    I had an awesome experience with Five Star Plumbing. I had trouble finding where to adjust the water pressure in my home, and even had SAWS come out to verify that the water pressure to the house was inadequate. I called Five Star Plumbing and they were able to send Abel to my house within an hour to take a look. Abel found where the Pressure Regulator Valve is for my house and also verified that the water pressure was low. He adjusted the water pressure and taught me how to do it on my own if I ever needed to make adjustments in the future. The visit was a lot less expensive than I anticipated, around the price of a family lunch! Thank you to Abel and the Five Star Plumbing team for the quick response and assistance!

    5 Star Plumbing of Castroville is who I call every time I need a plumber. My favorite person is Albert, he is very respectful and knowledgeable in his work. Albert is a senior plumber, he was here a couple of weeks ago with Matthew who is in training and he will be an excellent plumber under Alberts’ tutelage. Matthew is young with a good future at 5 Star Plumbing.

    My husband called 4 plumbers to come for a bid. He was able to talk to someone immediately at 5star ( rather than leaving a message). They had some one out in less than 2 hours. Albert Lara showed up timely. There were 3 things we needed done. Albert gave an estimate which seemed fair. We ask when they could schedule the job and he said he could do it right then. He had a helper with him. They were very professional and courteous. Albert explained himself and what he would do very well. My husband was very impressed. Great customer service.Thank you !

    I had the best experience with using Five Star plumbing, I’ve used several other companies for water leak repairs and Five Star plumbing by far was the most reasonably priced, great customer service and so clean and respectful of your property. I had the pleasure of having Albert be my expert plumber and he did an amazing job. I highly recommend and will continue to use five Star plumbing for all my plumbing needs!     First off, I was pleasantly shocked when I called to schedule a repair for my hot water heater, and the receptionist said they could send someone out in a few minutes. Ive never before experienced that short response time! Albert showed up quickly and did an amazing job explaining the repair and how much it would cost. It took longer than expected due to poor installation by the home builder. Nevertheless, Albert fixed the water heater, and even did a minor repair on our toilet for no extra charge!

    These guys are lifesavers. I had a minor emergency last week when my kitchen granite was being installed. The granite company told me the pipes behind my sink were too high and they wouldnt be able to put my granite in that day. I had already had it lowered once and now I was in a situation to lower it a second time to complete the install. I called Five Star and they had a plumber in the area that was able to come by and help me out. Albert was very courteous and professional and got me back on track to get the counters in the same day.Told them I didnt care what it costs and to start but they made sure i had an estimate in writing before starting which was awesome. I should have asked the first plumber to do that and i would have saved myself a few hundred dollars. Thanks again Five Star!

    Abel came out to give me an estimate for a PRV install at the main. He was prompt, courteous and gave me a fair estimate for the work involved. I started talking about why I wanted one and discussed issues with our current water softener. He was willing to give a quote on an install of a new unit with the previously discussed PRV install + customer cut-off lever. It was such a great deal that i told him to book it. He came out , on time, and promptly began to work. I was kept apprised of any necessary holes, adjustments an materials would be needed. When he was done, he gave me a great tutorial over all of the installed items. My wife and I could not be more pleased! We highly recommend Five Star.

    I can read & watch youtube to figure out most home projects, but I recently got in over my head trying to replace a 17-year-old kitchen faucet. I called Five Star and got a surprising quick next day appointment which was even earlier than expected. Chad listened to what I had to explain, took a look & gave me the price before starting. He ended up having to cut off some of the old pieces and the finished product was wonderful. Highly recommend.

    We had an unexpected water emergency Sunday morning. An outdoor spigot failed and we had to turn off our water so that the front lawn didn’t turn into a lake. Luckily Five Star was open and sent their guy out to us. He really took care of us too. Not only did he fix the main problem but also installed a water regulator as well which required digging a hole in the yard. It was labor intensive and time consuming and I’m grateful he was willing to go the extra mile for us on a Sunday AND a holiday weekend. He was also very upfront about all the costs associated with the repairs. Thanks Albert!

