contact with them to complete the work. In this case, a new hot water heater and the addition of some valves to make my home a more modern and safe place to live. Trying to decide if I should switch from gas hot water heater to electric and need to also price that. So many decisions, but Donovan Waterworks actually made me feel empowered... Not a frequent feeling when dealing with various contractors in my experience.Update 3/31/23: made my decisions and Aaron with Donovan Waterworks came out and did a great job with the hot water heater and the valves. Their was a minor to moderate issue after, and Donovan Waterworks did not leave me hanging and handled that, too. I am planning to get a new utility tub in my basement later in the year, and I also went with their annual membership, so will see them again. 10/10 would recommend. I had the Donovan team initially out to fix some sillcocks that busted due to my bad maintenance behavior and the work was excellent. While out, Dani pointed out my water treatment system was dying. At first, I was a bit suspicious, but when her tech independently said the same thing, well, had to jump. Dani came a couple weeks later, replaced what was a failing system, showing me where the issues were and the benefits from the new system. Unfortunately, removing the tanks was a bit more than she could take care of at the time, but her team came out the next day and off they all went. Excellent and courteous work all around. I recommend Donovan Waterworks. They worked in my house in Oct 2021. They installed a larger utility sink and associated faucet, as well as new shower fixtures that I bought. They were not the cheapest estimate, but their interactions and feedback on my projects made it worthwhile. I will use them again. I also really appreciated that they were very covid aware and safe.

Getting scheduled was quick and easy. Had a great experience with my consultation. Szekery was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had a 2-hour time window and he showed up within the first half-hour. Even if I dont move forward with this specific project, Im bookmarking Donovan for any future plumbing projects.----EDIT (9/4/24): (Cant make a second review). But Aaron A. came out to fix a problem with my bathroom sink leaking. Aaron was a chill dude. He was very transparent about the work that would be done and the cost, as well as warranty coverage. Once I signed off on the job, he went straight to work and was finished in no time at all. He even gave me tips about my sink and how the different parts work. Great guy and would highly recommend him and Donovan.
