Used Bolt Electric to install recessed lighting in my living room. They came out quickly to provide an estimate for the job which was in line with, but cheaper than others. The rep was not pushy on trying to get me to do something I didnt want; he even went as far as to call home-base to see when they could do the work if I decided to go with them. Upon hiring them, the customer service was excellent. I called with a few follow up questions that were quickly answered.Today the work was done and Daniel, my guy, was excellent. He took the time to explain what was going to happen, and he shared his honest opinion about what I was requesting. Originally, I was going to install 6 lights for the space but he said it may be too bright, which made the job cheaper for me by reducing the # of lights. Before he made any holes he made sure I was okay with the layout and he asked which light setting I wanted instead of picking one ( I didnt know the lights had 3 different brightness levels). He cleaned up thoroughly and was done faster than I thought. I will definitely be using them for my electrical needs

Bolt Electric is incredible! I’m a huge fan now, and highly recommend this company for any electrical needs. Very efficient, arrived at our house early in the morning when they said they would and it was still dark outside at 6:30 AM! We needed a total replacement of our panel box including all new circuit breakers. Daniel Connell, the lead technician, called to tell me they were on their way…just like Bolt Electric’s text message to me said they would! Daniel and the other electrician started immediately. The job was completed before noon. Daniel communicated with the other electrician as he went through the entire house testing every outlet, naming every room, tested all the home appliances to ensure they were receiving electric! While Daniel did this, the other electrician labeled the breakers! Bolt Electric coordinated with our electric company before and after the job was done! Amazing!

Aiden came out, he is very friendly and patient. my house being over 100 yrs old was a tricky fix but Aiden and the bolt electric team stuck with it and charged a really fair price. took them about 7 hr to fix me up and they didn’t raise the price for such a long job. anytime i need electric work i have found my new go to

Lightning fast service and then some! I am just floored at the incredible service I have received from Bolt. Stephanie could not have been more professional and helpful setting up an appointment. My experience couldnt have been more smooth and professional. From scheduling to arrival, I worked with the team who were kind and easy to work with. The techs arrived and were kind and professional and had personalities...not robots. They did a look around after telling them what I was wanting to do. They gave an estimate and explained where the costs were going. I said I wanted to go ahead and they did it right then and there. Before they left they turned on outlets that were off for some reason. I went to shut the garage door and it wouldnt work. Thankfully the techs were still here. After looking around, they found that the original electrician didnt bother to do his job quite right and left a loose wire. Sam was kind enough to fix it for me. I have found my go-to electricians!!

If I can say one thing about Bolt Electric is that they get it! They are on top of their appointment set ups and confirmations with plenty of follow up. When they say they are going to be there, they are. No waiting around all day for a long time window. From Stephanie to Aden our tech they know customer service! Their rates are more than reasonable and they truly care about the quality of their work. I have used other electricians in the past that show up in a bad mood and try and price gouge. I will be using Bolt Electric for all my repairs, projects and installs.

Stellar performance from the crew at bolt. We had a bit of an emergency after hours. I was able to easily get a hold of Felicia. She was great and had a technician out to our house within 15-20 min. A new panel was needed. My mom’s on oxygen and needs power to run the machine. Bolt ordered the part, restored the power for the night. When the part arrived they promptly and diligently worked for hours to replace it. Thank you so much for your help. You are appreciated :)

Went online to schedule an appointment. The GFCI in the garage that controlled the outlets in the garage plus the exterior outlets one at the front of the house and the other on the patio in back. The outlet being 15 years old finally quit and it also impacted the breaker. That outlet also powered our garage refrigerator. The technician arrived just prior to the appointment time, asked a lot of questions, diagnosed the problem and once given permission to proceed the work was completed in about 30 minutes. He also did a complementary inspection of the electrical system and gave me a detailed report. I found Bolt Electric via a web search, and they were on the “top electricians in Chandler” on at least three different reviews.We will use them again and recommend them for anyone needing electrical work.

Overall very satisfied with response time and service. I submitted an inquiry online through the Bolt Electric website, and was contacted the next business day to schedule for a quote. The job is to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage for EV charging. The technician arrived on time and we decided to proceed with the install. The entire installation took 1.5 hours and it was a pleasant experience. The quoted price is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

It was a fairly complex design, and Bolt was very patient while details were worked out by myself and other subcontractors. When the time came to schedule the outage and make the upgrade, everything went off without a hitch. Bolt coordinated SRP, city of Mesa, and their team, so that everything was done in a timely manner. Their quality is excellent, I am extremely particular, and I could not have done a better job myself.