    Richard arrived at my home within 45 minutes of my call about a water heater pipe leaking into my garage. About 45 minutes later the service was completed and done well. It was a little past my one-year warranty but since the pipe was defective I was not charged. Richard also cleaned up all of the water out of the water heater closet and off of my garage floor. Very friendly professional and timely service. My plumbers for life!

    I would give 10 stars if I could. I had water all over the floor of my office bathroom coming from under the wall. I called Five Star Plumbing and had a plumber onsite within 20 minutes. A couple minutes later the plumber discovered a clogged condensate line and cleared it out for us. We discussed prevention tactics to keep this from happening again. Everything is now working properly and we are very happy with our service from Rickey Hendley with Five Star Plumbin@@

    True to their name I had a 5 star experience with Five Star Plumbing. My complete turn around from first call to service complete was under 48 hours for a non emergency pipe issue in my kitchen. My appointment was set and David was right on time. He was professional and started to work right away. He offered different solutions to resolve my leak which I appreciated. He left to go get the part he needed, came back maybe 20 minutes later and completed the job. I really appreciate the service I received.Thank you again.

    Five Star Plumbing is the best! After attempting some DIY repairs on my toilet, I ended up with a leaking tank and a leaking shut off valve. It was late in the afternoon, and I needed a plumber because I had to shut off all water to the house to stop the water from leaking. At first, I called my usual plumbing service but they couldnt come out until the next day afternoon. I called a couple of other 24-hour plumbing services and they too could not come until the next day. So, I called Five Star Plumbers and they were so friendly! Without hesitation, they sent Rickey Headley out within an hour! He was able to assess my issues and get them fixed right away. What a life saver. He was so helpful and showed me the issues with the valve that was leaking as well as some great tips on how to check for minor issues with the toilet flush valve in the future. My entire experience was awesome! They really are 5 star plumbers and they will be my very FIRST call next time I need plumbing services! I highly recommend them.

    Absolutely amazing experience and I will forever use Five Star Plumbing. Michael was terrific, excellent customer service skills, explained everything very well and taught me so much. I have American homeshield warranty and the first company called on the Friday morning I put in the request and said see you on Monday 9-3pm time frame earliest we can come. So I cancelled my AHS request and did another one and found this company. They were out at my house immediately and only gave 3 hr time range for arrival of tech. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Reasonably priced, went above & beyond customer service. Thank you Michael!

    I am very happy with Five Star Plumbing. I have called the other Castroville Company 3 times in the last 6 weeks (clogged sewer, leaking shower, and a burst copper water line) but they were always too busy and would take days to get here). So on this go round with the leaking shower a friend recommended Five Star. After I was put off by the other company that day again, I called Five Star. The phone rep was extremely helpful and seemed genuinely concerned. I explained what I needed. She said she would have someone over within 15 minutes. Ricky from Five Star arrived and was wonderful. He was very polite, professional, and generally a nice person. He looked at the shower, confirmed what I thought was the problem and gave me a bid. The fee was very acceptable. He had the part on his truck and had it repaired in less than 45 minutes. In addition, we had a leaking bathroom faucet. He gave me a bid, had the faucet on the truck and replaced it as well. Our hot water heater needed to be replaced. Not an emergency but needed to be done reasonably soon. He provided a bid with the complete job and a bid to just install it as I would like to buy my own. I will never call the other company. They advertise 24/7 service which is absolutely not true. If it is a Friday, you can absolutely forget it. So to sum this up, I had a fantastic experience with Five Star Plumbing and I will never use anyone else.

    I used the Service at 10730 Potranco Rd · STE 122. Julian and Ricky are fantastic. They installed one of my hot water heaters last year for me. I have an unusual water situation. They came to my hone several times until the water issue was resolved. They stood by their word of 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. I now now have to replace the other hot water heater. I am waiting for them to get specific items into the shop and then they will be back out to replace it. I wouldn’t have any other plumbing service. They are professional, knowledgeable, and stand by their promise.

