Can’t say enough good things about Ken. He’s responsive, fairly priced, and shows up when he says he will. He got our EV charger installed super quick and stuck around to help us set up the app to get it going. Will definitely be working with him again! -

Ken from Kleaka was extremely responsive when we had an electrical fire. We called him and he came immediately. Ken continued to work on kitchen rewiring which involved much of the house. He was creative in his approach to rewiring so that we didnt have to cut into walls and re-sheetrock and paint. He was knowledgeable and well-priced. We will definitely be using his services for future projects! -

Our go to electrician! We have used Ken many times for both our home and rental properties, and we are very happy with his work. My husband is a perfectionist and is very selective with who he uses, he also shops for best price and Ken meets all that criteria. Great work, honest, reliable, reasonable prices, cant beat it. -

Kleaka Electric was recommended to me by Revco electrical supply. I called and Ken, the owner, got back to me immediately. I needed to have quite a few things done. Front door bell rewiring, remove and replace 8 foot track lighting and upgrade the entire house to smart lights. I explained the scope of the work to Ken and he gave me a fair price over the phone. We set up a time for him to do the work and he kept in touch, by text, to let me know when he would be arriving. He showed up on time, and did excellent work. This guy is a great electrician and loves his work. He was no nonsense. Got right to work getting everything done and left the place as clean and neat as he found it. Hes a very experienced electrician that I would highly recommend!The work was a little more than I had initially explained to him because I had the wrong switch for one light and he had to rewire things. I fully expected that he would adjust the final price because the error was mine. But, when he billed me, he didnt increase the price, I was pretty surprised and mentioned to him that I was OK with paying more because of my screw up , but he wouldnt hear of it. So, a great electrician, professional and knowledgeable, fair pricing, neat and clean work and he shows up on time. Thats as good as it gets!! 5 Star!! -

A long review (but worth reading):We needed a Level II EV Charger installed in our home. Because the garage and electrical panel are on opposite sides of the house, I knew it would be a somewhat involved (and costly) job.A local, well-established company gave me an estimate of $4k, which included them cutting out a strip from my ceiling to run the wires. The representative was at my house for about 5 minutes, found a quick route to run the wires, and explained that he had another appointment to get to. He left, and I reconciled that after their work, I would have had to hire someone to repair the ceiling damage (I’m not very handy) so I could repaint. There had to be a better option…My wife explored Facebook and found a local electrician with excellent reviews: Ken Kleaka. I gave him a call.Ken answered the phone and we spoke for a few minutes. He answered some questions, explained a few things I hadn’t thought of, and agreed to come the next morning for an estimate. As soon as I hung up, I knew he would be our guy (call me crazy, but I just had a good feeling).He spent time in my finished basement exploring various options that would minimize damage and concluded that the job could be done with only one small hole in my basement ceiling, which he could cover with an access panel (no extra work or $ needed). He also recommended a specific charger that would satisfy our current needs (2 plug-in hybrid vehicles) and be effective should we ever opt for full EVs. The previous electrician reviewed none of that; he just said they would provide a charger from their warehouse.Ken’s estimate was MUCH more reasonable, so we decided to hire him.He showed up exactly when he said he would, but had to stay later than expected because of some unforeseen obstacles (my house is old and not conducive to modernizations). Instead of rushing out upon completion, he took extra time to sweep up debris, patiently walk me through the APP installation, and ensure the charger worked properly. He reviewed all of the safety features (which made my wife happy) and assured us that we could reach out at any time with questions.Later that night, he texted me just to make sure everything was still working properly (for the record, the charger he recommended had excellent reviews and works perfectly).In the world of home repairs, finding someone trustworthy, honest, patient, efficient, and who won’t just try to rip you off is NOT easy. When you find someone like this, it’s truly comforting. We found our new - and forever - electrician, and I made a new friend.My advice: After you’ve called other electricians, received estimates, and graded the competition, call Ken Kleaka. You’ll be surprised and appreciative when we walks into your home. And you’ll be elated when you see his completed work.If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. Instead, I’ll have to settle for a top review and buying him a drink sometime soon. -

This guy is awesome. Ken has some of the fairest and reasonably prices Ive come across and actually cares about his customers. Im a actual customer and not a friend leaving this review. If your unsure of using him dont be! Rest assured your in excellent hands. All work was done very well and professional. Keep treating customers the way you do!!! -
