He was always there throughout the project to answer and help me if I had any concerns and always made sure I was happy with the decisions we made.From the foreman Joe to the demo guys, the plumber Joe & Pete, the electrician Joe, the painter (amazing) Umberto, and especially Andres the (amazing ) tile installer.Everyone was very professional & friendly, the quality of work was excellent!As soon as I am able to redo my kitchen Joe you know I will be calling you!

My wife and I purchased my wifes childhood home several months ago. We wanted to update our master bathroom and closet. I have known the RWC Family for many years and had Eric come out and we shared our vision of what we expected and wanted. Eric is very in tune with what his customers want and with all of his years of experience he created the perfect Master bath and closet for us. I think in the home improvement business being available for your customers is paramount. And RWC is fantastic at it in every way. One of the greatest things about the company is that its a family business and Erics Sister Ashley was the perfect contact person for the project. She spent the time with my wife picking out the tile and cabinets and the shower doors. During the whole process she was there to answer any questions we had through out the duration of the project. They did every thing they said they would do and more. We now have a beautiful closet that is organized and fully functional thanks to their closet organizer connection. And when my flooring guy fell through they gave me a incredible flooring company as well. We have the Master suite that we wanted thanks to their incredible workers who were all so accommodating. If you are considering ANY project for your home stop in and see RWC first. The showroom is first class and Anthony, Joe, Tony and Ashley and Eric are all extremely knowledgable I highly recommend this company.

RWC was great and we now have a fully renovated master bathroom that we love. They were very responsive to questions and changes and the work they performed was very good. We are very happy with the final product. Its difficult to find a company that does good work and is responsive. Workers were respectful and would clean up well at the end of the day. It took a little longer that proposed but timelines are always changing depending on the job.We had an issue in the room below as a result of their construction. They went above and beyond in repairing the problem without any push back. Weve had other contractors cause similar issues, admitting to causing the problem and then got upset with us for they mess they made.RWC is a great team overall and we are glad we chose them to renovate our bath.

Google wont let me enter a new review so I will expand on the 5 year old review that is below. That review was about a large picture window we had installed by RWC and it still operates like new and keeps our living room nice and warm.We finally decided to replace our rear storm door that leads from the kitchen to the deck. Our regular kitchen door is a Dutch 2 piece door and we had a thin aluminum storm door outside of that. The cold air would constantly leak in, making the kitchen the coldest room in the house. Once we decided to get the work done, there was no doubt we would be calling RWC to do the job, based on past experiences.I should mention that they also recently installed a glass sliding door at our sons house and that room has never been warmer in the cold, cooler in the summer, and quieter at all times. Another great job by RWC.But getting back to our rear door. I wanted a Larson screen away door, similar to what we have in the front of the house. Per Erics recommendation, we selected the half glass model, as the bottom is a bit more insulated with the panel instead of glass going all the way down. Already I am glad we did.It took a while for the door to come in, thanks to COVID delays. The other day we finally got the call from Ashley at RWC that we were waiting for; the door was in and they could install it today (Friday 11/5/21).Ard, the installer showed up right on time at 08:00 and went right to work removing the old door. Once removed, he had to do some frame work, as the old door was not really properly installed (my doing many years ago with a cheap big box store aluminum door). He basically had to reframe the doorway to ensure a proper seal for the new door. Then he put the new door on the frame, added the hardware, calked all around and made sure it was operating properly. He spent much more time than was expected as he wanted to make sure everything was done perfectly.Ard is more than an installer; he is a true craftsman. Not only did he do the best job of anyone we have had work on our house, but he had an outstandingly pleasant personality.The work area was left spotless and the new door is functioning perfectly. There are no gaps or cracks anywhere in the frame that would allow any air to sneak in. In fact, when I opened the main door and just had the storm door closed, it felt like I didnt need the main door any more, thats how good the seal is.So needless to say, I highly recommend RWC for all of your window and door needs. I am sure their kitchen and bath remodels would be just as greatly done. This is the absolute best company I have ever dealt with regarding home remodeling. They are a very nice family and all of their associates are like family to them. Its so rare to find a company like this where everyone loves what they do.Thank you again to Ard, Ashley, Eric and everyone at RWC!Old review starts here:New picture window installed to replace an old one that frame had rotted from water. After the old window was removed, the installer found much more water damage than originally expected. He drove to lumber yard to get a new window sill and additional wood. What was supposed to be a several hour job ended up taking all day due to the damage. Danny, the installers attention to detail was absolutely fantastic. He added extra insulation and calking to make sure there would be no air leaks around the wood he had to replace.Once the job was finished, it looked better than we ever expected it would. The window quality was as good or better than those heavily advertised expensive units at a much lower cost.The overall job left us extremely satisfied and did not burn a hole in our wallet.I highly recommend RWC for a high quality reasonably priced window replacement or any other work they perform.We will be using them again for sure.