    We encountered water in our home during the Febuary freeze this week! We called 5 Star Plumbing, knowing they must be swamped with calls just like ours! They answered and were honest about not being sure they could get to us that day. The very next morning we received a call that Ricky was on his way! He found the busted pipe and then found a second one, repaired them after telling us what it would cost, and answered all of our questions. He also gave us tips on what to do till these below freezing temps were gone. He was so polite and friendly...awesome guy! We have used 5 Star Plumbing once before and believe they are top notch! Five Star quality and excellent people! We won’t call anyone else! 😀

    They replaced a water heater the same day I called (and I didn’t even have to request or pay for emergency service). They came out within a few hours of my original call, got it all done in a couple hours and he work was super high quality, and they didn’t leave a Trace of mess. Spent ample time explaining everything to me in a way I could understand.I probably could have shopped around and found a better price, but paying a little extra for the quick and super high quality service was worth it.

    During our recent freeze my pipes burst and Albert from 5 Star plumbing came over as soon as roads allowed. He assured me every step of the way that repairs were underway. A real professional and very experienced.My main waterline broke a few months back and he took care of it very quickly. He also capped a leaking unused pipe in my backyard. I have American Home Shield and Albert from 5 Star plumbing was my assigned plumber to take care of an indoor plumbing problem and even though AHS didnt cover any outside plumbing I was so impressed with 5 Star Plumbing that I called them to take care of outside plumbing. Very reliable, reasonably priced and highly recommended!

    The technician was professional and respectful of myself and my property. He took his time to ensure that the carpet on the floor was trimmed to fit the size of the toilet. The finished job was clean and better than the ones two other companies did for me previously. It made me wish I had known about them before I used some big name companies that did a poor job for me. Henceforth, all my plumbing issues will be given to this company and hopefully they will send Mr. Lara, now my friend, to me. Just love this guy.God bless

    I arranged the appointment online to replace my water heater. The plumber called 15 minutes prior to arrival. The work and price estimate were stated prior to starting work. The work was professional and the area where the plumber worked was cleaned when he completed the job. Great job at a great price.     We had an excellent experience using 5 Star Plumbing. Their plumber Julian was friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. We called them to give us a 2nd opinion on a diagnosis from another company. They were able to come the same day. The previous company had told us we needed to replace our water softener, 2 heating tanks, a toilet, and a disposal due to mineral build up being caused by an undersized water softener. They quoted us $8200 for the job. Julian first did a chemical analysis of our water, and showed us where there was no hardness left after the softener did its job. There was no build up on either the toilet or the disposal as the first company claimed either. He showed us a warped piece of metal in the toilet tank, and a crack in the disposal which were causing the problems. Upon inspecting the hot water tanks, one did need replacement but the 2nd tank was operating fine. To repair the toilet, and replace the disposal and one heating tank, they charged only $2000, and were able to complete the work that night. After a week, everything is running smoothly. I appreciate 5 Stars honesty in evaluating our repair needs and their efficiency in completing the job the same day they came out to diagnose it. Also, Julian was great at explaining every step in the evaluation process and telling us WHY he disagreed with the first companys diagnosis. After they were done, I purchased a yearly service plan (it was not soldto me...I asked them about it) for only $120. 5 Star will be my plumbing company going forward and I highly recommend them.

    Their name says it all. Got five star service from Five Star Plumbing. Albert was on time, courteous and helpful. Although it was just a matter of restarting the pilot light on the water heater, he walked me through how to restart it if it went out again, so I would not need to call them back out. Very pleased.

    Wife called 5 star for a second opinion after receiving a quote from another area plumber regarding a worn-out gate valve in our garage.They showed up promptly the day after we called (it was on a Sunday that we called), quoted a very reasonable price, and had the issue fully repaired within a couple hours.Will definitely be keeping these people in mind for any future repairs needed.

