I recently bought a home in West Michigan, and I couldnt get the generator Id bought independently to power the house. I was referred to Michigan Critical Power and, even though Id never worked with them before, their tech helped me out over the phone and got the house powered up (that one hidden breaker, grrr!!). A+ service, definitely recommend.

Had my generator from Michigan Critical Power installed in late 2022. Prompt, clean, excellent explanations, very positive experience. Fast forward to today, after returning from extended winter vacation, found that the generator had faulted- causing generator to not start for a couple of months (noones fault, no-one here to monitor it). Two phone calls to Michigan Critical Power- over the course of about 30 minutes, and the fault is cleared, education gotten (by me) :) and couldnt be happier with the service. Might have been able to get a better price (although that would surprise me) but feel fortunate that I chose MCP for my whole house generator. Outstanding!! Special thanks to Spencer for walking us through the reset process. Highly recommended.

Their work to keep our older generator running has undoubtedly saved us thousands of dollars and brought peace of mind to our family. Their service is worth more than what they charge because they actually care if youre left out in the cold or not.

I lovr my Cummins generator! It was a bit intimidating at first for a 75-yr-old lady, and I had an issue with my first outage, but Michigan Critical Power was fabulous and Im thrilled with their commitment to their customers, knowledge, and availability, as well as their generators. My Cummins ran the house wihout having to cut back on usage at all: AC, well, sump, refrigerators, freezer, computer, lights, TV, etc all ran perfectly. Consumers initially scheduled power restoration in about 8 hours, then added 12 and another 12 and another 12; without a great generator that might have been a disaster. Peace of mind - knowing that Ill have water, wont lose food, wont lose heating or cooling, wont risk basement flooding, and knowing that if something goes wrong this company has my back - those things are well worth the investment.

John came recommended from another five star contractor who installed my Lenox furnace and air conditioning system.The team was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Michigan Critical Power replaced our old 10KW generator with a new Briggs and Stratton 20KW unit three years ago. It has worked perfectly. They call us every spring for an annual check up and maintenance, and Spencer has been out to perform the check up every year. Good people to work with!

MCP repaired our vintage Briggs & Stratton generator a few years ago, and have helped us keep it running ever since. They are great to work with, and charge a fair rate for only what is actually needed to repair the unit. Theres no upselling or telling us we need a new generator when only a minor repair is required.This week our power went out, and our generator wasnt starting. I got us up and running again myself by replacing the old battery with a new one from Batteries Plus - a Duracell AGM just like MCP put in our unit 6 years ago. But I only figured that out because John M. helped troubleshoot the issue over the phone with me, and was extremely helpful. Michigan Critical Power staff always seem genuinely interested in helping, and I highly recommend them for generator service.

A year ago they came up to BR and fixed our whole house generator. The young man also did the annual maintenance oil change and check up. Prices were quoted ahead for checkup and the hourly rate etc for the repair. He was very thorough & found a mouse nest and chewed wires had caused our problem. Very reasonable. I recommend them. 😊
