My husband and I really appreciated the time and dedication that Blake did to help us with estimates. Both he and Jason did a fantastic job. They stayed after dark to finish up an outside project because they wanted to stay in their 3 day projected timeline. Which, they did.Both Blake and Jason were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and were respectful of the inside of our home. I know not all companies are like this, so it is worth mentioning.We will definitely use them again for a few more projects in the Spring!

From start to finish my experience was wonderful. I started by completing the online form describing my problem. I got a call a day later and I set up an appointment to fix it only two days later. Communication by email and phone messaging was great. Danny arrived on time and took a look at the issue. In addition to just replacing the GFI outlet, he walked me through various options that I could take to have them evaluate my overall home electrical system. I chose just to have the outlet replaced. He never pressured me into doing more. The work involved removing tile grout that had been placed clear up to the outlet cover. He replaced the outlet and everything is now working fine. If further problems develop, I take responsibility for that since I was the one who chose to do the limited repair. If I ever need electrical work done in the future, I will certainly call Custom Electrical Services to do the work.

Danny came alone with Alex today to install my ceiling fan in my living room. The guys were courteous, respectful and very good natured. They cleaned very well after themselves too. 10/10 – So grateful I found Custom Electrical!I was in the middle of an unexpected remodel when the company handling the project quoted me $5,500 to wire a bathroom that already had some existing electrical work. After talking to some coworkers, everyone agreed that price was way too high.I reached out to Custom Electrical for an estimate, and they quoted me just $1,500 for the same job! Not only was their pricing incredibly fair, but their technicians were fantastic. Danny arrived on time, was fully prepared with all the necessary equipment, and was really kind to my (admittedly obnoxious) dog, who just had to be his best friend. He completed the job in just a few hours, and I couldn’t have been happier with the result.Thanks to Custom Electrical’s reasonable pricing, I was able to have them come back and move some lights for a bedroom connected to the new bathroom, which wasn’t originally in the budget.It’s also worth mentioning that they provide a free safety inspection. At first, I thought it might be a sales tactic, but Danny assured me it was just a courtesy check. Afterward, he pointed out a few things worth updating—like adding smoke detectors in every bedroom and installing GFCI outlets in the basement—but he never pressured me to make those fixes immediately. I really appreciated that; I dislike being upsold or pushed into things I didn’t ask for. I’ll be making those updates over time as needed.Once the drywall was finished, Custom Electric sent another technician, David, to wrap up the project. He, too, was on time and finished the job quickly. He was great to work with as well!Overall, Custom Electric was one of only two contractors I had absolutely zero issues with during this entire project. Custom Electric (Blake) performed a service upgrade to 200amp service a couple of months ago to our great satisfaction. He returned today, at our request, to explain Generac Home generators. He was professional and friendly, with a genuine disarming style, while imparting his vast electrical knowledge in that welcoming, practical Midwestern way. We came away from the meeting knowing we had the knowledge to pick the right generator for our situation and knowing it would be installed perfectly.

They use a call center, and they dont know enough to tell you when you need to call the power company, I e , Mid-American.When they come w/o that help/knowledge shared w/you, you are charged a service call. Call center doesnt know that.If Custom would take their own calls, they would know to tell the caller such information. I told the Call Center where was the trouble, but it didnt help.The Reps who come are very nice and called Mid-American, which number is retained in my memory anyway.

He arrived on time, did a thorough inspection, and provided a quality estimate. My electrical request is multi-faceted, so each electrician had different recommendations. Blake was the only one who didn’t say that I needed to replace my breaker panel. Comparing the quotes is like comparing apples to oranges because they are for different ways to solve my problem, but it’s worth mentioning that Blake’s quote required a lot less money than the others.
