    I used these guys several times now. They always do a good job. On this visit I finally was able to purchase a Quietcool fan system. I had wanted one since we bought our home 8 years ago, but couldnt justify the upfront cost. We had just used a configuration of 4 high powered noisy fans to draw in outside air for years to cool our house down. I thought I was a genius and was saving a ton by doing it myself. I finally broke down and bought one cause we had to have our TV on so loud to hear it over the fans. Now one of my biggest regrets is not getting this 8 years ago. They got it mounted where I wanted and I got a nice remote control with a timer on it. I left it on medium all night at 200 watts and woke up to a 60 degree house today. The best part is it allows a house with 3 kids to be more quiet and we dont have to yell over the fans. Its about as loud as when the A/C was running. Highly recommended! Jim the owner has great communication skills and takes pride in his company and employees.

    This company is amazing! Communication was fast and clear. I had an estimate in less than 24 hours and a scheduled service date for 2 weeks later. (remodeling and updating work, not an emergency ) Andrew and Troy showed up right on time, worked diligently all day and did a beautiful job. Andrew checked with me for all aspects of the job where there was personal preference and was able to accommodate a few additional items.They were efficient, professional, and personable.     I had Elan Electric replace a bathroom heater and fan. The electrician was Daniel who did an excellent job. He explained the process .The work was professional , timely and not expensive. Clean up was great. I would highly recommend this company. I will use them again. Daniel was professional, friendly and fast.****This is a second review regarding a fixture installation that I just had done 11/18/24. The electrician, Andrew, did a great job, he did exactly what I requested. The installation was challenging because it’s a log house and I didn’t want the wiring to be exposed. Andrew was able to position the wiring where there is very little exposure. Very professional, was on time and friendly. I would highly recommend this company .

    Elan performed new construction home wiring and off-grid system design and installation for us. The Elan staff was professional and efficient. The original off-grid system was problematic and not designed for task, however, after a few months trying to get it to function properly, at our request, Elan changed-out the system to one built-for-task, which has functioned very well since. We appreciate that they stepped up and made the necessary changes and are enjoying the end result.

    Elan Electric did a great job with my meter panel upgrade. They ran into some technical issues on what was supposed to be a 1-day job, but Justin and Troy stayed all day and into the night to ensure we had our power restored that day. This was much appreciated since we had our baby at home and needed power! They had to come back to complete the rest of the job but worked around our schedule to make it happen when it was convenient for us. After multiple quotes for the same work, they were very reasonably priced for a licensed, bonded and insured company. I highly recommend them for any electrical work you need done!

    One if my 4 smoke/carbon alarms went off in tge wee hours of the morning!! Called Elan ASAP open in the morning. Jimmy answered and said alarm needed dusting & reset and ran me through what I could do, but I’m disabled senior and couldn’t. (10’ ceilings). Jimmy made appointment for within a few days. Technician Justin was on time, polite, courteous, professional, and efficient.

    I am so so happy! Now I can sleep, I knew something was wrong so I called Elan Electric for a second opinion. Jason confirmed what I knew happened, even when the last contractor swore up and down that it was my fifth wheel with the problem. Jason was so wonderful and not only fixed the terrible job the other guy did but also showed us other electrical problems that were in the main house box too.     It was refreshing to have the on-line and phone conversations about realistic solutions; no up-selling expensive un-needed equipment others say is required when I know it isnt. Within a day Elan Electric provided honest answers to my complex off grid power requirements and got the equipment. As it turned out they had the last 2 unique generators in the western US and did not jack up the price despite I took some time deciding - they honored the original quote!The Chino Valley Warehouse is a bit out of the way for the do-it-yourself people but it was well worth the trip. Great staff very helpful; they even helped me load up the generators and made sure my tiedowns were in the right place.I will definitely be using Elan Electric for future projects and upgrades.

    Justin was great! Install of lamp and dimmer switch went smoothly. Justin was professional and helpful. He listened to my request to position the lamp with label hidden in the back, and patiently explained the wiring to me, as Im interested in learning about new things and asked him about it.     So far we are happy with our Quiet Cool fan. The two installers Justin and his assistant were professional and knowledgeable. Since we are of an older generation we were disappointed that no one came out and looked at the house and walked us through installation prior to coming out to install. Due to circumstances beyond their control the installers were late. I suggested a text updating us on arrival time would have been helpful.

    Andrew did a great job for us. This is a second home and we cannot always be around when work needs to be performed. But Elan Electric always works with us by phone or remotely if we can’t be there. It gives us peace of mind that we can trust them to do work, even if we cannot be around. I needed troubleshooting on a circuit that kept setting off a GFI breaker. Andrew found the problem and replaced the bad receptacle. I’ve use the loud electric several times, and I’ve never been disappointed!

