    I can highly recommend Fein Construction in all areas. Mike is not only meticulous in his work and attention to detail, but also thoughtful, creative and helpful in offering solutions to any issues and ideas to improve the look and function of the project. Judi has also been extremely helpful in this regard as well as supremely organized. All of his subs did excellent work and were scheduled seamlessly to get the job done in a timely way. Mike and Judi are a formidable team; high quality work, on budget(true to estimate), and ON TIME!

    Mike and Judi are an amazing team, and we feel so lucky that we found them to do our home addition. Mike was on site throughout the whole project, and pretty much became part of the family by the end, and Judi was not only super organized and kept everything running smoothly, but also very patient and kind as I vacillated between paint color choices or stressed over tiles. Both Mike and Judi were extremely thoughtful about our familys needs throughout the process, doing their best to minimize disruption for our children, and they made the process as smooth as they could for all of us. We had never done a big construction project before, and they both were very organized and professional, and were there to help us through every step, even before they were officially working at our property. And we absolutely love the end result! The quality of the work is wonderful, and we were impressed by every team that worked on the house. We had some complicated elements to incorporate, and Mike and his team handled everything with an attention to detail and thoughtfulness that made it all came together beautifully. Mike also worked with us to add a number of fun and unique details that make the house feel really special and really us. Thank you both so much!

    Fein Contruction was recommended by our Architect for our renovation, and we could not have been happier with the results. From the moment we met Mike during the estimate process we felt comfortable that he and Judi would give us the renovation we expected. We have a 1921 Colonial which presented a few challenges, but Mike and his team worked through the issues and gave us a beautifully completed project. The communication process was very good, Mike kept us up to date on project timing, and the coordination with his subcontractors first rate. The work was completed on time and the quality has been excellent. We had some rework (again we have a 1921 Colonial) but issues have been resolved quickly without inconvenience. We could not be happier with the results and would gladly recommend Mike and Judi.

    Fantastic overall experience from beginning to end. Team is organized, professional, and responsive - literally NONE of the stereotypical issues and problems one encounters in the contracting businesses. Numbers were realistic and accurate from before we started to final bills - and any changes were communicated quickly along the way. The quality of work and coordination of his subcontractors was outstanding.Dont be fooled and burned by a builders who underbid to win the job, then makes changes along the way - go with someone who has decades of experience and a track record of keeping to the plan both in terms of time and money. On a personal note, Mike and Judy helped with decisions that kept us on budget and schedule - not pushing us to excess, but helping us toward a great outcome. We couldnt be more pleased.Can not recommend Fein Construction more highly in the NY-Metro area. We hope to work with them again in the future.

    We live in Florida and bought an older home in Kinnelon, NJ as a family get away.It needed a total (to the studs) first floor renovation. We’ve had this type of challenge in the past but never in a different state. We are both very particular and knew we had to find a meticulous quality builder we could trust to do the job right.The prior owner had the roof raised, adding a couple bedrooms, office and bath a few years before we bought the home. The superior workmanship was visible from the attic and finished areas. Our home inspector commented on the quality of the work.The prior owner shared with me that FEIN Construction had done this work as well as finished the lower level.We had to wait a bit to get on Fein’s schedule. It was clearly worth the wait. There are beautiful finishes in area we hadn’t even thought about.Mike and Judi are a team and made the entire process a delight.Further, we learned in the process that Mike has quite an eye for design and finishes. Between Mike and my wife, we did not need an interior decorator.We would highly recommend FEIN Construction for any remodel, renovation, or new home construction.

    Weve been working with Fein Construction for 30+ years. Throughout this time Mike & Judi have managed several projects including finished basement, new bathrooms, and complete 1st floor renovation with upgraded kitchen. With each project Mike was there from start to finish, on time and on budget, overseeing all facets. We were always very pleased with his professionalism, attention to detail and quality of work. Our most recent experience with Fein Construction came from storm damage, when several trees fell on our roof, resulting in extensive damage to the roof and house interior. Mike responded immediately and within weeks, our house was back in order, both inside & out. Fein Construction is always our first call.

    Working with Fein Construction was beyond perfect. Our project was a complete home remodel, including a full gut and addition. The entire process was enjoyable, which you rarely hear in home construction projects. We knew what was happening each day and were given frequent updates on the progress. The use of the app allowed us to track everything and even look back on the history of the project as needed. Mike provided ideas when he first reviewed our plans that dramatically improved our home and we are so thankful for today. We were fortunate to have our project completed early and it is all thanks to the hard work and diligence of Fein Construction.     If you are looking for perfection Fein Construction is the way to go. He listens to your ideas and even adds his own suggestions from all his experience to get you the perfect result.     Mike was a consummate professional from the first time we met to the completion of our home. With his guidance, we had an architect design and Mike oversee the building of a custom designed 3800 Sq foot home with many high end amenities like radiant heat, spa bathrooms and gourmet kitchen.     Mike Feinberg is a great residential contractor. He had a difficult job with our house as I had young children when he worked on our house. I asked him to try and get the work done quickly as I didnt want to live in a construction zone with young children. Not only did they get the job done on time they actually got the job done ahead of schedule. In addition they walked us through the budget process so that we could stay within a budget we could afford. The most important thing of all the job was done well and we were very happy with the work they did on our house.

    My wife and I had a total home renovation done July 2018. The house was gutted down to the studs and Mike was organized and moving from day one. He shared mine and my wife’s vision of what our house should look like and contributed ideas along the way that made a major impact on the design and final outcome. Considering the horror stories people hear about home renovations and contractors we were scared going in but our fears were quickly put to rest.     Mike and Judy built our house in 2004, finished the basment a year later, and last year, rebuilt our failing deck(from another contractor). They are always on time and on budget.     We contracted Fein Construction to build a custom home in Englewood Cliffs from ground up in October of 2011. Fein construction and its subcontractors were responsible for every phase of the home building. The project completed on time and within budget on Sep 15, 2012 I think we are probably the exception but we really found the journey into building our dream homes was really a enjoyable and stress-free experience. From the first time we met Mike and Judi Feinberg in the bidding process, we were impressed by their passion, dedication, and knowledge. And most important of all, we found that they are someone we can completely trust. And it is this mutual trust that allows us to manage such a large undertaking while having to raise two young children and working full time. There are times when we were not able to visit the construction site for several weeks due to work schedule but we felt completely comfortable because we knew Mike always strives to maintain the highest standard of workmanship and he would make decisions in our best interest even in our absence. Our neighbor even told us that he wish his builder would have been as dedicated and spent as much time as Mike has on the construction site watching every little detail. Everyone who comes to visit our new house is impressed by details of the workmanship and quality of the construction. We also have many people drive-by and told us that this is the most unique and beautiful house in the area. Even the building inspector of the town was impressed by Mikes work and told us that we were fortunate to have selected such a fine builder. Furthermore, Mike still cared about this project many months after we moved in. Any time I have any question home improvement, he would take time to stop by and offer his expertise. I can wholeheartedly recommend Fein Construction to anyone who is thinking of building a new house or remodeling their existing homes.
