    When we met Roger Thomas, we knew Choice Builders was to be the builder of our new home after our first meeting. They listened to our wants and needs for the house, had built in the area and knew the special requirements of the property, and were enthusiastic about the project. An added benefit is that Choice Builders is a one-stop shop, handling all facets of the build.While waiting for the COVID economy to come down and stabilize, we began working with their architect. To help keep us on budget, Roger watched the building costs trends and consulted with us when he felt that we could comfortably start building.Working with our project staff, we were guided along the steps of a custom-built home from selecting our finishes with their interior designer to all the small details about the house with the project manager. Since we lived out of state, we stayed updated throughout the build with an app, called CoConstruct, that showed the budget, expenditures, calendar, photos and daily progress notes. Whenever we had questions or concerns, they were quick to respond and make any changes as requested.Our house was completed on-time and under budget. Even better, it was beautiful and exactly as we expected. The materials that Choice Builders selected made our home energy efficient and quiet while being environmentally friendly. We are happy with our choice of builder and highly recommend him to anyone building in Iron County.

    About a year ago my wife and I decided it was probably time to change our housing situation. We have 2 adult children who had moved out of house and we wanted to simplify our lives. We wanted to get rid of our 2 story house with a ½ acre yard and downsize yard and move to 1 level house with a more open floor plan.We met with a realtor and tried to find a house in the area that would fit our needs. When we looked around we realized that nothing that was on the market filled all of our needs without serious modifications. We then started meeting with builders until we ran into Roger Thomas and Choice Builders. We instantly knew that Roger and his company were top notch builders and people we wanted to help us build our forever home.We worked for months with his architect to design our house and find the design that would not only fulfill our needs right now but accommodate our transition into our senior years. Roger and his staff worked with us back and forth for a while before we came up with a design that worked.We then agreed to a design and the house build began. During the build we changed some things, added some things, took some things away. This was a very easy process due to their use of Co construct app that allowed you to send questions and communicate changes with the build team. All of this was done during a global pandemic that made it a little more challenging than normal but the process was as easy as possible due to the systems and people at Choice Builders.We found the experience of building with Choice Builders and Roger Thomas to be as good as it possibly could be. Lets face it, building a house can be very stressful and they make it as easy as possible. We could not love our home any more than we do, it is spacious, energy efficient and absolutely beautiful. As with any project of this size you will notice things that might not be exactly what you wanted and they have been fantastic to work with to get them fixed.We went through some incredibly difficult times while finishing up the house with health issues. This required us to change a bunch of time lines in order to make it work for us. Choice Builders were there every step of the way. This was a VERY stressful time in our lives as we were dealing with moving, building new house and major health issues. Choice Builders was FANTASTIC during this process making it as smooth as possible and being insanely patient with us. We have a gorgeous new home that fits us perfectly and will allow us to grow old in. We could not possibly recommend Choice Builders, Roger Thomas and his group any more than we do.     Choice built me a beautiful home in Cedar Highlands. I really appreciate the level of support and detail they put into designing a home specifically for my lot and lifestyle. Choice excels at communication with the owner, the coconstruct software and daily pictures kept me engaged and informed throughout the build. The entire build team was incredibly helpful and supportive, I consider them all good friends.

    We have worked with Choice Builders a number of times. Choice Builders recently completed our new Student Activity Center. on our campus at Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy. This impressive new building was a huge project. Roger and his team helped us through each step of the process from developing the original plans, making construction choices and the finishing choices. At times a project this big can feel daunting, but Roger and his team made the process feel streamlined. The finished building is BEAUTIFUL. We love it and our students love it too.Two years ago, Roger Thomas and Choice Builders completed two different Independence homes on our campus at Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy. This was such a wonderful experience for our school and for our team. From the very beginning Roger walked us through the process so we knew what to expect along the way. He helped us develop creative floor plans to met our very specific needs. He also designed some unique features such as light tubes in the basement to bring more natural light to a dark area. During the building process Roger was always professional. He respected our requests for last minute changes and because we changed our minds often, this was so appreciated. Roger kept the project on task and on time. Choice Builders maintained a clean building project which was important because we were continuing to operate as a school program during the building process. We absolutely love the houses that Roger and Choice Builders constructed for us! We would highly recommend Choice Builders to anyone deciding to build a home.

    We are so grateful that we chose to build our Brianhead home with Choice Builders. Roger Thomas, Rebekah, Jason & the entire team could not be any more professional, honest, hardworking people. They are organized and strive to maintain a realistic building timeline. There are details of their service that cost more, but every detail is worth it. We felt financially aware through the entire project. I have never finished a build feeling like we just made many new friends and that was our experience building this home.I would build again with Choice Builders.