They have installed pocket lights and fans in places that never had any lighting as well as fixed some outlets that were not working properly. They are easy to schedule with and dont have a long wait. Matt, the technician, was very friendly and kind. Also you can pay woth credit card which makes it more convenient. Also when they installed pocket lights, I felt they had left a bigger hole than the light. So they scheduled a dry wall guy to fix it fee of charge. They have a gal that calls you after the job is done to make sure you are satisfied with the work that was done and if you are not they get someone to make it right.

When Terin R. arrived he asked me a few questions, surveyed my existing setup, explained exactly what work he would be performing and gave me a quote. I was quoted a few dollars less by another company, but the professionalism, knowledge, politeness and overall confidence I had in this electrician is what sold me. I even told him this. Of course, Terin R. did an outstanding job and answered my questions, which expressed me even more. I have used other electricians in the past and often felt that the company just grabbed someone off the street and sent them to my home. This is not the case with Bolt. Updated again for 2024: Bolt called me after seeing my review regarding the fingerprints on my ceiling and were super kind enough to offer to come back since they were in the area to clean things up for me. I did decline as I’m having drywall work done so it’s messy anyways but I was beyond thankful for them to reach out and make that small thing right. 10 stars if I could!Updated review for 2024: I had such a great experience with Bolt before so I decided to go with them for another big project. I had 6 slim recessed lights and a ceiling fan installed in a new area with no previous wiring. I also had two other ceiling fans replaced. And Daniel and the rest of the crew knocked it out of the park!They came in ready to work so I got right to going through the original quote with them to ensure we were all on the same page, I even added some additional work and they were able to fit it in to my appointment with an adjustment to my remaining balance from the quote and they were off.A few hours later and the work was complete and they were fantastic! Everything looks and works great. My only gripe is that they left a few finger prints (dirt) on my ceiling that I’ll have to get a ladder to clean off at some point. But the main point of this post is to shout out how awesome they were end to end.I will continue to give my business to Bolt Electric.Previous 5 star review: Ive tried to work with a few other electricians / companies and there has been some sort of issue whether its scheduling, or lack of clarity, or just super delayed responses. Bolt Electric has been beyond amazing to work with since I first contacted them via Yelp.To start, Stephanie has been super kind and very responsive when it comes to scheduling, answering questions, and letting me know when an electrician is on their way. This started things off on the right foot for sure!Then my electrician Sam arrived. Wow is he AWESOME! Sam was very patient with every little question and request I had while also being extremely clear and informative with every answer. I had Sam out to do an estimate on some panel maintenance / safety check and adding a new EV charger / Circuit to my garage.I then had some additional questions and asked he come back out to discuss some additional changes to what I was originally thinking. Stephanie was kind enough to have him come back out a week later so we could continue the conversation and add additional work. While Sam was out to change my estimate I had him install two ceiling fans one of which had some iffy looking wires in the ceiling box. He knocked it out quick and inspected the wiring to make sure all was good and safe.We have not moved forward yet with any larger work related to my panel maintenance or EV circuit but my wife and I are super happy with the quality of the work so far (based on my fans), the professionalism of Sam and Stephanie, and just being all around kind people. This outfit is top notch. I had previously contacted my home warranty company due to half of one circuit not working. The so called electricians that showed, barely looked at anything and wanted to start cutting into my walls which I would have had to pay for. I told them to pound sand, I was more harsh. Samuel and Matthew did an excellent job. Very thorough, quick quote process. I own a small business and Im very intuitive, I know when Im getting bunk and when people are honest. These people know what theyre doing, and theyre intention is honest and good. We had another company come in before them who was suggesting all sorts of work that didnt need to happen, they would have cost us unnecessary contracting work if we had went with them - and, they were listed as one of the best & largest residential / commercial companies in the valley on Google. 1000s of positive reviews. We turned them away, and contacted Bolt. We found out what we suspected was confirmed when Bolt came to do the estimate, that we were told a # of things wrong by the former technician in their approach of doing the work. Bolt was able to finish the job to install a dedicated line and outlet for a large appliance that day with only one small 3x3 hole in our wall - not 20 holes like the other company said was necessary b/c they didnt opt to go up in our crawl space, because he couldnt fit up there, so they didnt bother suggesting it to us, and did our estimate instead incorrectly to accommodate that - which isnt right. He also made a # of other errors Steve and Matthew pointed out in how he recommended we do the job. Bolt also had no fee for the estimating process - they offered that free, unlike the other company. Bolt got the job done honestly, efficiently & cost effectively, which just goes to show you - the best results dont always come from what may appear to be the best just because theyre the biggest company. Bigger isnt always better. Thank you, Bolt!