TL;DR :) extremely nice people, reliable and reputable contractors, exceptional workmanship, remarkable value; 10/10 would recommend!We have been putting off doing renovations on our 120-year-old home for the 11 years we’ve owned it, simply because we were nervous about finding a trustworthy and competent contractor in our area. We saw RWC working at a house across the street and as we say it, we “really liked their vibe” so we asked them for a quote on gutting and replacing our very busted old kitchen. Joe came out and listened to all our concerns and noted our tastes and wishlist, and came up with a comprehensive plan that included a really awesome 3d rendering. When the work began, we were most impressed with how kind and personable every worker, specialist, owner and employee of RWC was - they have truly built an incredible team of nice humans that you’d want to hang out with outside of the job. As work continued, we loved how respectful they were of us and our home - they left it spotless every day, took care to address any mid-project hazards before they left for the evening, and even made accommodations to protect our very curious cats.The workmanship level went far beyond what I felt like we were paying for. Dean, our carpenter and basically everything-person … I truly think he should be internationally famous for the work he does! He seemed to understand exactly what we wanted and would just magically make it happen, but he always asked questions about particulars to be sure he got things perfect the first time. The attention to detail was stunning.As far as pricing, it was definitely on the higher end of quotes we’ve gotten over the years, but we hoped we would be getting what we paid for - and we did. During the demo, issues arose outside of the scope of the project (rotting subfloor etc) - we worked out payment for the remedies with RWC, *and* they were taken care of immediately with no impact on the schedule. We never felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed, and the core project never went over budget. The payment schedule in our contract made the expense of an entirely new kitchen easy to manage.We’re relieved to have discovered them in a sea of horror stories and we feel like we have finally found “our contractor.” We are looking forward to working with RWC again on a couple bathroom renovations - and honestly, after this experience, we’re looking around our house for even more projects.

I hired RWC to install three windows in my living room in November 2019. From the time Anthony came to measure my windows and provided me with an estimate I knew that RWC was the right company to go with. Anthony is very knowledgeable and was always available to answer any questions I had regarding the windows.The installation was done by Danny and his assistant and they did a great job installing the windows in one day and paying close attention to every detail no matter how small. They installed a piece decorative crown molding on the top frame of the front window which added a nice detail to the window.Choosing RWC was definitely the right decision, I will definitely be using them again. My wife and I bought my grandparents house in 2017. I love my grandparents, but man, this house needed (and still needs) a lot of work! The first thing two things we wanted to tackle were the windows and the main bathroom (both hadnt been touched since the 1950s!). After vetting many companies/contractors, we chose RWC and couldnt be happier with our decision!Eric met with us and worked within our budget on both the windows and the bathroom. The windows were installed in no time and we love how they kept the overall look of the house. Were looking forward to the winter and NOT having an arctic blast flow through our kitchen!As great of a job as they did on our houses windows, the bathroom they renovated for us is absolutely STUNNING! Ashley was the point person on this project at RWC and she was very easy to work with and responsive. Pete was our foreman and he could not have been any nicer and down to earth. He did everything we asked of him with no complaint and did a phenomenal job! I also want to say that Pete the plumber was also stellar! Excellent company! Was very tough to find good windows contractors, but we are so glad we chose these guys. They got back to us right away, we set up a consultation and before long made a contract. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions we had. No doublespeak, no badgering, no gimmicks, just honest assessment and clear details. Seamless!The workers came out on time, did a beautiful installation fairly quickly, removed all the waste and soon we had new, expertly done windows. RWC was friendly, and helpful throughout. Its like dealing with a small mom and pop shop, even though they are a Windows giant!The level of professionalism, courtesy, and customer care threw us for a loop since we had been dealing with a lot of less than stellar contractors. Our experience with RWC was excellent. From the first time we walked into there showroom till the last day when the job was completed. Our salesperson Joe was never pushy took his time to show us all the necessary products to complete our bathroom renovation offering us suggestions on what to do. We recently replaced our master bath using RWC and overall it was a great experience. Joe Giampapa was our coordinator (and is one of the family members that run RWC). When we came to RWC all we knew was that we wanted to completely replace the bathroom - we didnt have any particulars in mind. Joe referred is to houzz and told us to look for trends/ideas that wed like. We took what we had and met with him in the West Caldwell showroom. In less than two hours we had everything picked out (tile, vanity, toilette, hardware, etc). The demolition took only one day and the dumpster was gone within a week. The project took a little longer than anticipated, but in my experience they always do. Joe was great to deal with and no problem was too much to handle. He was always very responsive and his team of contractors were always courteous and helpful. Highly recommend RWC and I love the fact they have physical location (wish I had used them for my kitchen five years prior!!!) and take credit cards.