    For years we had dreams of building a custom house in Parowan. When we decided to seriously pursue the idea, we knew the first step would be to hire a contractor. We interviewed several builders, but were immediately impressed with Roger and Choice Builders. Roger was extremely helpful as we laid out our vision for the house, guiding us in the right direction and ultimately coming up with a design concept we loved.Building a custom house has a huge number of steps and moving parts, and Choice Builders was great in helping us navigate through the design and construction processes. At one point we were questioning whether or not our dream house was something attainable within our budget. Roger called us, expressing his understanding about the importance of maintaining our original vision for the house. He got together with Farah (our architect), and both of them came up with some great design ideas that enabled us to stay with the vision we fell in love with. Roger—and everyone at Choice Builders, for that matter--always went above and beyond to make sure we were informed every step of the way. When we talked to many of the trades, even they expressed how much they respected Roger as a builder. They mentioned his attention to detail, especially in the area of energy efficiency (which we are now experiencing first hand). We would highly recommend Choice Builders.     We hired Roger / Choice Builders after having to fire our original contractor. We had several issues and obstacles to overcome and Roger had the experience and knowledge to give us the proper fixes to the problems we faced. Roger surrounds himself with quality craftsmen.     Roger is simply the best. We interviewed three other contractors before hiring Roger. We also talked to neighbors in the sub-division where we were going to build and discouraged us from the other three. We met with Roger at his office. He is so flexible with his time. After meeting him we both knew we wanted him to build our retirement home here in Cedar City. We were living in Michigan at the time and communicating would be important to keep my “Dream” on track. I call Roger my -“Dream Catcher”. He caught my dream and built it. I would recommend Roger to anyone that I know. His customer service is above and beyond anyone I have ever known.     My wife and I started our path towards our dream home years ago with Roger. Thru the years, Roger took our notes, comments, concerns and in some cases impossibilities, and put them to plan and placed a dollar to them. We were very involved with our build which required much discussion with his group and their patience was above and beyond. Rogers selection of there subs really sets them apart. Our home is unique is design which sets challenges for all the subs and their group, they will be friends with us for a lifetime

    Seriously...The Only reason Choice Builders received 5 stars from us is because they didnt have 6 thru 10! Choice Builders would have got a 10 for sure.I spent months looking for a home on the market, while my husband commuted back and forth to work everyday. I was starting to think it was never going to end. All the houses just seemed not to have the right fit for our well established family. Not enough space, not enough storage, to big/spread out, to small, to old, to this or to that. Thats when my realtor introduced us to Roger with Choice Builder.Our first impressions... Hes just awesome. You can tell with his amazing CAN DO attitude, and the way he carries himself hes up for any challenge. Even my indecisiveness, didnt scare him away. He knew how to make me feel comfortable with the hard decisions we had to make and was very professional to work with. He laid out pros and cons and let us make decisions. You can tell that he knows his stuff and knows what hes doing. He took my vision, likes, dislikes, my wants, (and my husbands too!) PLUS, OUR NEEDS. My Coastal Rustic and Hubbies manly, contemporary and made it mesh. He turned our house into the home weve always dreamt of right down to the kids bathroom so perfectly functional for a family with 5 kids! ;) Everyone that sees it loves it! I appreciate the fact that he worked hard to get our home up and ready so that my Husband no longer has a crazy commute, my children have their own space that they love, (They even refer to Roger as the Master Builder.) And, I have a place that is me and peace of mind knowing that Choice Builders built me a sustainable home.Having a Brother and many friends that have Served, some who still serve in the United States Military, and being an AMERICAN PATRIOT...     I moved to Cedar City, excited to build my dream home. I knew exactly what I wanted in my head: an accessible, spacious, single level home with high ceilings, windows to catch the gorgeous sunset views, wide hallways, and plenty of storage. Oh, and of course, a custom garage to house my full-size RV.Roger Thomas of Choice Builders not only caught my vision, but he improved on it. He delivered a home beyond what I expected. Roger not only built my home to be energy efficient with the best materials and skilled laborers available, he was also mindful of my budget and time constraints. I was amazed that he stayed on schedule and within costs. I now watch people literally stop in front of my home to look at it, to take photos of the gorgeous rock work, colors and design, and some even ask for tours.So many people complain about the communication and frustrations with their builders. I never experienced this. Roger’s online portal allowed me to see the work progressing on my house daily with photos and updates. I was able to make changes through a simple app on my phone that instantly communicated my questions or requests to Roger. I was able to watch the costs and make informed decisions on revisions as we went along. The build was so much faster than I had anticipated. Knowing Roger was there every single day checking on the progress and quality of work, ensured that the home wasn’t sitting idle and was exactly what we had designed and planned.This is my forever home to retire and live comfortably. I’m thankful to Choice Builders and would recommend them to anyone wanting a top quality custom build.

    I have had the opportunity to work with a handful of contractors and builders, having been in the industry all my life. There is always notable increases in quality when the man is on the job. When it comes to building a home Roger Thomas will not only help you with the paperwork, but he will be on the job with you along the way. Outstanding quality and attention to detail.My in-laws will be building soon and I wouldnt think of sending them anywhere else!