    Had a great experience with 5 start plumbing. the plumber came on time, inspected the problem and gave us a recommendation. Both least expensive and the best way to go. we went with the best way since we wanted the problem fixed right.     They came to replace my water heater in record time because it was in bad shape. I had other jobs I needed them to look at faucets that were slow and toilets too. Ended up my water softener was in bad shape and I needed to replace because the crystals were in my faucets and my toilets. So we needed to replace the water softener too. We had had another company out to look at my water system and they couldn’t get the slim out of my (Is it Osmosis system?). We also replaced the one we had and he cleaned out the lines only this time our water is clear and no random gunk coming out of it!! We are very pleased and will call them again.....they were recommended by my neighbor. I called the number in my iPad but no one callled me back. My neighbor gave me the number he had for Five Star and I had a person on the phone and coming out....the other number I had was another company but similar name and they never called me back.     Great Plumbers. My water heater began leaking and ended up flooding my pantry so I went on the Internet and found a good water heater coupon from this company, so I gave them a call.     My air conditioning and heating licensed specialist Mr. Albert Lara was fast, efficient and very knowledgable. Using high technologically new equipment he showed me why my system worked. Unlike 5 other companies, I had a fine working system rather than needing to make repairs( 5-18 thousand dollars) or replace my system by Sears, and other blocked stores for expensive materials charges. I am glad I kept getting additional opinions. My system needs seasonal cleaning for approximately $50-$75 ever 6 months. Thank you Five Star Mr Lara for your honesty. He told me my system was great and needed no repairs.

    Ecellent service!!! We had to call a plumber after hours this past week, after several calls to different plumbing companies we decided to have Five star plumbing come out. The plumber that came out was Julian Hernandez he was upmost professional, efficient, and respectable young man. It was 8:30PM and Five Star plumbing was very reasonable in pricing for being after hours. They will be our plumber of choice from now on. I highly recommend them.

    Jacob and Ricky went above and beyond today when I came back from out of town to a houseful of water. I called multiple companies and only five star could send someone out immediately! My water heater had an internal leak, I expected them to shut of the water, drain the tank and schedule to replace later in the week. Instead Jacob and Ricky worked for hours, until 1am to make sure I had running water and a brand new water heater! I can’t recommend them enough!

    Paranoid about a leak in my kitchen I contacted Five Star Plumbing blindly. Best decision ever. Guys came out, they were neat and quick. I had a an emergency a day before I was leaving on vacation and the guys came out again and took care of it that same day! Worked the summer heat outside to resolve the matter.     Five Star is an understatement. I had been having some trouble with my plumbing for a few days. Not being a plumber It was hard for me to determine if it was a septic issue or clogged pipe issue. I thought it best to start with the most feasible and hopefully cheaper option so I called a Septic Company but they couldnt come out for a few more days. So I waited. Bought a portable potty and tried not to use much water. After the Septic people came we determined that I needed a plumber. Next thing is to find someone who would come today. and who also would go outside Bexar County. I called about 6 plumbers locally. Some had an answering machine, some numbers were disconnected and others could not come out for still a few more days. After seeing the ad for 5 star plumbing in my local phone book I decided to call, halfway expecting the same answer. The nice gentleman who answered said I will have someone out there within an hour. AWESOME I said. hardly believing someone would actually come out that soon. Sure enough and on time 2 nice fellows showed up. and took care of my problem without any hassle or effort at all. They made sure I was satisfied with their work and even did it twice at my request, just to be sure I was happy. The cost was less than 1/2 of what I had paid the Septic Company. I was and am extremely happy with 5 Star Plumbing and will be sure to use them for any plumbing need in the future and will recommend them to my septic guy as well as my neighbors, relatives and friends.     Mike from Five Star came out after America Home Shield sent out Oasis Plumbing to repair my tankless water heater. Oasis said American home shield would not authorize the repair and if it was a circuit board they would repair it for $850..,if the unit was damaged it would be $1650.. I called AHS and told them after 45 minutes to cancel all 4 of our AHS accounts when they asked if I wanted a second company to come out. I said Oh Hell Yes . MIKE fixed the problem with a flipping small fuse!! This company is top Tier and you can count in them!!

    If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I had a previously booked appointment with another plumbing company that was made in advance, that company cancelled on me last minute so when I called; Five Star came through for me and had Albert out there within 30 minutes! Albert was super knowledgeable and quick to repair the leak under my sink. He didnt overcharge me and just charged the minimum service fee for my repair, no emergency fee or anything. Most companies will take advantage of a woman but he explained everything and was very thorough and professional. I cant recommend this company or Albert enough! I hope he knows how much I appreciate the quick response and work that was performed. Will definitely be using this company in the future.

    I had a water softener system replaced. It was all put together and installed in less than one day! They had to move the washing machine to put a new washing machine box for draining hoses and he wiped up the floor before putting the washing machine back in place!