We worked with Joe Giampapa at RWC to have all our windows and front door replaced. Windows were done first. A crew showed up on time and the entire house was done in a few hours. One or two screens had tiny holes in them and they were replaced after one phone call. The front door had some issues but at no fault to RWC. The installation of the door was fine. Paul did a great job, took his time and paid attention to detail. The door looked great. However after a few months we noticed something was wrong. RWC came right out and fixed it. Yet again we had the same problem. RWC worked together with us and the manufacturer to fix the problem. The door was fully warrantied and a brand new one was installed. Bottom line is RWC stands by its products and goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. I would not hesitate to recommend RWC for any project you need.The SalmonsFairfield NJ

3 years ago i needed to have one of my double-hung windows repaired. it had gone soft in the frame and would not stay open. i didnt know who to call so my wife suggested i look up the company that installed the windows; but that was 15 years earlier (1998). i still had the paperwork from when they installed 35 windows in our house. i figured what the heck, might as well give them a call. Not only did they remember me, but they came out the next day and repaired the window - no charge. as far as i know, the windows were no longer under warranty. Fast forward till this week - i needed to replace our two storms doors. My wife once again suggested i try Replacement Window. so once again i went back into the archives to find the original paperwork from the windows to find the phone number. Funny - after 19 years they still have the same phone number. they moved from Pollock Avenue in Jersey City out to a nice showroom in West Caldwell. my wife and i took a drive out to the West Caldwell location. We first met with Ashley, who began to show us around; when i mentioned Replacement Window did our windows 19 years ago she called for her brother - Eric. It was amazing to see the same guy who helped put in the windows 19 years ago still there, running the family-owned business with his sister Ashley. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to upgrade doors and windows; and after they complete the storm doors on our house we will also offer them an opportunity to upgrade our bathroom. 19 years and still a great experience!

My wife and I utilized RWC in the Summer of 2014 to renovate our entire first floor. Work included the complete removal of an existing 1950s kitchen, a dividing wall, flooring, trim, and half bathroom. Scope of work was quite large and Ashley, from RWC, was our contact/designer for the project.Ashley met us multiple times at home to show samples and discuss the extent of work to be done and also invited us into the showroom to see options to actual scale. While there she informed us of the process and introduced us to Pete who would be overseeing all the work on a daily basis. Everyone was great.The project kicked off on a Monday at about 8am and the house was gutted/demoed before lunch time. The guys did a great job keeping everything neat and clean despite all the work that had gone on. By weekend all inspections had been done and ready to close up the walls. My wife and I went on vacation to escape the work the following week. Upon our return we found that the entire project had been completed in record time! Our entire first floor had been completely remodeled in a 14 day period. Trim, cabinets, painting, cleaning, flooring etc.Ashley and her team at RWC did a fantastic job and made the entire process very simple and stress free. Despite my wife being a little demanding, we were assured the house would look great and it definitely does. I continuously refer people to RWC for any renovations, doors, or windows and will be using them again to renovate our second floor bathroom.

