    Working with the team at JK Gen was a joy from start to finish. A year ago our family decided to demo, renovate and completely redesign our whole home. Every room and every area of the home was either given a refresh or fully renovated to create a beautiful but more functional way for our family and our guests to move through the space.I am impressed by way Jose, Christian and their design team listened to our dreams and our list of must haves in the design process. There are a few walls in our home that are unique in the concept and in the way it was built and executed - these feature walls are my favorites!I should also mention the JK Gen crew who worked so hard and were alway courteous and professional. The crew watched us and our children as we talked about the project and would make suggestions that might make this room or that space meet our needs in a better way. There is one gentleman who was in charge of the fine details in building each space; Carlos is a perfectionist and I am so thankful he spent the time making sure those finishing touches met his standards.This is not the first project we have done with JK Gen but it is certainly the largest. We are so happy with our house and it feels wonderful to live here. If you are looking to redesign your space and love the home you live in: we highly recommend you give JK Gen a call.

    I was looking for a contractor who not only delivered high-quality craftsmanship but also ensured that everything was handled in-house without subcontractors. From the very first meeting, JK General assured me that their own teams and crews would handle every aspect of the project. I needed a concrete walkway and slab done, and when I found out that JK General has their own concrete division and mixers, I was blown away. They truly are a one-stop shop for all your needs! Great company to work with—everything is done in-house, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Highly recommend!

    JK did three jobs for us in just the last 4 months. They replaced our concrete driveway and walkway. They repaired or replaced all of our exterior trim, front porch, and shutters. And most importantly they removed our old deck and replaced it with a beautiful screened porch and patio.They were extremely easy to work with and do outstanding work. Positives with JK:1. Unbelievable attention to detail. The owner visits the job site. The crews are top notch. The way they tied the screened porch into the existing structure was excellent.2. No high pressure sales either before the contract is signed or after. They want to build what you want. They did have suggestions but we never felt pressured to purchase something we didnt want.3. Excellent value. We received a lot of quotes and JK is extremely competitive and does not skimp by using lower quality materials or construction techniques.4. Excellent communication.5. Very professional. The crews care about their work and you can tell.

    We chose JK Gen. because we saw a gorgeous portico and walkway that was stunning. I knocked on the homeowner’s door to find out the contractor. We immediately got in touch with the company and have not been disappointed with their work! It’s awesome. I gave 4 stars only because the new front door took so very very long to arrive. It was due in July but didn’t come until August and could not be installed until September- which is not the fault of JKGen.The owner of the company is a master carpenter who worked along side his crew on the portico himself. He has different crews that specialize in different aspects of a project. It is truly a first rate company that completed our project to perfection. We’ve had a number of contractors over the years for various projects. Not one has matched the quality of JK Gen.

    We hired JK General Contractors to replace a retaining way alongside our driveway and put in new stairs/walkway from the driveway to the front deck. The quality of the work was spectacular, and we were pleased to work with them every step of the way. They clearly communicated with us, responded promptly to all questions/concerns, and took time to ensure we were satisfied with all design elements. The crew working onsite were very professional and kept the job site clean. They were hard workers and paid attention to detail. We would highly recommend JK and plan to return to them for future work.

    We first contracted with JK 8 years ago and we have gone back a number of times. We have done a large patio, a portico, walkway and driveway, screened porch, and a major exterior redesign of our house to include paint, siding, and other bigndesign changes. We had a 400 sq. ft. concrete based patio, including with a step down and a fence installed, JK Gen is by far one of the best companies we have ever worked with. Everything turned out beautiful, the crew was efficient and on time everyday, despite it being winter.     We had a very positive experience working with JK General Contractors. They redid our driveway, walkway and front portico.The driveway looks great, but the walkway and portico are the showstoppers. Everyone comments on how nice they look! Its been almost a year since we had the work done and everything still looks great.Chris was easy to work with, heard my vision and translated into reality. He was also the only bid who didnt just ballpark the price and quoted each piece separately so we understood what we were paying for.All the guys who worked on the project were friendly, polite, and loved showing me around when Id come out to check on the project.I will definitely work with them again in the future.     The project was a miracle job by Jose and his amazing crew. We made a huge mistake and signed a pool contract with a “pool builder” that ended up walking away from the project and filed bankruptcy. We we’re screwed!Then:Jose and Chris took over a mess and turned our backyard into an amazing paradise that we will enjoy for years to come.I would be more than happy to share my experiences, photos or come by and see it for yourself. Jose and Chris saved us and we are and will always be grateful. Jose the owner was all over this project! His guys were great!Jose was touching base with me daily.
