Carlos was very sensitive to our timeline and had his crew work around the clock to meet our deadline. He was collaborative, resourceful and found solutions that would work for our circa 1860 Georgetown row house that preserved the historic integrity and architectural merit - while customizing the project to fit the needs of our family.

Carlos is easy to work with as the General Contractor and ‘person in charge ‘, he demonstrates service excellence by putting the customer first , is flexible , responsive , and listens to the customer as each project has a unique approach , and customer satisfaction always as the priority .Very fair and competitive pricing and the quality is top notch ! The team on the job , every single person is courteous and does outstanding prep and clean up each day.We will always call Carlos for ALL things when we need work for contracting , and so will our extended family .

    We couldnt be more pleased with Carlos from Fine Living Remodeling. We had a large pergola constructed over a deck and a small window pergola over 3 windows. We had a few unforeseen issue which were very smoothly worked out. Carlos stands by his work and always follows through. His workers were always punctual and very, very neat. Would definitely use them again.

    Carlos and his team did a great job! They were very flexible and accommodating with scheduling and actually did the work over the weekend so it was no inconvenience to me and my work schedule. They went above and beyond making sure that all the walls were repaired and in good condition before painting. The colors came out amazing! I highly recommend this team!

    Carlos and his team did an amazing job on our two bathroom renovations. They were both full gut renovations and the primary bath involved reconfiguring the space, moving plumbing, electric, and walls. We are thrilled with the results!They paid attention to details (I’m super picky), cleaned up daily, and were very communicative. If something wasn’t right, he didn’t hesitate to redo. Carlos checked in regularly and was very conscientious of who is doing the work. The whole crew is trustworthy, hardworking, and friendly.We will use them again for future work and definitely recommend!

    Carlos and his team did a great job wallpapering my sons bedroom. It was a pretty complicated print (tough to match up in between pieces of paper, in my unprofessional opinion), and they did it perfectly. They were efficient, and when I hadnt ordered enough wallpaper and they had to come back, they did that quickly as well. I highly recommend them!

    We had Carlos Cabrera and Fine Living Remodeling do a number of renovations, upgrades, and repairs for us at Citizen Heights Church in DC. Theyve done both interior and exterior work. Every job they have done for us has been excellent in professionalism, service, and quality of workmanship. They show up when they say they will show up. They complete the work in a very timely manner. The cost is always competitive. But our favorite reason for using them is the customer service. Carlos Cabrera and his team are quick to respond and great at communicating details you need to know as a client. We HIGHLY recommend Fine Living Remodeling.

    What really sold me on Fine living was there commercial work. I came across photos of remodeling jobs they did on bathrooms for commercial hotels and restaurants and was so impressed. I knew if they were being hired for big jobs like that they would treat an individuals home with the same level of quality and professionalism.

    Carlos and his team did an exceptional job. Not only was the quality of paint up to par, but the service was precise and efficient. We ordered a whiteboard finish on one of our walls (which is a very difficult kind of paint). They used three coats to ensure smoothness. Every detail was perfect, no complaints!