We wanted to replace 15 original wood widows in our house (built in 1929). We wanted to match the existing wood windows as best we could with modern more energy efficient ones. When Anthony of RWC came to our house, he gave us a variety of realistic options and thoroughly explained the entire process for the job. He was very personable and never pushy. After looking at some of the products at the showroom, we settled on Marvins that would be stained to match the old woodwork and painted to match those in the kitchen. If I could describe the work RWC did for me in one word it would be WOW. I had RWC replace ONE window in my garage. My first thought was that NO ONE will come out and replace ONE window. I rolled the dice and came down on a Saturday and told them that ALL my windows need to be replaced but for now I want to upgrade one window and work from there. I thought for sure they would tell me that they cant/wont go out on job that small. Surprisingly RWC gave me my options and I signed a contract for the job right then and there. I was told that they would be out at my house as soon as they close up to take measurements. Anybody that has dealt with contractors has had them promise you the world and as soon as they get your deposit its a different story.... After I paid my deposit I came home and not an hour or two later someone was AT MY HOUSE TAKING MEASUREMENTS! To say I was AMAZED would be an understatement. Down the road we set up a time and date and I waited for that fateful day. I was told Wednesday between 8 and 8:30. I bit my tongue because I wanted to say Which Wednesday? 8 AM? 8 PM? I wanted to be cool about the situation... Sure enough they came at a little before 8AM and finished the job pretty quickly. My crappy vinyl siding looks UNTOUCHED, the caulking around the window looks FLAWLESS, the window fits TIGHT in the frame (in my opinion)... all in all TOP NOTCH WORK!! If I could post a before and after picture with this review I would! RWC has me as a customer for the rest of my windows!

I hired RWC to replace all the windows in my house. This was a relatively large project of over 40 windows.I called a few other windows replacement contractors before I reached out to RWC. The common theme from the other contractors was that they’re very pushy and employ tactics to try and have you make a commitment to them the day they come out to give you an estimate. A good example of this is the infamous question “Will all the decision makers be available during the visit”. I actually had one of them cancel the appointment when I told them my spouse will not be available!Anyhow, then I learned about RWC and I stopped by their showroom in West Caldwell. I met Joe Giampapa who is one of the owners. Joe was super friendly and helpful. Joe walked me through the pros and cons of each of the window materials and manufacturers. I did some homework beforehand and learned a little myself and everything I learned through my own personal research aligned perfectly with Joe’s honest advice and recommendations. He absolutely never tried to upsell me a specific brand or material. After considering multiple options we decided to go with the Marvin Essential fiberglass windows for their durability and aesthetics.One thing you need to keep in mind though is that RWC is very busy so you might have to wait a bit which I did. This is how it is with all great contractors though, but the waiting is worth it especially for these large projects.Louis and his team came out and installed the windows last week. They were very friendly, professional and courteous and everything came out great.I highly recommend RWC and def plan on establishing a long term relationship with them for all my contractor needs.

I had a whole home renovation and I used RWC for my kitchen, doors and windows. It was probably one of the best decisions that I have ever made. From the minute you walk through the door youre treated like part of their family. Anytime I called the office I would deal with Ashley. She was always extremely helpful and super professional.When it came to the windows and doors, I dealt with Anthony. He is a great guy. He is extremely professional and gets things done. We had made a few changes since he first came out to measure for all the doors, so when the doors were being installed we noticed that some of the doors were not fitting correctly. So I gave him a call to let him know. He came out, remeasured the for doors and took care the the problem. No issues, no problems, just results. Also, which completely astonished me, was an issue we had with a few windows. When the windows arrived from the manufacturer and where initially installed, I notice that one or two windows were a little rough around the edges. I gave Anthony a call to let him know. He came out, took a look and said he would take care of the issue. I figured he would fix the one or windows I told him about. Not the case, he said that the windows were not up to his standard and had all 21 windows replaced. This is service that you dont hear about nowadays.When it came to the kitchen, I dealt with Joe. We all know that the kitchen is the centerpiece of the home. No matter what challenge I threw at Joe, he delivered and then some. This guy is a rockstar. He designed an amazing kitchen and the process was effortless. I literally just picked out the style cabinet and countertop I liked and he took care of the rest. He went the extra mile to make sure I got precisely what I wanted. He was available whenever I needed him and was instrumental in helping me in many other aspects of my remodel that he was not directly involved with. When people come over now they are in awe of my new kitchen and its all thanks to Joe. He is a standup guy and I have already referred him to friends looking to remodel their kitchen.All in all, no matter what the size of your job is, you cannot go wrong with RWC. Our door which had a custom feature came in late November. The installer (Brian) showed up right on time and the door arrived right afterward. They removed the old door and loaded it onto their truck for disposal. The complete installation went smoothly and by late afternoon we had a beautiful new door. Anthony came by in the afternoon to check on the progress. Needless to say we are very happy with RWC and have already recommended them to two different friends who need doors. Top notch installers! Once they give you an install date they show up on time and finish when they said they would. They clean up after they finish their work and handle them selves in a professional manor. I signed 3 contracts with them now and will use them again for future projects.