    Late last year I preordered a Generac Ecogen for a off-grid mountain summer home by paying a down payment listed on their invoice. In May 2024 the generator was installed. This company is trust worthy to make a prepayment at the time of the order and to trust them to actually do the installation. Final payment occured several days later. Their personel were easy to work with.

    The folks at Elan Electric are friendly, personable and as professional as one could ever hope. Their ability to plan successful repairs and/or installations notwithstanding, unlike many/most people in the business they actually follow-up when they said they would, they return phone calls, the show-up on the time/date they said they would and they treat YOUR home as if it were their own. (Many companies just say that, Elan executes to that mantra.) If you are looking for any type of electrical repair or installation, I recommend that you put them at the top of your list!

I scheduled an appointment, received a couple of reminders and the electrician called to confirm the appointment. He was running early and called to see if he could come early. We agreed to a new time, showed up as agreed, installed the device, went over its features and gave advice on its use. Would definitely use them for any electrical work needed. The price was reasonable.===================================================Update, I had them install lighting around the perimeter of our backyard pergola. It took an entire day with 3 technicians working as a team to get the job done right. They did an outstanding job, were respectful of our property, they painted the light channels to match the pergola and when the job was complete, you can only see the lights when they are turned on. They also did a thorough cleaning-up after themselves. Considering the amount of work required to perform a seamless job, the price was reasonable.You may be able to find a cheaper price but you often get what you pay for, better to have the job done right the first time.

    I lost power to the outlets in my laundry room. I hired the first electrician to respond to my Yelp inquiry, it wasnt Elan. After an hour of troubleshooting, he was unable to find the problem, but he still charged me the full diagnostic fee, and suggested I get someone else to give it a shot in case hes missing something. That of course was obvious because electrical current doesnt just disappear for no reason.I called Elan Electric. They sent Andrew out the next day, and in 45 minutes, the problem was fixed. It was as simple as a loose connection to the washer outlet. He was on time, found the issue and fixed it.

    Elan installed a whole house fan and an additional outlet on my patio. The two gentlemen who did the installation were very professional. They informed us of each step as they went along making sure we understood the entire process. I felt the pricing was fair and reasonable. I would use them again for any electrical needs I may have. One suggestion would be to check their trucks. After they left I realized they had a small oil leak that I had to clean off my paver driveway.

    Great experience all in all. Although I believe an attic fan with a 15 year warranty on the motor should have a power switch with a comparable warranty instead of the 12 month warranty provided. Think about it.

Shortly (about five minutes) after making the appointment (with Jim, the owner), I received (via text and email) the cost involved with doing the work. Joseph arrived early-after calling to see if early would work for us. He was extremely proficient at doing the work. He left no mess behind. He was professional, answered our questions, and was very nice. Quality alarms were installed. I received a paid receipt (for the amount quoted) while Joseph was still at our home.     Andrew of Elan Electric fixed loose wiring in an outlet box, which enabled the dishwasher to get power. Sounds easy. But he had to figure out what the problem was first. To do that, he pulled out the dishwasher, and also crawled 50 feet in a dirty crawl space, then checked numerous other outlets. Then he figured out it was loose wiring in an outlet 10 feet from the dishwasher. Kudos to Andrew for his persistence and skill!

    Monsoon season is the best season of the year, (in my opinion) but there are some drawbacks. In this case, a loud bang shook our whole office building; lights went off while some stayed on.     Elan Electric has completed electric work on our house twice now. They have done superior work, above and beyond that of normal contractors, both times. They arrived when they said they would both times (both service calls were 3 years apart). They were thorough and so quiet. There was very, very little disruption to our home. We homeschool and I carried along with business as usual both times as these gentlemen so kindly and quickly accomplished their work. For a quality and fair price they repaired our issues and left my husband and I in hope that there really are amazing souls out there running companies that care about people---not just profits. If you need an electrician, make them your first call.

    We own a small business in Prescott Valley and are currently having a problem with people loitering behind our building. Elan Electric has been superior with communication and customer service. They have installed a flood light behind the building to help insure the safety of our building and our peace of mind. They were clear with their quote, appointment and install. By all means I was pleased with the finished project.However the following day (after thought) I was concerned about the cost of the service. What I should have done was contact Elan directly to discuss the cost.They contacted me this morning and Elan is standing by their original quote. The professional manner in which this was worked out impressed me.     TJ Beatty and his assistant Gunnar installed two GFCI outlets for me today. They were very efficient, neat, and professional. The process of obtaining an estimate from Jim in the office via email was a delightful process.
